Under diamond and imbued diamond there is no mention of the act of imbuing a diamond. This is a class and deity limited ability. Cleric, and Shaman classes of the deity Mithaniel Marr are empowered to imbue diamonds with the use of the imbue diamond spell. These imbued diamonds are then used to make the above recipes. Cleric, Druid and Shaman classes of other gods have other gems that they can imbue which in turn have other recipes that can be made. My Cleric of Rodcet Nife imbues Pearls. My cleric of Bristlebane imbues peridots. My Druid of Karana imbues Plains Pebbles. I clicked on the link to the the spell information for imbue diamond and found a post (by agonizer 2/22/203 and updated 1/28/2007) which anyone interested should read because it is the most complete list I have ever seen, but is still incomplete. I did not link it because so many links quit working or the website closes down.

Had 2 drop this eve from dragorn peons in The Bloodfields.
Offered frequently for 200 – 400p in the Bazaar. Average price range being 250 – 300p. Seen full stacks (100) sell in this range every couple months. Early in the year the prices were at the higher end 400p, but in recent weeks a glut on the market makes them available in this wider range. Someone is buying them right now (Bristlebane) in barter mode at 50p. (/barter when in the bazaar zone)
Because they sell to a vendor for more than 50 plat. I've seen the same thing on the Nameless, as recently as last week. Peopel /barter for blue diamonds for 150 plat...and they sell to vendor for more than that. I normally sell my blue diamonds for 250. They go rather fast, as they are the cheapest in the baz. The other knuckleheads are selling theirs for 300 - 350.

What did they change about the Diamond? I see nothing different about it, although it has only been one night hehe, but if anyone sees anything changed about it then either e-mail me ( kingmen30264@gmail.com ) or post a responce.

I think they just added more places that it drops from TSS.

They drop of the Sentry Guards in PoJ. Sells to NPC for around 190-200 pp with maxed out charisma.

any tips on how and where best to farm these?
When leveling my pally I found that a lot of diamonds (raw, regular, and blue) drop at the entracne in Crypt of Decay...off of the Puslings and others. Don't expect to solo these mobs much as they are level 60, hit pretty hard, and it's pretty easy to get adds here. Exp pre-60/61 is great and post 60/61 its nice for AA...plus there is rarely anyone in this zone on my server. Just my thoughts...

the best place to farm em is in crystal caverns.prettly low lvl mobs there.bout 35.they drop fairly often.
Actually I don't think diamonds of any kind drop in Crystal Caverns, but "chipped diamond" and many other "chipped" gems drop. These sell for the price of the original gem, but the do not stack and obviously can't be used in the same tradeskills.

They also rarely and randomly drop off the higher-level mobs in Chardok, notably near the herbalist shack.

I got one in a Vox raid. I'm not sure that the diamon ame from Vox herself. Might have been one of the giants we killed on the way to Vox.

I got mine in Dulark on one of the ships, they have a random gem drop there.
not just off the mobs on the ships but also random drop off the dockside mobs also
This drops off just about every high-level encounter in the game. It is a rare drop, however, so don't waltz into SolB and expect it to drop off each imp you see.
I have had a diamond drop off imps, as mentioned, in SolB, off Frenzy and Rasta in LGuk, off almost everything (especially named) in Seb, all over Velks, Giant guards in Permafrost, one came from a mermaid in Kedge, AC dropped one in OOT. I won't even mention the Planes (but there you're looking for Blue Diamonds). If you want a Diamond for resist gear or whatever, look to high-level zones, and then start killing. They'll drop soon enough.

I head a rumour that they fall off the Allizewsaur in Ocean of Tears?? I don't know if this I am going to check it out and camp the bugger though, I need one for the Level 49 Pally Spell Divine Might.

Before they added the Planes way back before Kunark, the only source of Black Sapphires and Diamonds in the game was Alli (the giant lizardman) in the OOT. Unless they changed the loot table recently, he still drops them.

In Seb, I got one off of a scarab in NG.
Its a random drop of several high level creatures in several zones. Best chances to get one of these are the planes or old sebilis. Good luck.
