Please remember to say the zone the NPC was in, just in case it exists in more than one place. (For example, this NPC may exist in two places on progression servers until the Nurga/Droga revamp hits... depending on how that is handled on the server).

Working on my cudgels. Have heard the stopped dropping off rockchanters then started off stonechanters in nurga. Nurga underwent a mojor revamp, and is now a 50-65 zone. The stonechanters and rockchanters were moved to FM. I've been out here killing goblins by the hundreds, lost count of XXXchanters... not a single chant rock. Anyone have any suggestions?

Chant rocks are dropping at the Burynai Mines at -1822 x +1757, had 4 or 5 drop while trying to track down Chief Ruk'Gus. Hope this helps

Got all 3 also last week while camping Penkeeper and Penmaster in Frontier Mts.

i got one while hunting after they revamped the zones in FM so yeah they still exist got off rockchanter

I was waltzing around Nurga working on the cudgel quest and found several rockchanters. I saw a ton more in Droga but none of them dropped any chant rocks. However, this was merely days before the 7/10/03 patch that revamped these two zones. Now they are both 50+ zones or so. For this quest from now on, I would suggest fighting the rockchanters in Frontier Mountains to get the drop. I did get my chant rock off of a rockchanter in Nurga, so they exist...at least until 7/10/03.
