Container Tokens
For those that don't know, there is a person in Crescent Reach that does the same thing. The name is Realnyna and is found at about -1344, -1351, -87, right by the bankers. All of her responses seem to be exactly the same as Caerlyna when you hail, turn in a bag, or turn in a token.

Also turn in the yellow, orange, red, etc. trader's satchels and get a coin too. I was fiddling around the other day wondering if since she would accept the hand-made colored bp's would she accept the matching trader's satchels and sure enough, she did :)
9 more new tokens have been added. You can now turn in:
Red Hand Made Backpack
Orange Hand Made Backpack
Yellow Hand Made Backpack
Green Hand Made Backpack
Blue Hand Made Backpack
Dark Blue Hand Made Backpack
Purple Hand Made Backpack
Black Hand Made Backpack
White Hand Made Backpack

Ever since the newest expansion was released, I have yet to see anybody selling these Leatherfoot Haversacks in the bazaar. Does anybody know if they've altered the recipe or deleted the possibility of creating these bags?

Just tried to turn in a Large Soiled Bag for a token to give to my alt, and Caerlyna would not accept the bag. My Rallic Pack was able to be tokenized, but for some reason she wouldn't take the Large Soiled Bag. If anyone else can confirm, maybe this page should be updated to reflect

The npc that you turn the tokens into is now in the 1st part of the bazaar by all the merchants the name is still the same

What are you supposed to do with these tokens that you get?
In the bazaar, people sell these rather than the bags themselves since you can't put the actual bags inside your trader's satchel.
You only live once, but once is enough if you do it right.

this quest for tokens does now work with GoD bags... I did Hynid 10slot bag other day.

After unsuccessfully selling my hynid-hide backpacks in POK for 10 mins (impatient), I decided to check out the GOD bag check situation. Latest news was that the token service did not work with GOD era bags (Hynid, Cragbeast), but to my joy, it now does. I took it to Miss Caerlyna in front of the central Bazaar building as directed by this post, and she kindly gave me tokens in return :)

any idea if this will work with the reinforced satchel of abukar? the one u obtain by buying the CD for GoD, its like 10-slot giant size 50% weight reduc, anyone tried turning that in?

The Reinforced Satchel of Abukar is from LDoN expansion, and its no drop. So no, you can't turn it in.

Do we know if this works with Gates tailored bags yet ? The ones made with Hynid & Cragbeast hides...
Not yet. I've added a note to the quest to that effect.
As shown at other place here, GoD bags can be tokenized now.
Unfortunately, the NPC still won't swap No Trade bags (like Fabled or Abu-Kar satchels) into token because they are NoDrop.

how does what one find out what a travelers pouch and travelers pack are? Only listing I can find here is for those 2 items in token form :(
go to items search, and type in traveler.
anyone tried this with NO DROP bags? still get a token or a no drop token?
The Token for a NoTrade bag should also be NoTrade.
But it seems you won't get any token for a NoTrade satchel, even for better storing that in your bank :(

That way you can see the stats on the bags just like the other items. Would also seem to be a lot easier to program the game to do this rather that the dumb token idea.
This would be a massive undertaking near impossible without an entire game rewrite, it would take years to do. bags are not items they're containers. When the game was created there was no bazaar and making one wasnt even thought of yet. It similar to the zone issue, today our systems can handle nearly limitless zones and never need to zone at all but at the time the game was made it wasnt possible to build it like that so it wasnt set up to be that way or to be "fixed" so we dont have to zone.

First of all they have already written in the code to tell if a bag is empty or full, and make it no drop if it has no drop items in it. It would take a simple rewrite of- if bag status= empty blah blah blah else blah blah.
The problem with this is that people would be moving their empty bags into trader satchels so they could have an item such as JBoots or Staff of Temperate Flux in a main slot.
The thing about loading everything at once is moronic. As it is, you load the entire zone minus the players when you zone in. That is why it takes people with slow computers longer to zone. People with fast computers and a slow connection still load around the same time as people with fast computers and a fast connection. Instead of loading for say 3 minutes a zone, when you log your character on you would loading for over an hour to get every zone up and operational. Not to mention the fact that the servers could not handle it. As it is, in the elemental planes when more than 100 people are in a zone it creates major lag. If you want to have EVERYONE on a server, including those in the bazaar, in the same zone, then you're going to have server crashes every 5 minutes.

Rallic tokens are lore...So stacking for the HMBP would be great but Rallic tokens are 1 at a time...

What a great idea. Now people do not have to walk around /ooc'ing WTS Rallic Pack or WTS Handmade Backpack... but you know people still will.

Why? The bags never were. :P Just be glad they can GO in containers now, and gripe about something usefull that wlill help them sell, like the right click info on the token containing the container stats. hehe Now THAT would be an improvement.

The reason it would make sense that they could stack, is that they are TOKENS. In the past, I always kept a stack of HQ pelts, and a stack of patterns, and made the backpacks to order. Its a lot easier to carry 20 backpacks worth around as 2 stacks, rather than as 20 slots.
If I can stack 20 4.0 wt pelts, in onse slot of my backpack, why shouldn't I be able to stack 20 coins in the same space.
I'll have to admit its a huge boon for the rallic farmers, as they can now make one, turn it in for a token, make another, etc...
And honestly, I'd rather have stackable, than listed stats, since its pretty darned easy to find out the stats on a bag. But in an ideal world, maybe they will do both.

Stacking would lead to even greater glut on the market though as it enabled folks to mass produce.
And pelts weren't always stackable, be glad you can do that now *lol*
I'm going to feedback in game about the description of the pack's stats on the token, I think that'd be an excellent addition!
