Access to Qvic is granted in the later stages of Gates of Discord progression (note that being Level 62+ grants you access without having progression).

Two mountain passes full of kyv hunters and mastruq bonereaders merge in to what was once the majestic site of the nihilite prayer grounds. Muramites have taken over the area, as it is now crawling with kyvs, ukuns, aneuks, and others. Most noteable are the M`Shas, who are a popular hunt for their Muramite Armor, and Cynosure Kvanjji, who opens the passageway to Inktu'ta, the Unmasked Chapel.

A twisting network of caves leading to the chapel of Inktu`ta (home to the Trusik Tribe) lies in the western mountains while the temple of Txevu sits in the north.

Level 62 is required to enter the zone.

Can bring merc, and must be level 65 to enter. She just tells you to go fish or kill beetles if you are below that point (much to my bard's dismay)

At 62, you can enter, but must use the KT entrance. The NPC in Natimbi won't work till 65.

Is Qvic an instanced zone? Everything I have read indicates that it is NOT instanced. Is there an instanced and a non-instanced version of it (maybe)? Our guild is currently taking on Uqua, and I noticed this discrepancy on Alla.

Anyone care to clarify if Alla is wrong?

Unlisted in the database. I got this a few weeks ago off one of the trash named near the NE corner. I didn't pay attention to the name (one of the Pixxt mobs), nor did I notice that the earring wasn't listed in the database until I just tried to update my profile.

Do the GoD armor drop pieces drop from things that are groupable? or just from raid targets?

Unless it's changed from release, you have to be 65 to zone or even be REZED into yxxta, and I would assume qvic.

A guildie lost 65 on a yxxta raid and was unable to be rezed back in and had to go get power leveled in fire before he could be rezed back to his body.

My guild starting to raise up to higher level raiding places, i know we arn't quite this far yet probally, but about what level you all think a raid of 20ish people need to be to take out some of the lower level guys here? Or do you HAVE to be level 65 to enter?

If your guild is not Time/GoD geared you will not make it through the flagging process to get to Qvic.

That may have been true at the time of TexasWizard's post. But with the recent release of DoD; I'm sure many guilds can skip Time and ep flagging. So long as they have a good enough tank to handle the group missions... Which is easy to come by now a days. There are so many 13k+ buffed tanks kicking around. IF I were starting a guild out I'ld definately just do the missions until we'ld have clerics with 7k+ mana pools and tanks with 13k+ hp then jump into GoD progression. Forget about yxtta primals, EP, and Time. Cragbeast queen might be worth looking into though, the loadstar makes a nice range slot for tanks. I'm sure if a cleric did get all the DoD gear that cleric would have near 9k mana pool.

Gear is one thing, skill is another. Raiding Time provides the needed skill to your guild. Currently my guild is working Uqua. What we learned in Time is invaluable here. Without it , things would be much harder/impossible. You are correct that DoDh does make things easier , but unless your guild has a large grp of seasoned raiders , skipping Time will be a mistake. If you can't get past Cornivar in Water or past Tallon and Inny in Time, you won't make it past Ikk 3 or 4.

Funny...

Though I personally am Time flagged (and have some gear), my current guild has not gotten farther than Xegony/FRo in EP and yet we beat Ikk3 last week. I don't doubt that Time gear could help, but the strats in Time are more about zerging than finesse. When PoP was the current new release, Quarm was all about numbers not as much about skill or strategy. DPS became king against RZtW and Inny and Quarm. While DPS still makes you uber, newer content forces you to make atypical decisions during battle. It has become more of a thinking game than an auto-attack game.

No sir, a guild getting to Time does not guarantee seasoned raiders any more than a guild mired in VT for the past 3 years. Pop encounters are about numbers; GoD (OoW, DoN, and high-end DoD) encounters are about finesse.

your guild will have to get bigger to be able to compleat the trials that are needed top get flaged for this zone. everyone needs 65. Kod'Taz would be a better place to aim at going, and since qvic is many raids after kod'taz its a good place to start.
