Master Wu's Trance Stick  

 

Ok, so i went to CoM and spent 7 hrs clearing the zone repeatedly, going up into the towers, catwalks, etc-no luck. I had heard they only drop from the "ghost" models in the zone,so i tried that for a bit, only killing the ghosts, and nothing. Made a ton of cash though, between the gem and defiant drops, so i bought the one that was on sale in the bazaar for 2k:)

I was slaughtering mobs in CoM last night, and a Master Wu's Trance Stick dropped off of a wraith (City of Mist). The wraith was up the little water area between the pyramid and the stables.

What lvl does this proc at could someone please put up a post or send either zama or nicka a tell... thanks

Had one drop today in CoM. Looks like a stick, not a mace, althought not sure what it looks like when worn (i am a necro).

I have one of these, it doesn't look like a mace as shown in the picture, it's a stick. I'll send a picture when I get home :)

to Test this theory My friend and I Same lvl with almost identicle gear decided to duel each other KD/KD vs WU/WU...I must say He got me down to 10hp he still had half his health and our skilz are exaclty the same as well...nough said ehee.

In my opinion These Wu stix are just plain booty. I just lvl'd 35 and i have a dex of 154 geared up. In my first 5 fight with this thing it procd like 3times. Since then maybe once or twice every 3 fights if im lucky and to top it all off sometimes it procd for minimal dmg like 5's and 10's. IMO this thing just plain out stinks. I cant wait to get rid of it and get something better.

I read all these posts, then log in, play in DL, CoM, TT, and all these other zones, and notice something. Most people who play monks have a serious problem. I say most because I play one, and never seem to have this problem I am about to discuss. The problem is that once you break the 40th level barrier you run into mobs that can double for 100+, and to a monk this is bad news. I have tried every single weapon combo feasible and have noticed that when I am DW anything, and I mean anything that mana consumption for healing my monk alone is very inefficient. Solution, 2hb, now why am I putting this on the Trance Stick post? Because I have used them, double, single with fist, with JM, with SoS, you name it. Here is why I suggest 2hb... It makes chain-pulling smoother, and what is everyone in the game after?...levels...regardless of your damage output it boils down to levels, and the way to level is get into an area with plentiful mobs and chain them until your cleric passes out. While dualwielding monks attract unwanted attention, and now you say "So FD!"...here is my answer to that, no don't attract that attention in the first place. Once I hit 42 my h2h and 1hb were above 200, well I decided to continue instead with focusing on 2hb. I noticed that I could now solo blues, because I was hitting alot harder, at 42, with buffs in group I was hitting doubles for 120+, sometimes I had to FD, but almost immediately aggro was reacquired by the tank and I jumped back up and dropped another 500 or so on the mob before I had to hit the dirt again. Why was the Exquisite Velium Brawl Stick made? For some roody-poo Warrior or maybe a cleric, no IT WAS MADE FOR A MONK. A test of this theory is to look at the 2hb weaps available to monks, then figure in the damage bonus, like I said with a stinking Baton of Faith I was doubling for 120+. Learn to play a monk CORRECTLY before posting some idiocy that you fantasized up. Trance is a great weapon, if and only if, you find yourself in one of 2 situations...1 You get one to drop and you are using your hands only, and 2 If you are playing anything other than a monk and get one to drop while in a cash deficit. And I will put my theory to the test on TP server anytime with a duel, you hit me 6 times for 7-30 with a lucky proc in there and I hit you 3 times for 300+, trust me you WILL run for zone, unless of course you like the solitude of a Corpse Run. Hehe, and this ain't even a flame, just the facts ma'am, just the facts.

hehe nevermind .. i just bought TWO of them for 2.5k :).

Ok an iksar berserker club is now worth 500pp and it has the same dly/dmg and master wu's trance stick is worth 3k.Is the proc smite really worth 2.5k?

i have failed to see anybody mention at what lvl does this thing proc?????

ok question i am a new lvl 1 monk iksar ad i had to change from my original 36 warrior because he got #$^&$# up and gm said to make new guy , well by the lvl 30 i realized how much better monks are so i decided i would make one. any suggestions on KD or stick? i have 4600 in bank xev server i think sticks are 5k and i was in gfay today and saw KD for 4k

I agree, the proc is too random to make it worth the small damage it gives. 7...c'mon. It's good to sell to an ignorant monk and buy something better like a kd.

I have a wu stick in my primary and have 125 dex but the proc seems too random to be a very effective weapon. one fight it procs 3 or 4 time then I might go 1 or 2 fight with only 1 proc. It just doesn't seem to be very reliable when you depend on the proc to make up for the weak dmg on this thing

Just thought that you all might want to know that in inventory it now looks like a cracked staff.

Ok, I think Shadow gets the most votes, can anyone CONFIRM what does and does not drop this?

Drops off of A Shadow, not nay mob.
