coming from someone who's played on 3 TLP servers and maxed out the Wayfarers Brotherhood Emblem on 2 of those servers, i recommend saving yourself the stupid amount of time to grind out all 350+ missions for this aug and just wait a few expansions for DoDH to unlock to get Slipgear's Gem. It takes maybe an hour to do all 6 explore tasks to max out Slipgear's Gem versus days of grinding to max this Wayfarers Brotherhood Emblem, and the only difference is 50 less hp/mana/end.
I finished each of the camps and verified this by going to each one, hailing the npc there. Each one told me he/she had nothing left to teach me.
I went to EC to talk to Chaenz Abella and he offered me raids. I removed the aug and tried again. I destroyed the aug and hailed him again. But he won't give me the emblem. When I petitioned, the GM told me he had examined my flags and I'm missing a step. Any clue what that might be?
Talk to Morden Rasp first. He has to flag you to enable other npc's to replace it if you destroy it. And you are trying it with thw wrong npc as well.
Taken from the LDON lore link in my sig, the one who wrote it up is creditted at the top of that page.
Morden Rasp
It's time to acknowledge you as a Wayfarer. Give Morden your Adventurer Stone and he'll replace it with one of his own. Or, if it's being used in a charm, you must remove it to get your new one. And, if you simply destroy the stone, he will replace it with your much-deserved emblem. Just tell him you want your [emblem].
Morden Rasp says 'I heard you had become knowledgable about all aspects of the dungeons we've found. I must confess that I never had you pegged for such a great adventurer! I suppose I should welcome you -- as a member of the Wayfarers Brotherhood. The honor is well deserved. Congratulations!'
Morden Rasp says 'Here is a token of my appreciation. Should you lose your Wayfarers Brotherhood Emblem or misplace it, I or Barstre, Selephra, Ruanya, Teria, or Vual will replace it.'

Ummm...this is my take on the subject... The adventurer's stone allows you to do "Adventures", and gives you access to the mage transport system. Once you complete all the necessary Adventures needed to fill all the stats, and enable the "Hail" stage, the Wayfarer's Brotherhood Emblem identifies you as a member of that organization. Whether or not it advances any further than the stone, I'm clueless, haven't reached that point yet.
well you can do "Adventures" if you dont have the stone, you just can't use the magus transport. I have done adventures with people in my group who didn't have an adventurer stone.
Im curious since the DoN armor has 2 slots on every piece of armor I have a DoN charm with type 7 and type 9. Adventure stone and this Wayfarer can fit any slot CHARM...can you have both on there will that work?
No, you can not have both the Wayfarer's emblem and the Adventure stone. However, you can use the Slipgear aug on one of the slots on a two slot charms in DoN along with this OR the adventure stone.
that is not correct stats on it that is someone trying to cheat to get higher on EQrankings.com when you make your magelo you can put your charm to 200% thats how they got the dbl stats and how (s)he saw those stats, it is all 10's and 100's trust me
This may sound like a silly question What is the difference between a maxxed out Adventure Stone and this? Why have an upgrade of nothing? Only the name is different between the maxxed out stone and this. Anyone else wonder why?
Spamming this from nother thread and another site. Has approximate (there are still small disagreements) # of wins needed at each site and NPC lisitings for stone increases.
I am posting to confirm these numbers of wins. My adv stone is max. Now if i could just find where the heck Morden Rasp is!....if anyone knows please post.
When you have capped ever camp and completed all your hailing you adventure stone will not be at 10 ac/stat/resist 100 hps/mana/endurance. You need to remove your adventure stone from your charm and turn into the NPC in EC. In return you get your Wayfarers Emblem which you need to combine with your charm. It is a tad bit better than the capped adventure stone, so it is a little more than a trophy.
You can get your current adventure stone and wayfarers emblem replaced without losing any stats. So, you can destroy your adventure stone to remove it and get another for the turn in.
Patently false. Why do people even bother to post misinformation? /sigh Adventure stone caps at 10stats 100hp/mana same as emblem, though for obvious reasons I've never seen emblem at anything less. And it actually does so at one advance short of all camps maxed (all camps but one maxed) - last advance only gives you the ability to trade adventurer's stone for wayfarer's emblem. So if you don't care about bragging rights, you can cap your stone at 356 total wins instead of 366 (see above post for numbers).
He wasn't necessarily being deceiptive. The new stats on the aug only appear when you zone I believe. He may have completed the aug, looked at it and seen the penultimate stats, then handed it in for this aug, and then seen the different stats.
I think that the release of TSS may have lowered the amount of "increases in power" required to max the Adventurer's Stone. After logging in post-launch, I noticed that my Adventurer's Stone was at least 4 or 5 hp/mana greater than it had been prior to the expansion's release (this was when my stone was around 75% complete) without performing any additional hails or adventures.
My Adventurer's Stone reached full stats (100 hp/mana) with 326 wins and one camp's lore completed (60 guk, 60 mir, 76 bb, 70 ruj, 60 tak). The number of wins to receive the Brotherhood Emblem is unchanged at 366 however, and still requires completed lore at all 5 camps.
got it at 399 wins... however i had more than enough in some camp,
happy hunting
mlain
ps, to get this , you remove your adv stone and hail a guy in ec... he gives u this... its exactly the same as your adv stone at that point and is restricted to charm only so its not a free bie aug like the breakdown in communication augs, its just a trophy item...
Anyone know how to gets the stats back after the stone has been removed from you charm? I had to remove the stone and now I cant seem to get the few +1 stats back. If I talk to Vual (I have 16 wins in MM) he just says go adventure some more. Any ideas?

