just soloed it with my 83 mage without trouble, merc was oom quite fast but after pet killed all adds it was quite a cake ... i think merc was on rampage.

I just finished this quest, and the only really hard part about it is the final encounter, it's not even that hard just a pain in the butt to split Discordling Dark Animist from his warders (though it can be done, easily with 2 monks) also, the effect does last 20 minutes.

recast on the epic is 10 minutes (600 seconds). Could someone tell me how long the effect lasts?
Use the Lucy, young padawan.
Lucy says 20 min. I find that highly unlikly considering all other 1.5's are a 1 min duration.
Lasts twenty minutes. Recast time is only 6 minutes. Basically, it's a permanent, awesome buff for our warder. Hope it doesn't get nerfed.

What have Beastlords done to you EQ that they are asked to peform a difficult undertaking for such a poor reward maybe you all thought you were giving them another Epic one item and forgot that this was supposed to be an reward,upgrade it to be better than a drop in OOW ,and at least comparable with the other classes.Also on the Rangers side most of there AA's are for Range (Bow) yet again they get medicor weapons instead of a GREAT BOW ? SOE proves once more,that this has become EverJoke instead of EverQuest. Just this Pally' 2C worth .Not even touching those epics HaHa Sob:(

you might wanna check the rangers aas again . apart from the original archery aas, we never got anything that increases the archery dps . we do have tons of melee aas though .

I believe this is 1.5, and for that, it is not a bad weapon. Here's looking forward to seeing the 2.0.

No Dex send it back it must be broken!
theres no dex on it because we can buff up our dex just fine, if you havent noticed we dont ever get any agility buffs so they had to compensate for that with the +30 agi on this epic.
The focus effect on this is kinda lame considering beastlords already have an earring that increases cold spell damage by 25%. The extra 10% is negligible considering the effort to obtain these epic.

Are you referring to the WoS earring? And even if you arent are you assuming that all BSTs will use that earring and not upgrade it? lol
And dont bother saying you can buy it and equip when nuking. I'd hate to meet the poor sap that swaps earrings everytime they cast a 0.5 sec nuke that does roughly 1k damage lol
