This is one of the minor boss mobs - its a tough version of 'a spirit flux wolf' and much bigger.
You could say it is 'The' spirit flux wolf and unlike the normal mobs it always drops an item :)

I did. Look at pic, it says "a spirit flux wolf", not "Spirit Flux Wolf". This mob is alrady in the bestiary under a different entry. I have never seen "Spirit Flux Wolf" in all the time i spent farming PoG myself.

While raiding Plane of Growth my party of 30 people killed many spirit flux wolves. It seem to be the only stuff dropping anything. We got Assasin's Gauntlets, Coif, and Bracer. Also we got a Berzerker's Bracer. If ya got a rogue that needs equipment go with the wolves!

Tried to cast dazzle on one of these last night, got the message your target can not be affected by this spell. Can these be mezzed?

most of these i have seen were blue to me @ 55, and they cannot be mezzed...
