Nagafen seems to be the best one :p
But there are 5 staffs... so i would think one is doing 5 blasts, but which ?

This is based on character creation. My main is a froglok(so he was made in 2003 when Ykesha came out) and I got the solusek sparkler one. My account on the other hand was created in 1999 when I made my first character.

What does the spell effect look like? I created Kyranthor in January of 2001 so got the Trak Tail. Haven't seen anyone with the Nagafen Fire.

Solusek sparkler is the Ro effect version.
My FV rogue can now duel wield the Solusek sparkler (that she quested) with the Miragul rocket (that my alt quested from my other account). One more reason to love my server, woot!

The staff you get is according to when your character was made. If you were made in the PoP era, I assume this is the staff you get.
Nagafen = 1999 = Old World
Trakanon = 2000 = Kunark
Tormax = 2001 = Velious
Ro = 2002 = PoP
Miragul = 2003 = LDoN
This is my best guess so far. Five years, five staves. I'll update if needed.

Nope, to get the Trak tail one, you will need to have created your toon during the second year of EQ's existance. ie. between March 2000 and March 2001. Zhao was made January 2001, right after Velious, and got Trak Tail.

I have Trak tail and I was made in 2001 march to be specific. Its very possible that its time played... my character has 240 days played.

Doesnt have to do with play time days. It does however go off of char creation date. My Druid(June 1999) got Naggy Fire and my Ranger(Nov 2000) got Trak's Tail.
ammdar, im beting u were made before the 15/16th of march then? which would give u the traks instead of tormax.. and does not have to do with days played.. i have 95days played and i got Nagafens Fire.. March 4, 2k0 creation tho