Posted:Jun 16 2004 at 7:19 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The stone counts the number of flags of info you have, there is no way for it to lose power because you have the flags it depends on for stat growth on your character file...
This won't make some people happy, but i have learned for a reputable source that there is infact TWO augs. The adventurers stone once it is maxed out buy the final "hail" npc, whomever that may happen to be, you are told to go hail a certain npc (in EC camp I'm told) and that npc will in fact give you the Adventurers emblem.
Here's the part no one is gonna be thrilled about; none of the adventurers stones or emblaems are linkable with the stats since we each see the stats we have earned. Not sure if that is ny design or bug, but it is what it is. In any case, the emblem is just like the adventurers stone, however I was unable to find out if it is also a charm slor only aug or another type item aug. I kno what the aboves ays but I'm the kind of wood elf that needs to see with his own eyes. Since I'm not quite maxed out in my adventurers stone yet (76hp/mana atm) I have not been able to see for myself yet.
However, if it is infact also a charm slot only aug, the only reason I can fathom that is if for some insane reason you want a switchout charm other than your wooden figurine, then you can carry a 2nd charm with the above aug in it and easily switch them out. Lets be honest though; how many really would have need of a 2nd charm for switchouts....atleast enough for this scenario to even make a little sense. As such, if I am to give SOE a smidgen of intelligent benefit of doubt, then I would say it is the more desireable scenario that the 2 aug may be set into any item slot you desire other than your wooden figurine/charm which 99% of the world of Norrath has chosen to do.......
Yea, yea, I know; another long winded reply, but if any of you know me ingame on FV, you know that is just the way I am, hehe.

I agree that it's stupid, but I have some idea of the reason.
She says that if you lose your Wayfarer's Emblem, you can get it replaced by talking to her or one of the other people. If you somehow lost your adventure stone with a lost corpse or just an accidental deletion, whatever, you'd have to get the adventure stone replaced and then traipse all around Norrath re-hailing all those NPCs to get its power back, I think. (not sure)
If you got this Emblem, you could just talk to one NPC to have it replaced.
Fortunately, you're wrong. The game doesn't simply change the item you carry. Your character is flagged when you complete adventures. That's why if someone with different stats on their stone links it, you see your stats, not theirs. For this reason, if you lose the stone and get it replaced, the replacement has the same stats. I think/hope.
How many adventuers do you have to win at each camp to max out stats? i am wondering that i mean i do want the nice 100 mana and HP but i am just wondering how many adventuers? hmmmmmmm
At 75 Vual in BB said that he had no more to tell me. That would make sense because at 75 wins I had +1 to all stats. If there's an additional +1 for finishing a theme it would equal the full +10 per stat, but I never received an additional bonus at 80 and I now have 91 wins in BB. If anyone finds out if I'm supposed to do something special or talk to a different person to finish a theme please let me know.
It takes 10 adventures to power up once. Each power up takes it up +1hp/+1mana/+1endurance and the stone has a max of 100 for these. This leads me to believe that the stone can be powered up 100 times, which would mean it would take 1000 adventures to max it out. If I'm right.
Ok, can someone tell me the point of this item? If you have a maxed adventurer stone, it's the exact same stats as this and they are both for the exact same slot.... unless there's a charm out there with room for 2 augments.
Let's do a little deductive reasoning, shall we? The names of the 2 different augs are our first clue as to what they are and what they do. The "Adventurer's Stone" by it's name implies it's a stone use while doing yer adventures.
As for the "Wayfarer's Brotherhood Emblem"; insert symbol, mark, badge, etc, etc.... The fact that it has the exact same stats as the "Adventurer's Stone", is charm slot only, and looks identical to the Adventurer's Stone, should all indicate that they are indeed the very same item.
Also, don't forget that Allah always shows the max stats for such items so that one may know what the max stats indeed are. However, once max stats have indeed been achieved, the aug is completed and the name of the aug also changes to reflect that it has infact been "maxed" The fact that it's an emblem should also be self explanatory....
Emblems, symbols, marks, badges, etc., all tend to be a form of indentification or standing with groups, clans, merchants, factions and what not. So, by extentionu the "Wayfarer's Brotherhood Emblem" is a badge honor, or identification and standing within the Brotherhood. So, when ye next interact with one of the Wayfarer's Brotherhood, you shall be openly recognized as being amoungst the most highly favored and sought after elite dungeon crawlers!
Good luck; I hope yer stay is a pleasant one.

um.... no, he says they are the same item, the stone becomes the emblim after it's maxed...... if he's right...... havent maxed mine so i don't know first hand though......
Correct. When I said "to have" I meant "to have in the game" not "to have on your character" which obviously is impossible, as you turn in one to get the other once you have all your points.
Perhaps it is for people with 2 favorite charms, so they can still switch out charm based on situation, but gain the benefit from the maxed aug. Just a thought, or maybe the item changes name when it maxes out...
I think it's for bragging rights and for that ^^^. Such as 1 in a Whimsy of the Masters (gains power the longer your in a zone)and 1 in the planar charm (most common used, gains power with more flags obtained.

#REDACTED,
Posted:Feb 07 2004 at 6:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Afterlife is an EQ guild..
Afterlife being the best guild is debatable. Perhaps the most powerful, as in doing higher level stuff that other guilds, but that doesn't make them the best. Personally I prefer a guild that's more of a family of friends than "uber." So for me ... not the best.
Ya know i dont have this item but if its the identical to the max adv stone and you get it when you max your stone then ya i would have to agree .. sence i have had to remove my adv stone before and when you do it loses all its stuff the flags are there that you completed the missions yes BUT your stone isnt flag'd for getting the info SO you do have to re-hail to get it charg'd again and sence its anoying prosses the emblem would be a good change just hail and pop fully charged and just as good
never right a post saying "i think/hope" and try to act like you have a clue what your talking about
