Simple answer to gating issues

simple answer to them is : to gate they need manna, take away manna, they cannot gate. Sieve them till they are bone dry, then kill. We like to have this going on while the TM's are holding them, if we can.
Not always summon

Small group of us were killing things on west wall by waterfall. One of these treant things showed up and it took a long time to kill it. It tried to gate but we got it.

A while later another one showed up. I told everyone to camp if it gates. It gated and we all relogged.

Later on a third one showed up. I called same plan. However everyone was feeling pretty cocky and wanted to see if it came back. It didnt. Also no one got summoned. I was MT so I was a bit more worried than the others :)
It was still in my target and I conned it as scowls or threatenly. I cast invis and conned it indifferent. So think somehow when it gated, it lost aggro because if it still had me on the hate list, it should have saw thru my invis and not conned indiff.

The 55+ treants can drop the warrior & rogue Legs. They do gate so it helps to mana sieve them.

Does having an ench mana sieving them prevent this guys from gating? i know it does help with some giants in KD that sometimes gate if not sieved so was wondering if it worked on this trees as well.

Yes - seive them and they nothing to worry about.

THere is one or two that wander around they VERY outside edges of the ENTIRE zone.. .... THey will shock and surprise the crap outta someone that is pulliing to the west wall camp and is not ready for them.

heyas ralagastar from tunare server here....just thought i would ad that the lvl 12 wizard spell: shock of lightning should be cast on these treants...it has a small knock back effect..hey everything helps on they nasty mofos =D

These guys, for some reason, GATE AND SUMMON a LOT. I was the main Malo (being a level 60 mage) in growth for a few nights, and these are the only things that would ever summon me. Fortunately, their spawn seems 1) along the river at almost random places or 2) near tunares tree. So, if ya pull the treants from tunares tree, and the big named one is up, and they summon and kill you.. you had BETTER have a necro there, or you are screwed.

Tranq Treants cannot be stunned. At around 30% all nukers have to open up with everything they got, or the Treant will gate and you'll have to camp out before he decides to summon.

Be sure to Bash those hard casue they gate when Low on hp and then starts summoning people to the tree where Tunare is, so be sure to keep tanks on one side and bash hard, or you have to CR for sure

Yes, it's pushing the mob by having all tanks on one side that does the trick. Works well with all the treants. If they gate you're in big trouble.

If you are KOS to Druids cause you killed Treants in S Karana. do these have faction that will trigger these to be KoS cause of there Tree Kin folk ?
