This guy came as an add to a Wyvern pull in SF tonight, and our 53rd level Bard was (fortunately) able to charm him. He dropped the 59th level Wizard spell, Vengeance of Al'Kabor, and some minor coin.

This is not true, at the top this webpage says they cant be mezzd or stunned, i know for sure they can be stunned, have done it myself, but as for mezz not sure.
Pull with dooming darkness then root. Cast splurt and liche then sit down and med . When health goes down two bubs cast Bond of Death and keep darkness and root on at all times. Recast splurt when it wears off. With this method and with no resists I can chain pull these and keep at 90% health and 90% mana until the liche spell wears off and has to be recast.

it took my druid about 4 mins to kill it.. it was very very VERY easy kill... just like u druids that use to kill signus boran... try it on this one.. it didn't resist a single spell. place in snare.. then root.. then DOT... sit down and med...I killed this dragon with 4m and full health..

Easy for a druid. =)
ensnare, lvl 49 root, drifting death, rinse and repeat as needed. About the time the ensnare wears off he is about rdy to drop. About 8-9k hp

Spells seem to drop more frequently from these than any other mob in the zone (other than EW/GW/AW)

I'm a lvl 51 wizard and I can't solo these guys...they resist alot and have alot of HP..just a warning to all of you who are Solo'ing the zone
