I did the same as everyone else, killed "a forest giant" over & over, & got nothing. Finally, had a Druid track the knight & she found him right at his spawn point, but underneath the ground. I petitioned & a GM showed up & repoped him above ground where he was supposed to be. I had to explain the whole quest & triggering sequence to convince the GM I wasn't just looking for a free ride. Also, the knight wandered off in less than 2 minutes from spawning, so grab him quick.
I did the pennance quest to get back my newbie khurki. It kinda sucked but i deserved it for being the newbie i was i sold it to a vendor i think back at lvl 2 cuz i got a fs sword. I could have just multi-quested it but i deserved worse than that for my mistake:)

Create a newbie character (or better yet have a friend create one.
Have the new character turn in his weapon, you immediately give the rest of the stuff needed for the second weapon, click give and vola you have your second weapon, now thank friend (or delete temporary character you created) and go on upgrading you weapon
I'm assuming...No. However, the question must be asked whether the first Khukri is No Drop. If it is not, then make a newbie SK and pass it to a friend...and then have them return it to your orginial character.
I must add...What the heck where you thinking? It wasn't very bright to destroy the starting piece to a frustrating, but eventually rewarding series of quests. If it was by accident...then I sympathis...If you destroyed it on purpose, you are very short sighted and sorta a dope.
Not to flame... but I wouldn't think that (as a newbie) you would see your starting item as very valuable. It's not like it has awesome stats... plus, most newbie items (for non iksar races) aren't used in quests such as this. If you KNEW that youd have to redo the quests, you almost surely wouldnt destroy it. But the reason is probably not knowing of these quests that one would destroy it.

Have a friend start a new Iksar SK, and have them turn in the page to get their Khukri. Then, have the items for the FIRST quest (sarnak heads I think?) ready.
Now, hand your sarnak heads to the quest NPC, but DON'T HIT GIVE. Once you have handed, then have your friend give the Khukri to the NPC, THEN you hit give. This should net you a new Khukri.
Its like with any other one where you accidentally destroyed the beginning item (or relatively beginning) for any ladder quest.. Start a new char... hand in the item you only get if you start a new char, and then log back on as the other char and hand in the rest... Its called multi questing.. and technically it can be done by yourself if you dont mind logging a bit and starting a dummy char... If your afraid that someone might give em something while you are logging... you can get a friend to start the new char for ya, like bassclef had previously stated... Good Luck :) my friend did it with his monk, since he accidentally gave the thing to the wrong NPC (doh!)
If you destroyed the first item, I wouldnt worry about it. It's a long series of quests, and the end result is really a lame weapon. I mean, we give our pets better weapons than the quest result here, so dont worry about it too much. While questing is fun however, its more fun when the final reward is actually something usefull.. Verant needs to re-work this quest and reward an item thats more on par with what an SK needs and equal to the time and effort put into the quest.
How can you say the Lord of Pain Khurki is not work the troubles.
This quest isn't all that hard and the steady upgrades are nice, the final or next to the final weapon like the LoP is nice. The GreenMist will be even better. I know the lower versions of the weapon are not the greatest, but for something to keep in the bank and quest on makes this weapon just fine.
Take the game from when it was only Antonica and compare those weapons from other no drops of the same level and you'll see this is above par. If you take a look at the other weapons of Kunark, the weapon does measure up. With the Lord of Pain upgrade the weapon is the equal to the stuff out of the Dragon Necropolis and Chardock <sp>.
One thing for you, get off of your high horse. Not everyone camps creatures for loot and not everyone can afford to buy things worth 30k in plat. It nice you discovered Ebay, now go away.
Sorry if my tone is demeaning, but your attitude sucks along with your opinion.
