I was on with Cleric and Mage and picked up the various armor that drop. I picked on Mages, Iksaur Warrior, and Enchanters items. You have to turn the armor into the specific class guild masters. I turned in the warrior pieces and the mages but the Enchanters guild masters would not take the chanter pieces. I turned in a total of four and received 1% xp for each turn in except for the warrior chest item it was 2%; I also received some diamonds which I turned in for the Marsinger quest.

Fine insidious armor that drops here is not able to be turned in for a reward . All you get it the piece of armor back as of 4/13/12

Fine insidious is for the enchanter epic 1.5. The insidious armor is the one that turns in to the enchanter guildmasters. I started doing this quest tonight to help fund JC. It works well. I got Raw Diamonds, Peridot, and Diamonds. The earlier post about turning AA's to 100% was useful. It takes turning in 3 pieces of armor to raise me 1% XP at lvl 70. Had my AA's been turned to 100%, I would have probably gotten a few AA's out of the 6 pieces I turned in tonight.

Farmed in Hate a while and collected many pieces of the Armor. Average is 4 pieces turned in for each AA.
Average about 65 mobs per hour, 7 mobs per AA so it was a very good farm session!! Not to mention the thousands of Plat.
I would guess 8k plat per hour including gems from the armor quest.

Got me 7% AA exp for turning in Cleric BP (from PoHate) to guildmaster in PoK + Peridot
turned in bard legging earlier and got some exp but no gem

Trelli Steelswinger, the Dwarf Berserker Guildmaster, is who you turn Soul Rage armor in to. She is located in the SouthEast most building on the good side of Plane of Knowledge.
She did not respond when I asked "What Armor?". I conned indiffernetly to her. When I hailed her:
Trelli Steelswinger says " I won't do anything to aid the likes of you Wood Elf."
Nonetheless, she still accepted the armor and said:

Grave Lord Vizurik, the Iksar Shadow Knight Guildmaster, is who you turn Greenmist armor in to. He is located on the 2nd floor of the large building on the Kartis (evil) side of Plane of Knowledge. Simply ask:

Grave Lord Vizurik says "in order to ensure the survival and dominance of future generations of shadowknights, the acquisition of Greenmist armor takes top priority. If you happen to have any pieces with you that you would be willing to donate, I can make it worth your while."

It seems that Fine Insidious for Enchanter 1.5 prequest drops more frequently than normal Insidious. Fine Insidious cannot be turned in for xp/gems in POK.

I turned in a woven shadow breastplate and an ethereal mist bracer today. For the chest piece the xp i got back was 5% aa and for the bracer it was 3% aa. So perhaps the amount of xp you recieve back is scaled to how important a piece you hand in. The gem is certainly random though because i got a peridot for the chest and a diamond for the bracer. All the xp was calculated at 100% to aa at level 80.

Trelli Steelswinger is the GM for Berserkers who you turn the berserker PoF gear into.
Have been getting mixed results. Handed in items matching the name types above successfully to Warlord Welorf (WAR) and High Priest Vasil (CLR) but others just handed the items back to me such as Oracle Maeth (SHM) and Phantasmist Tairon (ENC). Handed 3 different armor pieces to Welorf. Tairon would not accept 2 different pieces. Tried alternate GMs in PoK with same result. Your mileage may vary. :)

they all work! I have personally handed in each type and they all work fine! Legionnaire & Scaled Hierophant types must be handed in to the proper GM, which is either Iksar warrior or Iksar Shaman since those 2 types can only be worn by iksar! Also, there are some armor types for enchanters, I believe its the pieces called Fine Insidious, these are not part of planar armor exchange they are 1.5 prequest pieces!

can confirm Trelli Steelswinger in POK will accept Ber armor for xp & gem - I got diamond
Did this quest last night for the first time after spending my first long duration single group exp tour in PoH. Had around 12 pieces of hate armor drop and was able to turn them all in except for some fine insidious enchanter armor that no enchanter guildmaster will take, oh well. I am lvl 54 and had 10% exp designated to AA and recived substantial exp and aa exp for my turn ins. Got almost a half aa and a whole yellow section of regular exp. Love it, now just need ot figure out what to do with that darn fine insidiouse chanter armor.

Same here. Had about 2 or 3 peices of enchanter armour, and couldn't find anyone to turn them in to. Ended up destroying them since they're no drop *shrug* I had a bunch of other armour peices though, so no worries. Great XP and I managed to get 3 Blue Diamonds out of the deal. I'm a happy camper.
Yeah, I got some Fine Insidious drops last night and no Chanter GM will take it. Bit disappointing given how good the rewards have been for most of the other turn-ins.

We went to PoH tonight with a group and my husband and I looted severel pieces of this armor for the quests. But when I went to turn em in, and got experiance, and peridots. LOL.. Sucks huh?

