Just dropped a Diamond and an Ooze Crystal.

Also, the mob runs after it hits 20% life.
You do not have to hit the spawned mob, it will disappear after a couple hits to the Yellow Ooze.

as a hint for any wizards wanting to kite these, the best way ive found to deal with the clone adds is to kite these oozes at full speed (they run just slower than run 5 so will be hot on your tail) and use insta-clicky nukes, clones despawn before the original ooze dies so just ignore them.

One of the A Yellow ooze conned white (even) to me at level 71 so max is not 70.

Playing with 2x 71 war, 71 dru, 70 cler, 70 mage, & 61 bst- we could get the clones down by 50% fairly regularly, but then they poofed. They ate the beast and druid sometimes too. Rotten mobs......
Mob can spawn clone
# Sep 27 2006 at 6:12 AM Rating: Decent
I was fighting on of these and around 50% health it spawned 'a unstable ooze clone' that was a light blue con. I switched to bash the clone and around 75-80% health it despawned.
mob can spawn add
# Sep 27 2006 at 6:06 AM Rating: Decent
I was fighting one of these and around 50% it cloned a light blue add, named something like an unstable ooze clone (will update as it happens again). I started beating on the clone, and after about 20% damage it despawned.
