But when you go to eat it, the Chameleon rat -looks- like a carrot or some other veggies..

I think you need to have your eyesight looked at. Chameleon Rat in no way shape or form even remotely looks like a carrot or some other veggie :P

looks like part of a rat that was rode over by car, the half that's left is what's in the pic, the othre half of it is still with the car, hmm, or irate war
