This task begins with Lady Carolline of Thex in Northern Felwithe. She is located at 0, -170 (on the balcony overlooking the entrance: you can use the Find Feature, CTRL+F, to get to her).



Initiating the Task

You say, 'Hail, Lady Carolline of Thex'

Lady Carolline of Thex smiles, trying to hide an obvious air of sadness, 'Greetings adventurer, such a lovely day isn't it?' The pained look on her face clearly gives away that something is [wrong].

You say, 'What's wrong?'

Lady Carolline of Thex says 'Wrong? Oh, nothing really. My beloved is off again on some [excursion] and has yet to return. I'm quite sure he will be fine though. How I miss our adventures together, the time we would spend exploring the hidden beauty of Norrath. We were especially fond of [Antonica].'

You say, 'Why were you fond of Antonica?'

Lady Carolline of Thex says 'A lovely land, despite the efforts of humans to ruin it...' The Koada`Dal's smile becomes more sincere. 'Lake Rathetear, oh the [stories] I could share of moonlit nights sitting on the docks. The noble aviaks keeping ardent guard over the sacred flame, the sunken towers and legend of the Megalodon...' She sighs and looks up to the sky.'

You say, 'What stories could you share?'

Lady Carolline of Thex blinks and looks back to you, her demeanor changing. 'Tell you what stranger, you come up with an [interesting tale] to distract me from my boredom, and I'll see if I can find something to [reward] you for your effort.'

You say, 'What reward would that be?'

Lady Carolline of Thex says 'Hmm, already pondering your riches before the effort of imagination? I suppose not many adventurers care to put any effort into their journeys these days.' The young high elf sighs. 'Anyway, what you will be rewarded with is something befitting a _____ such as yourself.'

You say, 'I have an interesting tale to tell'

Lady Carolline of Thex says, 'Something grand, truly epic and interesting! Just let me know when you've thought of a suitable story.'

.....has a great write up on this quest for final. I would like to add that during the part where you hail the rogue NPC and he advises you to put doubt in the NPCs at the campfire you do nothing just stay invis. the NPCs chat ,shatter the rune and leave and the rogue does not return as he says. Once they leave find Reivax Odrachir and run through chat to pop the final task as listed on eqresource. . Took me several trys before I completed this last part of the quest. I used merc until last round so it maybe possible merc could bug not sure. My husband assisted me with his DE mage on maintaining the pallies agro to complete this part. During the quest I zoned into west Freeport for update at the arcane of science building a Small Dolerite Shard popped on my cursor and an emote to return when I completed the quest. I did return and apparently it opened a 6 person expedition which I have not done yet. I looked up the shard. If you return to Jaggedpine Forest in the upper west corner just past the blocked off section by the river you find pillars that look like possible druid port. I just completed this part, it took a few tries but here's the order I did it in to complete it. (if you use Drazzminius map coordinates it may be easier to follow)

1 (central room) - Hollow Man - cast any damage spell on him he turns into a skull, follow the text, High Guard Ashfield spawns and attacks. When he dies a water elemental attacks, kill it.

2 (north east room) - A Sundered Traveler - Say Beza when you get close to the remains. Follow his text, he'll do some casting bits on the rune and leave the building were you'll find Inquisitor Malvol, kill her.

3 (east room) - You should find Inquisitor Edan, and two others at a seal. Go through Edan's text, two NPC's will roam off (don't let them go too far), kill them. Then kill Edan.

4 (south east) **mem any fear before you start this** Conscripted Ice Giant - Hail the giant, go through his text. A "facily dressed bard" will show up (he was slightly delayed at times, you should hear his 8 bit sound track and he shows up). Hail him and go through his text. He ends up with six giants chasing him and he's literally trying to train you. Cast snare on him, then imediately feign, the giants will turn on him for a second. Each time they take 10% of his life, you'll have to do this about 5 times. The giants despawn and he'll be in the room with Silna Songsmith. Have your pet tank her, cast fear on her and she'll smack the bard. Do this four times (Silna resisted my fear a couple of times). At 10% he surrenders, there a giant gnome, enjoy the show....move on.

5 (south middle'ish) - You're looking for Reivax Odrachir, hail him, follow his text, let him go.

6 (south middle west'ish) - Find Projection of Inte, hail him, follow his text, let him go.

7 (west most room) **I used my pet AND a tank merc for this part, have at least one of each type of spell mem'd poison, fire, desease, snare, alteration** Sulon McMoor is there. Hail him, follow his text. After the "ready" five skeleton will spawn around him then "fly" to the west were four "paladins" will engage them. Get your pet (and merc if you like) on the paladins ASAP. start casting your dots on each. You'll get a message saying they are weak to one type of spell and will stop attacking for a while. At that point move to the next one. The main goal here is to protect McMoor, I never had all of them stunned, after a bit of this the room shakes the pally's despawn, and McMoor says it was a success.

8 (middle west'ish) Band of mercenaries - When you enter this room look for the "silent spy", hail him, he says you have to convince the group to leave. Use cloak of shadow's to approach the group (if you don't you get thrown across the room) and "/say " .... whatever you like. The group doesn't leave and they destroy this seal, run back to the first room.

9 (central room) Hollow Spirit - Hail the spirit and say "reactivate". Projection of Inte will path back in. Be patient, it takes him a little bit to show up. He'll attack. The only dot's I got to land were alteration based (Splirt, Demise II, Swift Lifedraw, others in those lines may land as well). He will switch to a "vulnerable" state a few times, I got the dot's to land wether he was vulnerable or not. Once he switches back to a "normal" state he'll summon you, put you at the top of the agro, and root you. Feign death is your friend here.

Once you kill him you'll get a bit of lore from Sulon McMoor and you're done.
