Wand of Imperceptibility  

 

Just got mine and drop rate seems to be every 6 to 6 and 1/2 hours. Had my mage there ready to coth me when I zoned in after he dropped the wand and its a no coth zone like plane of nightmare so had to run and by the time I got there the corpse poofed so sat a lil over 6 more hours and he dropped another for me, be patient when camping him he will eventually drop it for you.

I am a necromancer on The Rathe, first named spawn he dropped 10/9/11 2:17 pm central

Was in the zone snagging drop for my monks epic 2.0, after getting that drop, ran over to spawn spot, named was up, killed him, he dropped wand. Not sure if just got damned lucky, or they changed drop rate.

Ok, started out fresh from working on no sleep. After raids, decided I was getting the wand. Went there, and due to being tired..missed the invisible bridge not once..but TWICE. Went back the third time. Some see invis..but i just basically killed my way back. Was invised only because I wanted to go to bed..lol
After getting back there, theres a tunnel right before pop area. I killed all the Thought Horrors in it. As i got back to the pop area, there was a Thought Horror on either side of the blue rock. I killed those and the one in front. After a few moments, Koxiux the Imperceptible popped. I killed him, and the wand dropped.
Am taking a guildie there later, and will come back and give names of the mobs in the tunnel.

Went to the spawn point for this mob 3 separate times, was up everytime i checked for it, dropped 2 wands out of the 3 kills, I imagine it's not too hard to get.

started at 9am eastern. got wand around 1pm. i got 5 spawns in that time frame. spawn seemed to vary unless im mistaken. 15-18 min it seemed like. 4 cloaks, 1 wand.

I just farmed this for my cleric and wifes chanter and after reading some of the others posts I feel pretty lucky. I don't know if anyone has posted this before but word of warning. If one of the mobs gets away on low health they will not stop after going just so far away. They will continue to roam around the tunnels and effectively bring every mob your way. After killing around 30 that trained in 4 and 5 at a time I camped to remove aggro. A lot of you proly know this but this is just for the ones who may not.

I just set a timer for 15 min each time after a kill and watched TV or killed other mobs in the area till repop. I camped around 5 hours total after getting to the place.

Day two..

a good 6 hours now spent logging in and killing the PH, logging back out to save buffs..

...bout 12 hours now, 2 cloaks...no wand...

Spent about 1.5 hrs there killing mobs around the area. I only killed the namer twice to get the wand. Guess I got lucky.

75 Cleric - Xegony

I keep hearing everyone say they camp here for hours to get their wand. I must've gotten damned lucky, because I went there and he was already up. Whacked everything around him with my 75 monk and he dropped the wand. Took all of 5 minutes. Actually, it look longer to walk there than to get the wand itself. Good luck to the rest.

Finally got my shrink wand, after about 11 Koxiux spawns (10 cloaks) and 14 Placeholders over serveral hours spread out over a few days.

Finally leaving a camp after hours and hours is a great feeling, and you tell yourself "i'm not going back there for a looooooong time".. and then people start asking you to take them to The Deep so they can get a shrink wand as well.

So it looks like i'll be back at the Koxiux camp very soon.

lvl 75 necro... walked in NO SI took north route. He was up and guildies where giving me crap about it saying he wasnt gonna drop it.. needless to say 1 kill 1 wand woot. took a whole 4 min getting there/killing the 4-5 mobs around him CAKE for necro my rank 2 rune didnt even drop off me

This thing is outdated. The earring works from inventory, casts MUCH faster, and most importantly, YOU CAN SHRINK YOUR GROUPMATES/PETS WITH IT.

Drops off any mob killed in the 68.4 mission which is easy. You don't have to even win the mission, just kill mobs like you were grinding exp.

well due to my extrodanary luck at getting drops, First drop off first spawn after Place holder...that means total time....25 mins getting to spawn point...5 mins killing all the mobs there. 10 mins respawn. he pops I loot total time 45 mins

I've been wanting this wand for the longest time now, but after reading the stories of how long the spawn times are and how rare a drop it is... I have been dreading it. So, I walk in to the Deep this morning with a friend about 5am est time. We get to Koxiux's camp and he's not up.. so thinking yeah.. this is gonna take awhile.. we kill 1 round of mobs... repops start.. and boom there's Koxiux.. and guess what he's holding.. lol. Needless to say, I spent 5 minutes camping him... :-)

Well im so happy for u on your crazy good luck. BUT i myself have been here since 12:30 AM -8AM non stop killing and killed the cycle a good 20X easy. NO WAND. So no, sony has not nerfed this, its still a long crappy wait, im still camping it

Been at this camp for about 8 hours today, had a stretch of 6 hours of only PH, then 3 Koxiux back to back, each one dropping cloak. I'm hoping for a wand soon, but I'm expecting another stretch of PHs...

Edit: 2 cycles after posting he popped and dropped the wand. Many expletives were shouted in happiness.

Camped the wand last night for 7 hours with named popping only twice. Dropped cloak both times. Camped at the end of the hall and went to bed. Came back today and a 70 Monk was just leaving. I assumed that he got the wand. Broke camp, 1st round, named popped and dropped the wand. Sat around talking in guild chat when the camp started repopping. Named spawned again and dropped another wand for my Drood that I was boxing. So, named can pop two times in a row and can drop wands back to back. Also shows that its just a matter of timeing.

i have become rather cross that you can not shrink gnomes

For raiding guilds this thing would rock. Though its a pain in the **** to get. This guy doesn't always show up and it's his rare. I would love it so I don't have to worry about recharging or using two charges, for that matter, of the anizok's shrinking device. Infinite clicks of shrink with no recharge = peace of mind on raids and time and money saved.

It's a normal shrink spell. Same rules apply as with normal shrink/grow etc.. Fades when you go under Illusions or zone.
