I suddenly saw Instructor Mussin in say, and lots of it and tried to look him up, but apparently he doesn't exist and neither does his friend.

Standing outside Shar Vahls walls, I found them by jumping out the window when going up the ramp on the right in the throne room. They are on the western side of the "plateu" the city is on.
Don't respond to hails, but seem to give lessons to all the recruits which are listed in the npc list.

| Shar Vahl is the city that the Vah Shir call home. The Vah Shir originally lived on Norrath on the continent of Odus, but during a great battle, the blast that created the Hole on that continent sent a huge chunk of rock from the planet, which came to rest on the moon of Luclin. The Vah Shir decided to build their home on the crater this created, using the new crater walls as a natural defense, and adapted quickly to the planet that they now reside on. |

I'm lousy at directions but here it goes. Stand on the bridge, the one connecting Shar Vahl with Shadeweavers, with you back towards Shadeweavers. Head towards the merchant Chialle, go straight past her. In a few feet there will be a door. Go through do to see Bindarah.

i have yet to see a player that was KOS around Shar Vahl that hadnt killed guards and worked to get negative faction but then again i havent spent as much time in my home town as i prolly should so be careful and have fun with the kitties

I have been playing this game for about 1 1/2 months now and I left for a couple weeks only to find my server unit with another server. I am on level 8 and I have no idea who I'm suppose to see to complete citizenship. I have my Tax papers so it's not Bindarah. Last thing I remember I need some acrylic and bandage and suppose to see some dude in a tavern but he is no longer there. I would like to level and start up Quests' but can't cause of the citizenship issue. Anyone can help it is appreciated..

have u talked to Mignah (spelling may not be right). He is on the second floor of the bar in the first building you come to when you enter the Hollowshade side of the city from the center part. Just /say personal acrylia slate

Okay I'm doing the newbiew beastie quest for the claws, I've made the handwraps and now the guildmaster has told me to combine in my sewing kit the handwraps + 2 young hopper claws + forged fasteners..my question is the forged fasteners? Are they something you have to make with Blacksmithing? I've tried to go to a forge and search for the recipee but come up with nothing. Is it something you buy? and if so where do you get it? Or does it drop off a creature however unlikely? Some help would be greatly appreciated

Okay, I screwed up my BST's citizenship quest a long time ago.. is there a way to fix it?? Go up to her and say "I need a new application?" or go to the guild master and ask... My beast is now level 30 something, not sure how big a deal this quest is at this level.

she is near the south bridge, you will see 3 doors unmarked not far from the bridge, she is in one of them. I still need the place where I can get a slate. Also find the banker to get your tax sheet stamp after seeing her.

Playing on UK server in Shar Val pit.
Trying to get scorpion blood and Xara bile. I get pebbles covered in xsara bile is there a way to get the bile off the pebbles?
I was playing last night for 3 hours and not once did any scorpion blood drop also even scorpions who conned dark blue were killing me around 50% of the time. Any tips as to what a level 3 shaman should get in terms of armor or weapons to defeat more easily those scorpions I think for a newbie quest this has to be the toughest. Are they trying to discourage Val Shir shamen? lol
Maybe I should level up a bit first but it says the quest is for lvl 1-3. I'm at lvl 3 at the moment...

No, you need to get vials of xakra bile. They're a semi-rare drop off the Xakra larva. (Not to be confused with xakra blood, which drops off of glowing xakra larva.)

What has been done to all the luclin zones? There is now this dense fog, indoors and out, that prevents even my kitty from seeing 10 feet in front of him. Sometimes an Ultravision item, like a summoned coldstone or the like, will help, but not always-although I may not be triggering it correctly.... Is it my video card? I do have a crappy card, a laptop-based ATI Mobility M6 with only 16 megs of video memory. The system is decent, PIII 1200 with half a gig of memory. I was running on a desktop with 256, a PIII 733 and a 64 meg GeForce256 card, and the video was the same, foggy and hard to see. I have tried jacking up gamma, but it just increased the glare. Anybody know what this is, or is it just a perminant state of fog that was added for effect? Any help would be appreciated.

Does anybody know where I can find the spell "Flash of Light"? Its a low level Shaman blind, and I haven't seen it anywhere. It really be useful to my ******** Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Flash of Light is one of the rewards for the Whisperlings quest. ( https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1497 )

Sadly, Flash of Light is not for sale anywhere in Shar Vahl. You'll need to do one of two things to get it: a) Make the trip to Shadowhaven (probably not a good idea unless you can get an invis, there's some rather nasty bandits blocking the way), or b) Find someone to bring a Flash of Light up to you. You might get lucky and find a nice person who'll give you one or sell it at cost. More likely you'll have to pay a few plat for it. Kinda like getting fire beetle eyes in Gfay. Or try doing the Whisperlings quest as detailed at https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1497 It's always possible they've fixed it so you get the Flash of Light scroll like you're supposed to.

Can someone tell me where to find the beastlord guildmaster please??
Go into the arena pit, through the arches there, hang a left down the stairs (right down stairs leads to warrior guildmaster), go around the curve, through the door, around the other curves, down some more stairs, and I think you hang a left in the room with all the scribes. He's behind one of those two doors, anyway.

My Wood Elf bard has safely traveled here, sing Invisible through Caverns and you will be fine.

I have yetafter 3+ yearsd seen a single race ise accepted that is KOS to the kitties/ (in factIksar necros are accepted unless they attack a guard{ my Shaman used to make potions that would port toons to shadeweaver and give them away to the rasces and or classes that normally have troubles just for that reason

OK all, help me out please. As you all know, a lvl 5 kitty bard can not get to another city on his or her own, so my question is, where in the heck do I find a percusion instrument in the city or shar vahl. I visited every npc I could find, quite extensively...Even used the eq atlas quide to see which loc's were listed as selling instruments. NO PERCUSION INSTRUMENTS ON THEM. Since I am supose to be a bard, and supose to start using my bard skills at lvl 5, I need one. If not, I have to waite till I am like lvl 13 to get a wind instrument or a brass insturment, but even then, it appearse that I need one of each to "cast" or sing my songs. It looks to me like the songs are instrument type sensitive...

You make your own percussion instrument. If you've done the citizenship quest and then given the acrylia slate to the appropriate person in your guild, he should have given you a quest to make a bowl using the Pottery skill. Do that quest and you'll end up with a drum.
Most bard songs don't REQUIRE the instrument, but to work the skill you will need to use an instrument with the proper type of song. Instruments only Increase the effect of a song of that type as opposed to singing it (having wrong instrument or a weapon equipped)

You don't buy a wheel.. Wheels are public use items. The main pottery area is north of the bank, past the arena building. The kilns are in there as well. Have fun.

Noticed a new mob in the pit called Grimling Runt. Is there any information on their drops. So far I have gotten tongues and dirty beads. Any idea about what those might be good for?
i could really use some help, it appears i was never issued an initiates cloak, which up till now wasnt a problem, but now i need the darn thing to progess any farther as a beastlord, because i have to hand it in with my first set of claws to the guildmaster. i still have my slate and my notarized application. please if anyone could help. i petitioned the gm-- of coarse no answer-----

You gotta pick up where you left off. I think once you have the slate and have been notarized, you can go back to the Guildleader and he will take care of you. Have you seen the King? You may have to do that too!!!

How do I get into the pit? The walls appear to be too steep to get down and get back up again. I must be missing the area.

Run down the sides of the walls. The south bridge, by the recruits, offers the easiest descent.
