5th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt

Anniversary events tend to run from mid-March to mid-April (sometimes to mid-May) each year. They are not available during the "off season".

Step right up! Step right up! You look like you could use one of the new fireworks we just got in stock! Oh, wait a minute. Are you an [adventurer]?' You say, 'I am an adventurer.' Omtia Sami looks you up and down. 'I knew it! I can spot an adventurer from a mile away! How would you like to win this shiny staff I'm holding? It only requires a small undertaking, you know, gathering a few trinkets for me. Nothing could be simpler and you'll soon have your very own Staff of Endless Adventures! Are you [interested]?' You say, 'I am interested.' Omtia Sami says 'Excellent, you seemed like a person who would enjoy a good game. Here is a bag to combine some items and a cheat-sheet to give you some hints on where to find these trinkets. Don't ask me for any more hints though. This is all you get! Once you are done, bring back the bag and you'll be rewarded nicely!' You receive A Collector's Cheat Sheet and a 10-slot Collection Bag. The text of the cheat sheet is as follow: 1) An orb that aids humans on their dark journey through the land of Gix. 2) The framework of grotesque guardians. 3) The cause of the vilest stench on Odus. 4) To bathe safely in the flames of Ro, you'd be lucky to have this natural protection. 5) Once amphibians begin to rot, they have no need of this blithering tool. 6) The undead guard against the portal of terror with this sharp weapon. 7) A liquid hoop from the masters of the kitchen. 8) This stuffed toy will likely smell of rodent. 9) The diseased mongrel will really miss this well-kept orb. 10) A close look at this pointy object and you'll understand how the weeping began. The ten items are as follows: 1) A Collector's Lightstone, dropped by wisps in Commonlands. 2) A Collector's Mistmoore Granite, dropped by gargoyles in Castle Mistmoore. 3) A Collector's Skunk Scent Gland, dropped by skunks in Toxxulia Forest. 4) A Collector's Fire Goblin Skin, dropped by goblins in Solusek's Eye (Sol A). 5) A Collector's Undead Froglok Tongue, dropped by undead frogloks in Lower Guk. 6) A Collector's Scythe, dropped by spectres near the entrance to the Plane of Fear in the Feerrott. 7) A Collector's Water Ring, dropped by aqua goblins in Dagnor's Cauldron. 8) A Collector's Kerran Doll, dropped by kerran villagers on Kerra Isle in Toxxulia Forest. 9) A Collector's Preserved Split Paw Eye, dropped by gnolls in South Karana. 10) A Collector's Shark Tooth, dropped by sharks in the Ocean of Tears. Combine the ten items in your Collection Bag to craft a Sealed Collection Bag. Hand this in to the quest-giver in your hometown for one of five varieties of Staff of Endless Adventure dependent on your character's creation date (e.g., March 2000 and before yields the Nagafen version), with each year casting a different fireworks display to celebrate EverQuest's fifth anniversary! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Any chance you can change this to xth (ex: 5th) instead of spelling it out (ex: Fifth) in the Alla's database to better match the way it is referenced in-game?
That will also keep the naming convention consistent for all the anniversary stuff. So when searching for the quests and/or achievements it would show up, altogether when searching a single term (ex: 5th).
I kept search for 6th trying to find the actual 6th Anniversary task but it's listed as "EQ Sixth Anniversary Scavenger Hunt". In-game and on Allah's, the achievement is called "Achievement: 6th Anniversary Task". But on Allah's the task is called "EQ Sixth Anniversary Scavenger Hunt". However in-game, the achievement itself refers to it as 6th: Complete 6th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt
Just trying to keep things smooth and consistent.
That will also keep the naming convention consistent for all the anniversary stuff. So when searching for the quests and/or achievements it would show up, altogether when searching a single term (ex: 5th).

Also does start in Crescent Reach now. The quest NPC has to be added to ZAM and his name is Vilnak Klavri.

Kulver (Anniversary Quest) can be found in Oggok at +67, +425, +10.

I double checked the NPC's to make sure, they all give the exact same quest information on hail, choice and finish.

There's a quest giver in PoK on the evil side.... he's a Sarnak... didn't get the name though
The Sarnaks name is Skrassa Ka'rok. He is in one of the Carnival tents on the evil side of POK.

Skrasa Ka'rok in POK just inside evil zone, ground level entrance gives the 5th Anniversary Scanvenger quest. He's inside tthe 1st tent, SOE up a few days ago. The "an old shark" are in great numbers near the druid circle on cyclop's island in OOT.
i was thinking there are 5 staffs, each different and they look like candlesticks so i'll do the quest until i get all 5-- nope-- won't work -- she simply didn't give me another staff

Ok i am just wondering if any of yall got the Collectors Fire gobbie Skin i can not find it......... been camping the stupid Skin longer than its taken me to get the other 9 items... is this bugged or am i killing the wrong thing? because it has not been dropping off of Fire Goblins

Found her by chance, she gave me the task despite me having done this years ago. I re-did the quest and got XP only. I was not given a new Staff (I still have old one in bank, with Tormax effect on it).

Just for the sake of saying it, Phineas Taylor is in West Freeport at loc -156, 193.

George Steeplechase in South Qeynos Loc: +197.16,-145.51 Is the 10th Aniversity guy to see, same collection hunt though.
For sharks, you could go to the middle of the sea at /loc +600 -3200. You will find more sharks than you can handle, swarming like mad there. Closest island, if you don't want to swim, would be Seafury Cyclops island. Swim towards the centre of the map from the redundant druid ring there by the docks.
Or, if you are jammy, you could stay on the boat and keep hitting /loc and jump off as close to the loc I gave above. That point is actually pretty much along the path the boat takes, so you should land right in the middle of the sharks if you did that.
