Melee cant solo??? Are you feeling ok?? Im a 65 Sk and I solo all over the place.. In natimbi (farming for augs), Fire at tables which is around 16% per kill aa, or if im just bored I go to like PoI, PoD or PoN- not the best exp but real easy and fast.. Yes some forms of casters are better at soloing but thats just because they dont get hit and well they cant get hit cause then theyd be dead.. Saying that only casters can solo and maybe a ranger can solo is just stupid, i dont know what server you play on but obviously its one where ppl have no skill.. BTW, if you think melee cant solo, I soloed Gore and Talendor...

I dont know about rogue, but i know I personnaly can solo with a warrior, and very easily solo with an SK. So rather it may be diffucult to solo my warrior sometimes its still oh so very possiable

Just my 2 cents but i solo xp sometimes. However I cannot solo anything worth ... well anything good. Just small loot and slow xp. But it can be done.

Ok did this item have 30% or 36% haste at one point and then get nerfed down to 26%? I'm asking because on the weekend where they had the GM events that were suppose to be dropping items that no longer drop my monk recieved one of these cloaks. On items like that circle that casts invis in .1 seconds you could tell nerf and prenerf but there would be no way to tell off the bat with a haste item. If anyone knows anything for sure please post...

No, two item hastes can not stack together. You're only going to benefit from the better haste. You can keep the belt for the stats though.

It's an item effect, it doesn't give a crap what level you are. People say recommended level affects the worn effects but I know even that to be total BS as far as I can tell. Anyway the level of haste is set on the item, has nothing to do with who is wearing it...

d00d, thats the "spell" haste(the one a caster would cast), evry haste item has a fixed haste, which is why some items are better then others. for instance, SBC is a haste item with 26% haste.

This only drops from Kor Shamans in Sebilis. No other frog drops this cloak, nor does Trakanon drop it. Just extremely rare. Even more rare than the RBG from Krups.

From what i heard, it drops off normal mobs in seb, not trkanon, trak only drop cloak of piety

I just aquired this cloak tonite from an old guildmate who got Earring of Endless Speed recently and was selling this.(thanks Fanlrone) I was previously usin Silver Chitin Handwraps after banking my Hangman's Noose for a quicker haste ratio. I am usin my Siblisian Berserker Cloak with my Eyepatch of Plunder I aquired thru questing a while back and noticed quite a bit more attacks. The arguements of haste percentage aside, I think this cloak is about as good as it can get for a melee short of the super high lvl zones like Vex Thall and TOV. The stats are incredible for melees and I get 100 hps from it after the 9 stamina bonus is added to the 50 hps it has. I will use this cloak if and until I get an upgrade in haste percentage and I will prob still wear this just for the stats. Earring of Endless speed is next on my list. On Vallon you can buy this for half the price of COCW or COF's. My best advice to tanks is take advantage of this cloak if you come across it being auctioned and have the coin. It will not disappoint you in any way.

A real monk can solo the blue ones in that zone so give it a shot Pal.

This is Mogar level 60 warrior. I had a CoF and an awsome freind of mine Alissya (level 60 enchantres) looted and gave this SBC to me today. I can tell you that the SBC is IMO faster than the CoF. This is a damn good Cloak.

10% less haste means nothing to a bard who can always hit and exceed the haste cap. Plus that also means we'll still be bellow agro vs. the MT but it has enough haste to keep us above the clerics and chanters. So yea, that 10% haste makes a big difference.

Locoluk is a lozer. I had to kill him 3 times before he admitted I was stronger. lool. Yeah the SBC does drop randomly. I saw one of a Kor and another off Trak, then yet another off a Krup. I would say the Krup drop is rarer, since we killed about 200 within a month and saw only 1. Haste is now fully tested to be between 28-32 percent. Worth about 15k on TZ.

Yep, Kor Shaman dropped one today too, I didn't win it though :/ A ranger upgraded his Lizardscale cloak to this fine item, that's fine with me.. Better that someone needing item wins than this chanter, would've sold it anyways :)

I participated in a GM event in Steamfont on 23 June 2001. I was the only person around when the event started and helpd kill Meldrath for the NPCs. I was called out and awarded this cloak for my services. It is definitely faster than the FBSS I was using.

You are sadly mistaken friend, this cloak has been rewarded at GM events. There was a raid at the west commonlands druid ring of some lvl 50ish Quest characters a few weeks ago. After a long battle and many deaths. This item was dropped by one of them, along with other stuff. So don't go slamming people down. You were not there so how do you know he's lying? Don't hate him for being lucky enough for getting this item and not you. I'm sure you're the kind of person who despises that lvl 30ish guy or gal who got a title for helping Firiona Vie in Lesser Faydark when Cazic Thule came for a visit. Maybe one day you'll be lucky enough to stumble upon an event like this, but I'm sure most of us hope you're on the other side of the world, doing a corpse run into Seb or Lguk.

This is among the most desirable cloaks for a melee, even more so then CoF, why? Because at 50+ you will hit haste cap with either and this has better stats by far.

Actually with Speed of the Shissar (most common haste on raids) you still need 34% haste to hit cap, so this will not cap you while a CoF will.

I traded my RBG for one with some other items... its noticeably faster. I have always heard RBB is faster but tried a RBB on as well, i think they both sit at 30% and RBG is 26-27ish.
As for the frogs, they have well over 5k. It would take me forever to solo one. And thats with SBC/Lam/Frostbringer.

I agree with this, was camping the exit last night and this dropped off one of the froggies. Can't remember exactly which one but damn was i excited. Unfortunately as a druid I was not as high up the NBG list. In the end it went to a bard /rude bards ;)
If you ask me need before greed is a nice way of saying that you came to this camp/zone wanting to get a certain dropable item and now you want other people to give up their chance to get the item because you think you deserve it more. The only fair way to distribute loot in a group is everyone using the same random number generator algorithm to see who gets the highest or lowest or whatever number and EVERYONE rolls on ALL droppable items unless someone wants to be nice and bow out on the roll themselves. Any other method is biast in someway and therefore less fair...

That's on lvl 55- mobs though, and there's a 10% difference between the logs i have made so this number is only an average one.
I drop a kor shaman solo in 1min20 to 1min40, which gave them 2K7 HP approx.
No more than 3k anyway.
And trust me, since i've read that they drop this cloak, everytime i'm LFG (which happen too often to my taste) and i see one up, i gank it.

1159 (sofd + focus bracer) damage does about 23-25% on anything lower than krups except Bok knights (only 18%-20%). On the krups it does around 8-10% but haven't tested it enough yet to really say a solid percent. on wizards it could be around 12%-15%, which puts the hp on the lower ranked mobs (dar, jin, kor, bok) 6-8k, and the krups 10-12k. 16k, not unless some uber buffs are on that mob. 2-3k, only a newbie who has no clue would say that.
