Tinkering is a trade skill which will not prevent the mobs from hitting you.
I am feeling very betrayed right now.

I'm so confused...
The Rathe server
Later I was surprised that my Halfling Ranger could use this, but it seems that Halflings and Gnomes (at least) can now use this very decent weapon. Someone needs to update this information.
The AC and resists are very nice even though the weapon is pretty slow. I really need to save for a haste item, then I'll be set.

Can anyone verify this or were these people messing with me? It had been dropped on the 6th floor but I had heard rumors that it was also seen on the 4th.
Any information is greatly appreciated

This is unclear to me! As a Barbarian your base STA must be 100+, so You don't need Invigor, you won't see any diiference in your attack if your STA bar stays at zero for every fight you are in. It is only a factor if STA is below 100, which I doubt yours is.
No doubt this is still a good wpn, but basically a 2 handed Wurmslayer, same ratio, and the saves are minimal. If you got dual wield, get a Wurm and anything else, you will do more damage to the mob.
Just thought I would throw my 2cp in.
Thanks, peace out.

I'd also like to point out that every character who is able to use this (with the possible exception of the races that were added to the list of those able to use this axe after the above screenshot was taken) should have a base STA > 100 (Troll, Ogre, Barbarian, Human, and Dwarf Warriors, Paladins, ShadowKnights, and Rangers).
So, if a base STA > 100 really means that an empty stamina bar can be ignored, then having invigor as a proc on this axe was always a waste (unless you made some bad decisions when creating your character).
I suspect that the benefits of having a base STA > 100 are exagerated, but I cannot confirm this.

I am glad the rotten little stumps are finally getting some downsides... This is not intended as a flame, well maybe a little, but, I have to say... in a year and a half, I have yet to meet a halfling that was worth a damn. Not saying they do not exist, but every single one I have met was as worthwhile as a tissue paper umbrella...
My troll is too big to fit in any dungeon! My Halfling cannot use this weapon! My iksar cannot wear plate!
We pick them, we stick with them, we deal with it.

Btw, this is according to starting strengths without points added and totally naked etc.
Do you think of a halfling when you think of a big 2 handed weapon using warrior? A halfling is more like a lil quick bundle of energy with a couple lil pig stickers. The race is even more suited to being a rogue than a warrior.
It isn't that halfings are getting "the shaft" but rather that verant is designing things that make sense and add more roleplay value. I guess people are just upset because they are doing so rather late.
You don't see half elf, high elf, wood elf or erudite on it either. Some things are not just for every race.

And why does it say "kunark required: yes"
on stuff like this? You could have scars and only old EQ and not need kunark at all.
OH NM, obviously the person meant that to be velious required.
Sending a correction now ;)
