You say, 'Hail, Kirostall' Kirostall says 'Ah, there you are! I've wanted to meet you. After hearing about your fights with the Muramites I knew that you were one to respect. At least you have the heart to fight back against those worthless thieves. If it were up to my kinsmen we'd all just roll over and thank them for ruining our world. After the battles you've been through I wonder if you could take care of a few [things] for me.' You say, 'What things?' Kirostall says 'You see, I've been keeping my eyes open. I'm not one to just roll over and take what's given to me. I keep watch over those Muramites and what goes on in their ranks. I've noticed [three] of the Muramites in particular who seem to have a bit more sway in the legion than a common soldier. Perhaps if you could see that these Muramites had a bit of an accident, the rest of the dragorn would come to their senses and see that the Muramites are nothing more than a pathetic band of slavers.' You say, 'Three?' Kirostall says 'The first one that I noticed was [Bowlord Rorn]. He's one of those kyv that you see around in the Muramite ranks. I watched Rorn for a while and noticed he worked with [Mistress Ujani] a good deal. Then, a few weeks later while hiding from some ukun, I came across [Guttertusk the Cruel]. He's a mean one he is. I wouldn't put anything past him and would prefer it if I didn't have to cross his path again.' You say, 'Bowlord Rorn?' Kirostall says 'As I said, Bowlord Rorn is one of those kyv. He's been keeping track of their patrols and what sorts of tasks they have been set on. If you could bring me the decorated gauntlets he's always wearing and three of the bows his fellow kyv carry it would help my efforts greatly.' Bowlord Rorn may be found in the Ruined City of Dranik. He drops Elaborate Gauntlets occasionally. A Broken Kyv Bow is dropped from various kyvs in the zone. Hand in the items: Kirostall says 'Perfect! This will light a fire under those laggards. Here, take this ring I found in the gauntlets. It appears you were a bit tough on him when you pulled these off. Good for you!' Your faction standing with Dranik Loyalists got better. Your faction standing with Overlord Mata Muram got worse. You gain experience!! Be warned for anyone thinking to do this quest: The drop rate on the broken bow's are awful. I've cleared the named's room a dozen times over and only gotten 1 to drop so far.
Has anyone found if this quest can be Multiquested?
i have the gauntlents, 3 bows, and warmly faction but when i do the turn in he says he has no need for the items. any ideas? ... maybe buged?

I just completed the quest last week with no issues. This quest is not bugged.
Hybrids need mana regen obviously and shamans and necro's need regualr regen. Also damamge over time spells hurt everyone so why wouldn't a caster use regualr regen?
When you're in the newb type of gameplay your focus isn't on this kind of stuff yet but trust me once you get time under you you'll be trying to max both regen's. (unless you're pure melee)

wierd how casters get regen and tanks get mana regen in this quest
Speaking as a shaman that has well over the cap FT anyway, I am quite happy to see the HP regen on the caster version...

I am a 68 SK and just got this ring, and I for one love the mana regen. A lot of my tier one armor had regen on it, and so far only one piece that Ive gotten has had +1 mana regen, so +4 on a ring is a great item for me. Seems to me that most items with good mana regen are caster only, or not made for plate classes, so I for one am thrilled to get this ring.
Why does the melee version have mana regen and the caster version have regen? Isn't that backwards?

Faction you need is Dranik Loyalist. Need to be at least Warmly to do quest.

#1 The Bow doesnt drop in an expidetion. There are bows that seem very similar but are no the ones you need.
#2 Where is the glove? The Glove will drop off of a mob named Kyv Bowguard.
#3 Where is Kyv Bowguard? Download the map, and you will see an NPC named Filigno the Slayer. This will be your camp. It is safe to just sit in this room as mobs will never enter it. There are two adjacent rooms to your camp. One room has nothing but 6 kyvs and one ukun in it. One of the Kyvs is the PH.
#4 His PH's and the other non named Kyv's are the ones that will drop the 3 broken bows you will need also.
Only thing I dont know, is if there is factin needed once I do the turn in?

Its Bowlord Rorn no the Bowguard or the Bowhound. The spawn area is correct though.
In the second adjacent room are all Dragorns. The traitor to the left is the placeholder for the prodigy. The dragorns here are all purple but for one lightblue. "a dragorn guard" is the PH for another named.

just camp bowlord, the kyvs around him drop the A Broken Kyv Bow. quest completed in 3 hour camp, got 4 runes too =)

Oh quit ******* hybrids need ft too, besides its basically a bard ring anyway
first off... this isnt just a bard ring.. alot of OTHER hybrids can use it.. and bards get alot of other instrument mod items that other classes can use.. that would be better for other classes than just bards.. yes.. hybrids need FT.. my beastlord is in need of it badly.. but its NOT just a bard ring.. only real class that i could see as not wanting it that much would be a war, whom have no need for FT or intrument mods
Seems like you have the FT ring for Melee and Regen ring for Casers - im guessing that is backwards.

I got 2 bows and Guantlets in 5 hours - three named spawns on third had rune mask and guantlets.

Anyone care to post the actual relevent information of where the bow can be found? Five posts of whether or not you like the ring seems sufficient... but... need to know where the bow drops to actually get it.

I got it of the Kyv Bowguard in RCoD lately.
Bows drop from andy Kyv's in Ruined City of Dranik
The bows also drop from the kyvs in the Dranik's Hollow expeditions.

Aye, it seems a bit backwards. Except for Necros; Im sure they love the +regen on the caster version

Casters version has +4 regen, and the melee version has +4 mana regen.. oookay...
I dont get it, wouldnt a caster rather have mana regen? I mean I am a rogue and I like regen, but why mana regen, I dont have any mana.... Way to go SOE on another good item ruined by stupidity!

most casters are maxed mana regen by level 70, but still low on HP regen.
Hybrid's usually need to search long and hard for decent attainable FT items with good stats and AC
69th level Enchanter -- FT 20 and 10hp Regen from items right now.
Well... At this level and geared the way I am, I'll swap out mana regen for hp regen easily. I'm 4 over my mana regen cap for now and can easily push that up higher with gear but hp regen??? It's a bit tougher to get that raised up.
Nice ring IMO.
