The Halls of Honor are home of the Battalion of Marr and lead the way to Mithaniel Marr's temple. In three of the four crypts you will find trials in which you can prove yourself in the trials of the Villagers, Crazed Norrathians, and the mighty dragon Rydda`Dar.

Level 57 is required to enter the zone without a flag on the live servers.

There is an Agent of Change for the Temple of Marr right by the zone to Temple of Marr. In Halls of Honor. There. On there bridge. right before the Temple of Marr. Okay this is feeling awkward.

im in a kite group atm in HoH im a 60 ranger useing a nightmarewood compound bow and for some reason for the passed 15 mins i have missed every single shot does anyone have an idea whats wrong??

Because you aren't using arrows flagged as 'magic'. If you were closer you'd see the invulnerable message, hehe, unless you have those turned off.

you dont have to be 62 per se` to enter but to get in without the progression you have to be 62 to get in earlier you have to kill RD in PoV

The rate that you gain AA XP is now based differently. The best level to get AA in HoH is level 65 as AA XP is now all based on level 70 gains.

To give you an idea however, with my Enchanter, a charmed Valorian Guardian & friend who has a Beastlord, both level 67. We average about 7 to 8 AA an hour. When we use double XP we get 6 in 30 minutes.

I haven’t soloed there longer than 30 minutes or so as it gets pretty risky with the charm breaking and no cover heals.

If you had no charm then I imagine you would make about 4 or 5 AA an hour.

I was mass killing in HoH collecting trade skill items, when at the time I found an invisable augment called the "Crest of Valor". However after the last patch the augment now has a graphic stats below.

In HoH atm..when you zone in mobs attack you...and then stop...but there are no mobs near...should hit you for less than 4k damage and then stop. Brefist neers or something is who attack.

Yeah that bug still exists unfortunately....I was going around doing some PoP progression this weekend with a PU raid and we zoned in, and I definitely took some damage, but when I was fully in there were no mobs around, and all of the raid standing there lol.

Wonder if anyone's reported this yet, could be an issue now that this place is a hotzone....

I had a valorous spirit gate on me for the first time a few days ago. I used to hunt here extensively and had never seen that happen. Anyone else noticed this? I guess he could have been given an item that gives him the ability to gate...

Yes. I had a militis in BoT gate on my group before also. He didnt summon after the gate either. I had never seen this until about a month and a half ago, nor have I seen it since.

I can only assume it was a different mob type with the wrong nametag. Im not sure though.

Yes, a 65 Bard can solo in here. You can pull the suits at the front out to the race track (GY) and kite them pretty easily. I have also found that I can kite the Valorian guards and Sentries in one of the basements. I usually have to break that room with a double kite, but after that I can chain kite singles all night.

Anybody have any detailed info on Halls of Honor Trials? I can't seem to find much other then that there are 3 trials. 1) Protect a girl, 2) protect a village, 3) slay a dragon. I can't even find any info on how to start each of the trials.

Been hunting here for about 2 or so months with some friends and what not... and we came to relize that nothing or value ever drops here... no weapons or gear. Every now and then we will pick up some vendor fodder but thats about all... got to talking to my guild and someone said the zone drops were taken out all together,<other then sub bosses ect...> can someone verify this or am i just really unlucky? =D

In two different groups the past two days, saw a mantle drop from the Wrulons and a Windblade from one of the Valiant mobs.

The graveyard is to the left after you zone into
HoH. It is very large and used extensively for snare kiting. Our group looted two Valorian Insignia's, a few Etheral Parchments, and one Spectral Parchment. It took many trips and dozens of mobs for this loot to drop. We then
moved to RFB which stands for Right Front Basement. There is also RBB for Right Back Basement, LFB, and LBB. Each basement has 3 very large rooms. The Valorian Sentrys and the black Valiant Spirits can be slowed, but cannot be rooted, snared, or mezzed. They can be stunned effectively. The Spirits are in the first room and can be disregarded if your goup can't handle a wildman. The black Spirits seldom drop anything. If you clear the black Spirits, eventually a white Valiant Spirit will spawn. White Spirits can be snared and rooted. The White Spirits summon but also drop the Windblade (rarely). We have looted two Windblades. Etheral Parchments drop often. Many Spectral Parchments will also drop. No other items of interest have dropped for us. "Hero Parts" for baking will drop on amost every kill many other vendor items also drop. Most sell for 80 PP to 128 PP. Many times I am boxing three players; a 65 Druid, 65 Enchanter and a 65 Magician. A good RL friend is a 65 Cleric. Add a couple of first class buds like Nilino, a first class 65 Wizard and Bonesfinder, a first class 65 Necromancer and the AA's are non stop with very little risk involved.

When you first get there you're indifferent or amiable to most everything. The empty black suits of armor outdoors along the paths (a guardian of marr, a protector of marr, an animated guardian) are KOS but don't see invisible. Also down the first road to the left is a building with a bunch of empty white suits of armor (a valorous spirit) which are KOS -- and some of those see invisible. I found nothing but two of those valorous spirits saw invis. And nothing else in the zone is KOS. Inside most of the buildings and most of the basements will be completely safe.

If you take even one faction hit everything is KOS, not even illusions and Collaboration can help. One of the commonest camps is to pull guardians right past the zone in to the graveyard and fight them in the graveyard. If you don't invis before zoning in, you're likely to be seen (but not attacked) by the mob running past and take a faction hit before you know it. Happened to me.

The trials are for raid forces (50'ish). The one involving the dragon Rydda Dar is especially tough. You have to beat all 3 to zone into the Temple of Marr (HoHb).

When you first time enter HoH. All human guards will be indiff and all armors will be kos.

Kill one thing and you get kos to everything. May have some questrelated reason. Bad I found out that on my own way so can't hail guards and so. Maybe with charm.

Almost all human guards can be charmed and snared. Sentry can't, about half of the armors can be rooted but almost never charmed.

Things hit for about 544 to 588. Got around 50K hp I would guess.

Spectrals seem to drop only of human guards, about 1 in 40. Ethereal very rare.

All mobs are about 3 times the normal size, they run run3 like most pop mobs.

Exp is about same as pov.

I went with a guild yesterday and killed the dragon Aerin Dar I hailed the elemental and got the temporary flag but after that I wend LD and as I went in again everybody was gone and I had to gate out do i still have then the temprary flag and can go in the liar again to go to HoH for the permanet flag or do I have to kill the dragon again ?

I am very confused by this zone. All of the great armored sentrys that walk this land are hostile to me but they seem like good folk. I am certainly friends with worshippers of Marr. Is there a reason they hate me?

Should I not hunt them? I made a rule early on to only fight in self defense but cutting down a guardian of Marr sounds too far.

I got access to this zone on saturday night on tholuxe paells server, i attended an open raid as my guild also isnt large enough, not many are. The way we did it was someone who had completed the key quest opened the door and went in with a mage, everyone else was then coth in. We had 72 people on the raid and we wiped on the dragon twice :( . The dragon has ae fear and DD, Bard songs are a must, clerics were also ae healing. When dragon and sentries were finally down an elemental spawned, all people hailed it and recieved a temporary flag. We then had to fight along a canyon to a building with an electric arc at the front of it, the arc is the zone in to HoH. On zoning in you recieve your permanent HoH flag.
How do you get into this zone

Ok, can someone post how to get into this zone if they know it? I think you have to do a key quest in PoV to gain access to a dragon which is supposed to give access to HoH if you kill him. However, I have no way of confirming this, as my guild isn't quite high enough to do it.
