Some people never run out of things to complain about huh? I am currently working on this quest and still use my 1.5...wizards and mages love having a 1.5 or 2.0 druid around due to the nice increase in damage they can dish out on raid mobs...if you don't like the effect, then don't get it...but don't come onto these boards and whine about how sony messed up our epics...
lvl 75

Wow close to being able to get this and they raise the level to 75. ha.

# May 28 2006 at 2:23 PM Rating: Default
says 50% in the pic above, not 5% or 30%, 50% dmg increase is godly IMO.

this effect for 2.0 IS 50%, I am a druidess in one of the top 3 guilds on Fro and I use this clicky ever chance I get and I love it, to all those who complain about it are just stupid, guess you just cant make everyone happy /shrug

The effect increases direct spell damage by thirty percent (30%), not 5%, it makes a 10,000 damage nuke do 13,000. And besides, it's not harming you in any by having it, so it's not 'useless'

Actually ...
# Dec 13 2005 at 8:20 PM Rating: Decent
Actually, in places such as Tacvi, MPG Raid Trials, Anguish, and DoN Dragons .. this clicky comes in very handy. When you're pressed for time and need to "burn" a mob as quickly as possible, it's GREAT because the spell damage applies to everyone.
# Aug 28 2005 at 3:56 AM Rating: Default
Stats on it and the -hate effect are the only things good about it. I have my 1.5 and plan to have my 2.0 here soon. I think we got the huge shaft. Clerics get a clicky group complete heal, and shammies get a clicky group HUGE HoTT. Why can't we get a healing effect, we ARE priests no? WTB SoE actually taking some time to THINK about effects and roles of classes before they do stupid stuff like this again.

# Dec 19 2006 at 6:23 PM Rating: Default
um maybe u should have a cleric link u 1.5/2.0 noob... its not a group HoT ... thiers has the agro reduction just like all other classes (except tank classes for obvious reasons) and a right clicky Divine Arbitration so.... stop complaining about SoE ******** the druids cuz the didnt they just made Druids Wiz/mage best friend (after encs :P)

Well, technically, you are both wrong. First, he said cleric epic had a group Ch, not a HoT, he said shaman had an HoT.

Second, while cleric epic does not have a CH, it does have a heal, in addition to the divine arbitration portion of the clicky. The epic 2.0 has two components to the clicky. First, it divine arbs the group, equalizing health. Then, it heals every group member for 2k.

So, since you don't know what you are talking about either, perhaps you should stop calling other people n00b and so forth.

quarm raid.. 2 mins. god high end raid.. max 15 mins if the guild should be there and doing what it is doing and not trying to 1/2 zerk it.
casting furry from wiz and mage. Druids are spot heals when clr abilities is not at peak and for those off nasty ae's. do druids really have time to nuke during those, chanes are no. End game weapon. not for playing in mpg or rift, use another weapon if you wish. if you need a dmg proc, I pray you are playing in pov tanking. once again. END Game. not for 90% of the druid players who are thinking group issues, if you are, go look up the primals in yexxta for a good weapon that you can solo. name, illuimnated hammer. Anyway. 72 person raid, 40+ people show up to start... 20 right before raid mob, short 3 clrs. clair, Sa, new bard song, oak, necro taps, rods.. etc.. clrs might still be lom. 340 mana... 1/2 quick heal. regen 2 over a 15 min fight.. well add it.. Will help with atleast one free spot heal to keep that clr alive or that chanty who is mezzing 4 things. ok that covered.
got maybe 3 or 4 druids with you, each with this epic. send a tell. you are next. 15 nukes later, the next one lands... 60 nukes total. at 5% with a wiz crit of 10K 500.. 1/4 are wiz that land. 15 hits for wiz alone. 15 x 500. 6500 extra dmg. plus mage, and other bs.
in a 15 minute fight that can shave a whole minute of the fight with this epic. saving the already short hand clrs with mana probs after a cch at 2 seconds and 7 clrs. save the chanties from runes and mezzes.. and since us druids are spot healing our *.....* off from those ae's since not enought clrs to mpg heal. we add I esitmate threw that clicky 20K off a few mill mob. Not to bad with never casting one nuke.
Now for the next flamer. ok your high end guild does have everything togeather. Nuke with it. if you want to complain about "gimp" nukes. what are you doing with this with out maxed nuke aa's???? and how?....

Decent MR's for mobs taken, dot resist is nice for those ae's but needs a smaller delay to 24 for those who are healing and want to just beat on the mob as well while doing it. and a spell sheilding of 5%. at 410 mr, with a 350+ check.. it still helps..

Once again, if you are not raiding these type of raids, why are you getting this when you can do yxtta for a hammer?? heck hit mpg and get a coldforged. and to those who are still going to flame... ever notice how the epic 1.5 and 2.0's work with eachother to make a raid group stonger. match a few epics togeather and see how they form a tigher conection allowing each class to add more dps and less hate while keeping everyone alive.. not about the single groups with these puppies.. its about droping that lv 85 raid mob and laughing. ok.. ty

quit whining
# Dec 24 2004 at 4:33 PM Rating: Default
Everyone flaming these epics will most likely never get them, because they aren't high enough to get into uber raid guilds that will be able to help them complete there epic 2.0's. They're the people that would prefer that when you start the game SoE made you evel 65 with 1000 aa's and gave you all the best gear in the game, instead of working to get it for yourself. And that to get your epic 2.0 all you have to do is give you old weapon to your guild master and you get a weapon that does a 100000000 dmg nuke that's unresistable with +1000 to all your stats. Be realistic, you're not good enough to ever get this weapon as is, so you shouldn't assume that it's crap, just like everyone assumes every other epic is crap. In a big raid with casts that can critical nuke for 10k I'm quite certain they would love the additional 2.5% damage from this. That extra damage will build up fast if you keep clicking this effect onto the mob throughout the fight.

