While it has not exactly been a secret for some time now that we acquired Lucy, we decided today to officially announce it.  Lucy is now located at lucy.allakhazam.com. For those of you who have been using Lucy and are wondering how this affects it, I refer you to Illia's announcement on the front page of that site.  For those of you from here wondering what the heck Lucy is and what it means for your use of this site, I'll give you a brief overview.  Basically, Lucy is a item and spell database that collects the information directly from the Everquest datastream.  This means the information on it about the item stats and spells is completely accurate (Lucy doesn't collect things like drop info, quest info, recipes, etc.).  We're using Lucy to update our database to make it more accurate for you, and have integrated the two databases while keeping them separate.  You will notice that most items now have a direct link to the Lucy entry for the item.  Basically, you now get the advantage of all of our collected information like drops, mobs, merchants, quests and recipes linked to the most accurate stat program available.  The easiest thing to suggest is that you click on it and play around with it a while.

Moreover, there is an added benefit for our premium members.  If you download the Lucy Item Collector and run it while in the game it will update your character profile on our site automatically for you (make sure you go to options and check off save profile).  Thus, there is no more manually keeping your profile updated to use all of the update search tools, the wish list, the online profile, etc.  So that cheap $3.33 a month premium membership now includes an automatically updated Character Profile that also lets you search the database for suggested upgrades specifically tailored to your character and create a wish list of items you want to acquire.  Neat eh?