My share from a venture in Plane of Hate was a

Seems the Enchanter part is broken. No Enchanter will except thier pieces at the moment and as im getting more of those than anything else at mo, is a bit maddening

The only thing I could think of is that my Enchanter drop said "Fine Insidious ...", not just "Insidious ...". I /bug'd it like the rest of you.
At level 55 my BST got 1-2% each piece and a Diamond. Not bad - I'm just happy that the regular exp in PoH is good for me. :)

FINE Insidious is for the Chanter pre-1.5 epic quest (if you dont have 1.0). It;s not a part of the planar armour exchange.

My Husband did this quest and he turned in one piece at lvl 46/47 and got 5% Xp and a blue dimond which he sold for 250 plat to the vendor. I can't wait till I can go to the planes with my Cleric she is now at lvl 40 :) so I am almost there :) Hope to see all you stormm'ers there. Good Luck to you all :)
at 55 gives about 1% normal exp per turn in.. mostly returns diamonds of different kinds and peridots..
I did 10 turn ins and got back
3 blue diamonds
1 raw diamond

at level 11 i did this turn in with my enchanter alt andi got about 3/4 of a yellow of xp and a raw diamond.

My question to you would be then, since PoH and PoF are level restricted and the armor is no drop, how'd a level 11 toon do a turn in???
He's on a special ruleset server, even though he spelled it wrong. Lot's of unintended consequences of the ruleset, too. Stuff that's no-drop in other servers are droppable on FV.
just turned in a cleric leg piece and shammy leg piece at lvl 58 all xp going to AA and got 1 blue total for both.. got a peridot for cleric legs and blue dimond for the shammy leggs..

At level 53 I had all exp set to regular. I turned in two pieces and got just under one blue bubble of experience.
I received a blue diamond and a peridot.

Turned in three pieces of Imbrued (bard PoH armor) today. I'm level 55 and had 100% of my XP going into AA. This is what I got:
Bracer: 3 blue notches of AAXP and a Peridot.
Helm: 3 blue notches of AAXP and a Raw Diamond.
Legs: 3 blue notches of AAXP and a Peridot.
So it looks like the EXP/gem you get aren't related to the type of piece... the EXP is constant and the gems random.
I also think this is a very nice idea... way back when, these items were quite decent, and many people put in a lot of effort to try to acquire them. It would be a shame if they were to become completely useless. I only hope they implement a similar system for now-useless PoH/PoF class-specific drop weapons... I still have the 8/23 Martune Rapier and 11/25 Evensong rotting in my bank... and really, those were crappy even back when I first got them.

I got the Insidious Robe from plane of hate the other night while raiding with my guild. I'm having very little luck figuring out where to turn it in at, i tried Sorcerer Kerynth from PoK but he keeps telling me he has no use for it. is there some kind of trick to this trade im just not seeing? does he want something else with the robe?

An Insidious Robe is usable only by enchanters, so you must give it to one of the enchanter guildmasters: Phantasmist Abaur, Phantasmist Salkith, or Phantasmist Tairon (the write-up above lists who accepts what).

Here is the who who and the what what "I think"
I did this quest a few min ago and this is my take on the thing.
1. You have to talk to the proper class master for each class. Druids armor needs to go to druids, Shaman to Shaman, so on and so forth.
2. You can't give an item that is not wearable by that class to a different class. So if you have a druid armor you can not give it to the shammie class master.
3. Before you do the hand in talk to the class master to make sure your handing in the right item. "/say What Armor" they will respond with the exact name for the type. For Vermiculated the class master will ask for Vermiculated armor. For the Greenmist you have to turn it in to the Iksar SK. The others will not take it. So this leads me to believe the following. If your going to hand in the armor you need to look at the Class Masters race and class. If that combo can ware the armor then they will accept it from you.
4. From what i can also tell the more a race combo that your turning into would like your race combo the better the gem. What i mean is I turned in to a woodelf druid got a diamond. Turned in to a darkelf rogue got a perdot. Did the turn in to a barb beastlord got a raw diamond. So take that at face value.
This is a nice quest for exp if your 46-53 If your higher than this make sure your set to 100 pct aa's for the best results, as the xp is ok to good from 46-53. After that is is not that good.

At lvl 55 was getting 1% reg xp per turn in, more than killing the mob, thats pretty damn good imo.
myself, a dorf paladin turned in 4 pieces to Difur and rec'd 2 raw diamonds, 1 blue diamond and a diamond. My friends halfling rogue turned in his pieces and got 2 peridots and a blue diamond. The point to this is that it doesn't really matter what race you turn in the armor to. The results are random gems. I did get a blue bubbleof xp tho'.

I bought black sleeves of night to replace my vermiculated arms. Turned in the arms to get 3/4 blue AA xp at 59 and a raw diamond (190 pp). Not too bad for something i would have destroyed instead.

Hubby just turned in Insidious Gloves to Phantasmist Abaur (the one on the good side)
He got the messages "these will do nicely" or some such and got exp (not mesurable exp in 56)
But he didn't get ANY gem. Nothing.
Is this standard or a bug?

My only thought would be that maybe he had a few peridots already, got a peridot in return and just didn't notice it?