Well, proves this person isnt a druid...

Quote:"That extra damage will build up fast if you keep clicking this effect onto the mob throughout the fight"

reality: Recast Delay: 300 seconds .. for those that cannot count or do not have the epic... that is 5 minutes. Not exactly my Idea of chain castable.

The truth is this stick is strickly for bragging rights since due to bugs and quest, it is not worth the effort to get it and the effect is the weakest and most unreliable of all epics.
Feedback works wonders!!
# Dec 19 2004 at 12:45 AM Rating: Decent
All i have to say is /feedback does wonders back when the druids didnt like the snare effect on the druid epic 1.0 we got that changed lets get to working on getting this crappy clicky removed from this and getting a clicky we all should have i honestly expected something like an upgraded dot on it not something so totally useless as this. Come on people lets use our /feedback and show them how we truly feel and get it changed.

What's left to complain about ... screwed again :-(

"Fixed," maybe. But still not on par with other priest classes epics.
# Dec 16 2004 at 8:18 AM Rating: Decent
As of the 12/15/04 patch they "Fixed" it. Now while the effect is on the mob, none of the druids spells will affect it... in fact the druid cannot cast, period.. The Damage boost is a random 0 - 5% so if you get lucky and it isn't resisted (which is what usually happens) then you MAY get a 2.5% to 3% boost in the next 15 DD's by other people.

Yep, nice stick.. Got to love the stats on it but who would bring a stick to a gun fight??
# Dec 17 2004 at 11:34 AM Rating: Decent
Repatched.. Now allows DD's to hit again and gives a 0 - 5% boost to next 15 DD's.

for a while there it was uber... if you wanted to help the mob that is.. While in effect it blocked ALL DD's from everyone from damaging the mob. Fixed now so just weak and near useless. Some tests so far show 2.5% or less boost in DD dmg.

One thing I have noticed about all classes, their epics and the posts about them... very few people are happy with them. There are alot of things that I would have prefered this epic have and other slots that I would rather it had used...but if no class is 100% happy with their epic and there is someone in every class that feels cheated, wouldn't it be fairly safe to say that the epics are kinda ballanced? As a druid, I am glad to see that our discussion has remained mostly informative and non flaming. This just shows the maturity of our class.

A great, but disappointing day for Druids.
# Dec 15 2004 at 8:07 AM Rating: Default

Now that I realize that the clicky "focus" lasts a maximum of 15 blasts (including procs, and such, and trust me, Beastlord pets are going to eat through your "curse" like nothing else), this seems even more disappointing of a clicky than I had originally thought...and I definitely wasn't impressed with it on the get-go.

As it can only affect one MOb per cast, and won't catch on most of the MObs you'd actually enjoy using it on (all those end-game Raid Bosses who will last long enough for it to be "useful", but will either be immune due to the exclusions, or have a pretty damned good chance to resist it, anyway with only a -50 resist modifier), it's one of the most disappointing clickies I can think of. Honestly, it has its uses, but for how far in your character has to be to acquire this weapon, it'd end up being a "stat stick".

Shame that SOE didn't give the Druids something useful to go with (*in this case*; yes, I know all about how Druids are SOE's "******* children"... /rolls his eyes), but I suppose all we can do is /feedback the tar out of it, and brunt the hit, for now. First thing to do would be to get the 1.5's clicky (I'm assuming this one is bugged, as well, since they're nearly the exact same) *actually working*. I've heard a few complaints out of higher-up Druid friends that the bloody thing doesn't even work.

Useless or close too.
# Dec 14 2004 at 5:28 PM Rating: Decent
As of right now it continues to be as useless as the epic 1.5 the 15 nukes includes everything.. no matter what size so includes procs, hybrid DD's etc. The recast time makes it useless for raids since you can cast once per mob per 5 mins and hope the next 15 nukes are worth it.

The last problem is it has NO RESIST modifier.. it is resisted at least twice as much as it takes (and sometimes more). So you are looking at miss, 5 mins, miss, 5 mins then hit to boost DD dmg for about a couple thousand dmg max.

As of the last tests the epic 1.5 had no effect and did not increase damage like it said it would so I assume the same is true for 2.0.

Buggy to get with lots of trash problems, no effect and highly resisted... yep uber for druids. Maybe the next summit will put to useful since it will never be on par with any other classes epic.

flat out delicioso
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 14 2004 at 5:27 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is probably the single most useless epic out of them all. Sure, it has hp/mana but that's about it. The effect, Season's fury, is a joke (not to mention the fact it is still broken and does nothing 3 months after OoW launch).
RE: Not Really
# Dec 14 2004 at 8:16 AM Rating: Good
It increases the damage on *incoming* nukes. In other words, you cast this on a mob and the next 15 nukes that land (druid, wizard, mage, or otherwise) do more damage. On the surface, it does look a little low, but those who have it will be able to tell us if it's useful in raids or not. To me, that's what this effect seems to be the most useful for. For those that play pvp (I do not), this effect would be pretty useless since nukes on players are limited in damage to begin with.

If it turns out that the 5% increase isn't enough, I'm sure Sony will get petitions about it.

<sarcasm>Then again, we all know SOE hates druids.</sarcasm> ;-)

Add in the damage bonus from Improved Damage focus, AA ID focus, Bard songs such as Call Of The Muse. Thats like mad damage.
