These are the Bloodfields as they were during the Muramite invasion of Kuua. Muramites have overtaken most areas within these green fields, but the Dragorn still have a stronghold on the City of Dranik.

Killing wrong mobs...

There are dragorn muramites that you should kill - not the Dragorn of the same kind that you are friendly to.

Broken Hotzone?

Is this place broken? As a 75 necro with a 90 magician I was getting 1%< exp per kill and was getting 1% an aa on kill to mobs that were red. Versus korascian warrens not being a hot zone getting 4% a kill on reds with a lvl 100 pally.

Agreed, I've spent a lot of time in this zone over the years and I have no doubt that OBF's zone experience modifier was always too low. Since OBF became a hotzone the XP increased but it is still low compared to even SOF higher tiered zones, ie Fort Mech,Gyro Zeka or even Beza.

So when I carry an 85 character to get some AAs or level up in OBF it is noticeably slower despite having mainly even and yellow cons to the 85 compared to Zeka which has mainly dark blue cons to the 85 character yet gives better XP per mob killed especially aaxp.

Positive side effect of grinding in this zone is the two AC augs (zonewide random-somewhat rare) and an elusive (for me) damage aug that I have never got to drop in many hours of killing all types of mobs in the zone. Otherwise, the vendor fodder is not very good for an SOD top tiered group zone.

I totally agree, something is broken with this zone. I got far more exp soloing in the Warrens and Tosk as an 86 mage. The exp in this "hot zone" was PATHETIC.

As an alternative to The Feerrott, I'd suspect when this becomes a hotzone, AA's experience should be good if you still get the AA bonus ( I don't..being well over the 4k AA cutoff). Nocs, Kyvs, and Muramites can all be Headshot here at rank 21 ( possibly 20 as well...can confirm ranks 21/ 22), so the cat's out of the bag (ftw if you could HS here..now ya know :). Many mobs do summon so be prepared for close combat and possible adds, because the pathing is still bad as ever, but some good 80's augs drop here off trash, in addition to purity augs, and on the server I'm on, OBF is usually empty. Good luck! ****P.S. as a sidenote, since it's not mentioned for those who are not aware, most no-drop armour/ weapon drops SoD and later can be turn in for tribute..another bonus!***

Zone In:
Safe to zone in as are all the mobs around you.
The mobs in the buildings by the zones are safe but the outside guys are not.

Invis:
I ran Invis to Old Dranic to see Commander Prezul and did not catch any agro

Evac Point:
Is right by the Zone in from the Void.

I hate this zone ...

I can't believe they brought back this POS zone - in an otherwise great expansion be ready for the same old GoD and OoW crap that almost ruined the game. FOE speed mobs that summon, hit for 4k+ and randomly warp all over the place. Pathing that is just boggling. Overcoming the game mechanics in this assinine zone is the real challenge.

Ya have to go through here though for progression. So bring your Tank/Healer/Slower, and stuff yourself in a corner for endless, mindless, and painful grinding. Other classes - just go AFK and watch TV while the trinity shows you how its done.

He's right, I hate this zone with a passion.

1, xp is garbage or completely broken. My group got zero (yep zero) xp here on aa but got plenty when that same group went to a lower lvl zone (so yeah, its F**d).

2, The stupid dragorns summon at 100% hp. Why? Who knows? But its decidedly obnoxious for anyone who doesn't have agro wipe.

3, The "quest givers" assist the dragorns you need for daily and can summon you even if you haven't hit them.
