While farting around in East Cabilis after maxing out Cabilis factions I found this guy not to be in the mob list. Location +135, -112, 0. I had to use Sneak to place an order with him, so I believe he may be either on Scaled Mystic(leaning this way) or Brood of Kotiz faction. Some of the alchemy vendors in west cab are same way; I believe several vendors are on Scaled Mystic or Brood of Kotiz faction as opposed to the Cabilis Residents. I guess someone does not want passers by wandering in to pick up a few Water Flasks or foodstuffs.

After a lot of searching I finally found the ldon npc. You need to look for Zauz Malgorne in order to get the preflag. There is another ldon npc in east cabilis if Zauz doesn't work for you.
Master Glox. He is for the monk iksar epic and he drops a Potion of Escape and the mark of agility.

There's a "New" NPC Merchant in the SK/shaman guild named Zreezas, sells Beastlord spells and also seems to be involved in a quest.
Any ideas on what this quest can be ?

Happens that the wife's iksar beastlord was in Cabilis today looking for the new quest. She says Zreezas has been there for awhile and was always hard to get to (stupid ladder) but she never tried talking to her before.
We think this is the new quest. She can get a response to the first couple of statements, but then comes to a prompt that involves [name] and can't figure out the proper question. Has tried all the basic what name type replies and gets no response. Zreezas says to search out spiritual areas.
The wife is going to clean out her log file and send it to the moderators to be included in the Quests section. Hopefully someone can get further with this.

in the year 2000 I started off as a iksar monk in Cabilis east, before I was gonna go to field of bone I decided to go to the bank, I saw two iksar corpses named Lewis in front of the two bankers, then I went out of bank and I saw another iksar corpse named lewis that was laying on a tent, then I saw another on the bridge, then I saw a path of his corpses leading to the Field of bone entrance! I was gonna give him a tell why he kept killing himself but he wasnt online. Ive been playing eq everyday but I never seen him on. I think he was being a idiot so he decided to kill himself alot then deleted it.
Probably he was laying a trace to show young Iksar the fastest way to the newbie exp zone. :P

Or he was laying a trace for himself. The map function wasn't in back then, and Cabilis can be very confusing.
New npc in zone? Has anyone run across this npc? She gives a quest, apparently for the sceptre she is holding. Gives you a bag, and a cheat sheet with clues to ten items she needs.... any info on this, or should I try to be the first to solve this possibly new quest?

maybe this will mean with verant and SOE working on kunark(veksar) they will finally give us iksars so damn noob armor. i am sick of being basicly naked or with no extra stats till like 20. I WANT DAMN NOOB ARMOR!

It's not really newb armor worthy, but try Klok Mugruk. It's wearable by all but necs. Now, Iksar get progressive weap (or armor) quests. These are so good that the SK one is considered the alter epic. Maybe someday they'll update warrior ones so that those can be seen as such...
Vyng outside the ent to FoB is making new patterned robes, got the robe pattern by stating "i need the pattern", but cannot get the book for the processes? he states it's for some coin, gave some cp but no response, will try more coins

Where the hell are the bandages sold in this city? I went to every single vendor in East Cabilis and FoB and I never saw one Bandage. If anyone has some information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Any Iksar that gets killed in his town is obviously played by someone who can't operate a spoon properly.
The only way you can really die is if you turn auto attack on when your trying to type but forgot to hit enter (And we all have done that, don't lie to yourself)
I mean really, wtf did you do to become KoS? I wasn't even KoS after my guild took out the Ench Epic mob in the sewer, and that faction hit was HUGE. I went from ally to indiff with one mob.
And even if you are KoS, Cabilis factions can be raised by killing most mobs on Kunark. Gobbies, Naks, Forsaken faction iksars, Frogloks ect.
Now this flaming post isnt directed towrard the post below it. I'm just getting sick of ppl shouting about in in Cab.
I also hate ppl begging me for money. Cause I never have any.

I've been doing the bone chip quest for some time now with my ogre sk (cazic thule). When I noticed that my faction with crusaders was apprehensive I figured that I could go train at the SK guild or buy spells since I could already use the bank in Cabilis. I run through the shamen guild and take the port up to where the SK guild trainers are without a problem. The trainers wouldn't have anything to do with me. I decided to walk into the room with the ladder to get up to the guild master and BOOM......"you have recieved 1011 points of non melee damage. You loose control of your self (feared). You loose control of yourself again. You have recieved 1011 points of non melee damage. You have been slain by Lord Gikzik." Needless to say one of those guys didn't like me and decided to make my level 48 butt look like a fool. I was killed so fast that I'm not quite sure who started attacking me. I really don't think it was a shamen that started it since I ran right through their room without any agro. Maybe it was the librarian dude up by the SK guild master. Anyone know if he is a necro?

