The level range of attackable NPC's is 96 through 101.

Where is this info coming from that these are the levels?

Mobs are level 90's, except for rare which are higher. Zone guide lists this zone as 95-100. Items like armor etc are level 90 and up.

Excellent zone for Necro Kiting most of the high level versions of the "normal" mobs from the low level zone don't summon and don't run at bard speed when snared

I'm not sure if the random drops are zone-wide or area-dependent. It may just be coincidence but I got different drops depending on where I was.

The following were obtained at the Chief Ry`Gorr camp:
Band of Minimal Effort
Distorting Crystal Grimace

Inside the Orc Fort:
Bloody Leather Loop
Whispering Compass

At the Drummon Coldshanks camp:
Forgotten Mojo
Antithesis of Fear

At the NE Ruins (Kurlok the Mad area) I got the following caster gear (decent gear while you are waiting for your T1 or T2 drops):
Webbed Netting Sleeves
Sleeping Cap of Unrest
Crescent Slacks
