I'm impressed that they took a stock merchant item and made it into a drop in the tutorial. It's somewhat bizarre that no NPC in the "real world" drop it. Makes one wonder how many other vendor-only items that might actually be useful (if they dropped on the correct level NPC for actually being used) items exist.
Anyways, we need a modern item window pic for this item. A screen shot of someone wielding it would be nice too.

What locations and possibly which merchants carry this weapon?
Don't know where the 17pp price comes from, it's a regualrly sold items that merchants only charge about 5pp for. Sold in any monk guild (Know for a fact it's sold in Freeport and Cabilis, I's assume that means that the Qeynos mobk guild would sell it too.).

I saw one for sale in the Cleric's Guild in Erudin. It was normally carried item. This is a great item for almost any class (non-twinked) to keep their 1hb skill up.