Just for info, I think the soul binger is more of like an IN game item. Its not like you can really... do much with him. I think hes more like if there was a magical spring that healed you or something. I dont think hes an actuall npc. but its always fun to say

OK I heard that Dark elf SK's have it the easiest over in Cabilis now I m curious if a dark elf cleric would have to work harder or do the same to get in

All Iksar worship casic thule, so if you worship the lord of fear, you should have less problems than one who worships, for example, tunare. This does NOT mean, however, that it is easy to do so. It still takes many gruling hours killing sarnak and goblins and iksar bandits/maruaders to be no longer KOS in cab.

I was running through cab and out of the corner of my eye. I saw a guy on the bridge in the middle of cab. His name is hierophant Granix and i didnt see him on the creature list. Does anyone know who this guy is? He was talking about howling stones. And if you use the Phrase

hes for the 7th crudgel quest...btw if your turning in bone chips for faction and are above 50 go hunt veksar and turn in the weapons and if below 50 and no care about fv faction do the explorer knife quest in loio

Sai i am ready for the test of agility to grand master glox and he ports you into a room with Master Glox only way out i think is gate or kill him for potion
LISTEN ALL NEWB PPL: the fishes and animals are under the docks. the SOULBINDER CANNOT AND I REPEAT CANNOT be killed. Enchanters: some crusaders/ NPC's SEE THRU ILLUSIONS and i know this because outside i saw a lvl 55 chanter get raped by one lol. Yes DO NOT attack the guards lol because FYI they are prolly the strongest NPC guards for a city in the game. The zones go in this order from where to start and lvls:
the Field of Bone:1-20
Lake of Ill Omen:20-38 ( yes u can get to 28 i soloed here for very good xp at fort)
Warsliks Woods:20-35
Frontier Mtns:30-40
Dreadlands:40-50
Karnors Castle: 50+ (inside the Dreadlands zone)
Rest of the zones 50+
the Field of Bone:1-20

Not entirely accurate... no NPCs can see thru an iksar illusion. However, they do know your class and religion, and that can still cause you problems. Especially with Scaled Mystics, who are the shamans, beastlords, and Crusader Quarg (despite being a SK he is on Scaled Mystics, not Crusaders of Greenmist). If you follow a non-evil deity (including being agnostic) you will never be able to get off of being KOS to this faction. This faction also hates any caster besides necromancers.
So if your an agnostic enchanter with iksar illusion, they see you as an agnostic iksar enchanter... which for the shaman guild and Crusader Quarg is enough to get you killed, even if they don't think you're a softskin.
Crusader Quarg, by the way, is a level 50 shadowknight, and can harm touch for 700 damage...

Not true. My husband's Quellious following monk is currently dubious to them. It just takes some work.

This must be some kind of bug.. The soulbinder cons green to me at lvl 25... i'd assume he cons green to much lower levels... so i start atttacking him and i just start whaling on him... he doesnt fight back except for every 3 minutes or so he'll punch one time... but that's it
... otherwise I just sit there attacking constantly, but i never see his health go down at all....
As of now it appears to be a great way to practice attack skills (1hs, 1hb, etc) and certain spells that he's not immune to....
Can anyone clarify what the deal is and if other soulbinders elsewhere are the same?

Hey, I noticed that the soulbinder conned green to my monk in upper-teens. Id pay to see someone try and take him out.
They've since made the soulbinders unkillable... in fact, you can't even really attack them. They have no hit pooints to lose, you can't damage them in any way, and they won't fight you. Verant really went through a lot of trouble to avoid the nuisance of people killing the soulbinders...
By the way, don't even TRY to attack Nexus Scions... they can punch for over 2000 damage. Unlike the soulbinders, they're theoretically killable... but like merchants, it's probably not worth the effort.

For anyone who needs a bind in the city, there is a Soulbinder next to the bank behnid the brewing barrel. Simply hail and ask him to 'bind my soul' and your affinty is set.
