I just picked up a pair of these the other day now making my set pretty much complete. I have to say that now that the AC has been adjusted, I think I like the Golden Efreeti Boots better. First off because with a decent Aug they can add to the stats and second for the Enhancement Haste 2. Maybe it's just me, but I really noticed a difference in cast time (Which is essential for a Druid) when I put on the Elysian boots. My casts were much slower. Sure I like the increased AC but I like the quicker cast time with the Efreeti Boots. Am I nuts??

Lots of armor is left of corpses from groups who dont need,keep your /ooc unfiltered or you may miss chance for free gear.(like this)

Ac 13 now with 4 wisdom and 25 mana, otherwise unchanged.

Man I'd be PISSED if I owned some of these boots and the AC dropped from 24 to 13.
OK fine they needed to be "adjusted", although maybe not so severely. BUT.
I can't believe Verant was so clueless about this and other Luclin Items i.e Longsword of Ethereal Energy before they released SOL, and now suddenly they've acquired wisdom. They are yanking us around.
It happens EVERY expansion. There's a big gold rush when it comes out, which they seem to precipitate INTENTIONALLY. They are NOT clueless. It makes them money. People say OMG lookit this stuff that dropping!!! and everybody goes out and buys the expansion.
Then there's the aftermath.
For all their bull#$%t about doing things like this horrendous nerf "for the betterment of the game", they are putting profit ahead of betterment, or they wouldn't have put items like this in the expansion release. I am just not buying their explanation that they made hundreds of balancing mistakes on whole lines of items, over and over again, every release. WE are not stupid either.

How much does a Druid need AC?
I had well over 1k ac and it didn't help me in the high end zones i hunt in with my guild. So i'm pretty please with the elysian pieces i wear (tunic and crown).
I'll gladly lose 16ac in exchange for the 3 extra wis and +8 to all saves they added to the bp. Now i'm around 950ac with potg.
GL to any druids going into Umbral with a small group, but those looking to solo there need even more luck / skill.

Dam "Fallen soldiers summon" why didnt i read this post 2 days ago :-)
Do anyone know if the corrupted elder summon too? I didnt dare pulling it yesterday while i had the chance. Would have been a long fight if i had pulled him anyway i heard he has 100k hp....thats a lont of times you have to apply winged death :-)

Not only does he summon, he casts some pretty high druid spells. I wouldn't go near him without a good group backing you up.
AC seems a bit high, prolly nerfed in the last patch as one of the AC changes

I love always finding a new good druid item. I just wish i didn't have to set around going well its good but Man i wouldn't give up wis for that.
