I had this mob pop on me while looking for names but cant find info on it.
It resisted almost every spell I cast. Being a lvl 85 necro SOD gear'd with over 1900 AAs. This mob was a terror.

Would it be poosible for a 54 wizzy to kite in DS?
My 59 Rng was in DS the other day and tried to track some mobs. The only Named mob showing was Fang. Spent about 20 minutes tracking this mob and realized it was in the castle so decided to leave it alone.
My question is where have all the other named mobs disappeared to? I spent about an hour in the zone and no named mobs showed up, I know before New Years if you spent that much time in DS you would find 4-5 named mobs running around. Don't say they were killed by over population b/c during that time there were only 2 of us in this zone.

Guess I was just unlucky that night, but since this post I have seen several named mobs up and running around in Dranik's that I did not see then, so I guess they are back.

As of 9/14/05, it still drops. Know how I know? I camped it for 6 hours, at when i finally decided to give up on it, BAM! next 20 mins Ukun spawns, and he drops aug. Unfortunately i gave up camp and the person said it was letting it rot, so i /shouted OMW and DIBS before anyone else and guess what? my group mate takes it! Oh well, maybe next time.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible for an Iky Necro to gain faction to do armor quests, and if so....which Mobs help or hurt this faction.
New to OOW and wanting to get armor. The faction listing shows D.Scar as both faction gains and faction hits. I need to know which mobs are good to kill to raise it. Thanks !

By the way, it's Dranik Loyalists faction you need, not Children of Dranik.
Most kyvs, ukuns, nocs, ikaavs and stoneworkers give you positive DL faction. Some dragorns do also (usually the purple coloured ones, such as vanquishers and fleshrenders in RCoD).
Easiest kills are the ones in this zone.
No normal zone mobs give bad faction, so don't worry about that.

if you want to get the faction for dranik loyalists, then killing any type of nocs or ukuns will raise the faction, killing the dragorns will not lower the faction, but you won't gain faction out of killing them. the only way to lower the faction that i'm aware of is by killing certain named dragorns such as Tibor or Kirostall.

Dumb question coming up, how can I access this zone? I have finally located maps and want to check it out. Is the pod everyone refers to the Plane of Disease. Is there a portal there? Any help would be appreciated - Thanks

When you see a Priest of Discord (PoD), talk to him and say "I wish to go to Discord" or something like "wish to go" and you will be teleported by the PoD to Dranik's Scar. Hope this helps

I am a lvl 47 bst, could i solo here? if so where would be the safest place to solo? And should i invest in a gate potion?
How rare is it to get an aug to drop of the lower lvl things in here? see a few that i wouldn't mind having for myself.

As a 52 BL I am able to solo the yard-trash mobs easily, so the same mobs would likely be manageable for you as well. Stick to the Kyv, Dragorn Commoners, and generic Ukuns, these are low 40's to 45...buff up poison resist, belive this effects the Chaos Claw proc they have, can anyone confirm?
Has anyone gotten any Magnetized off Dragorn Commoner or Peon in Draniks lately? Also not seeing xxxflow stones off any yard trash mobs either recently (over a month since last drop).

I am currently soloing my 47 Shaman here. I think most classes could solo here if the person playing knows how to use their character well. It is definately a bad zone to get adds in so stay close to the PoD's if you dont have gate. /agree with the previous poster, hunting goes slower here but it is worth it.
Just an FYI, I am currently soloing my 46 Druid here near the Pod's and all I can say is WOW!
Great XP and Augs that fetch a pretty penny in the Bazaar. I am DOT kiting and yes the kills do take a bit longer but definitely worth it.
Not sure how any other classes would be in here at 46, but the druid does just fine.

Where can you sole at 67 some OoW gear and not get 5 adds? All I want is Just a little gear.
Ok.. To answer my earlier question, yes, a 58 Mage can solo here. Some of the ranges are off.
"A Kyv Heartpiercer" is always Dark Blue to 58 and is fairly tough, while "A Kyv" is always Light Blue (at least in the area just north of Karsor the Mad) and is not nearly as tough.
"A Noc" cons LB, while "A Noc Havocblade" cons DB and is much tougher.
"A Dragorn Commoner: cons LB, while "A Dragorn Peon" cons DB.
These are all relative to lv 58.

Hello,
any knows how to get into the instanced zone in Dranik Scars at bottom of the corridors next Bloodfield zone ?
Is a gate there, and when you click on it, says you can enter if you have something to do there ...
Any NPC gives you access to there ? Which ?

yeah i noticed today to on my that part i was like what the crud is that jus made run backl there for nothing.... heh pretty badly wounded comming out :), it said your path is blocked perhaps you would be able to enter if there was a reason to come here

DONT KILL HIM!!!!! Ok heres the scoop on this guy, he spawns as a newborn Murkglider Devourer and as time progresses he grows to a young MD, Mature MD, then Elder MD. The older he gets the stronger he gets and the better items he drops.. so dont kill him just follow im around ><

I know about him evolving, but it takes a long while, and I'm not about to follow this mob around for ages. I killed him mostly because he wasn't listed here and because I wanted to post what he drops. I probably won't be able to solo the Elder version anyway, but who knows :)
