No, it means the database contains an error, which happens occasionally. Not often considering the volume of items they have to process.

I've heard some of the stacking rules have been changed. Has anyone heard if you can stack MP II items?
Charmed PC's

Not sure as to when you couldn't, but I have been succesful in rooting charmed group members in SplitPaw. I did it apx 3 weeks before PoP came out. I am not sure if SOE has changed this or not, and if they did change it when they did. I am also on a blue server and am not sure if that affects it either. And btw it is fun if you a wizzy with kei, fom, and have all your best AoE's, stuns, and dd's up when ya get charmed, hehe. Last time I got charmed I watched helplessly as I annihilated my whole party, it sucked, but was rather fun to watch, lol.

From what i have read Mana Pres will not stack with any other mana pres 1 2 or 3 so if i had a BAM and the ring from PoK Fine antique ring i think. The two effects will not stack both mana pres 2. but the fine cut, diamon inlaid mask and the fine antique ring mask has spell haste 2 ring has mana pres 2 both will work.

The same type of effect wll not stack with the higher or lower lvl of the same effect. mana pres will not stack with mana pres haste not with haste. thats kinda confusing but best i can explain

Mana Pres 2 will stack with another MP2. It will not interfere with any other mana effect as long as it's not a mana preservation.
The game will use the highest level of something you have. Example: If you have 2 items with MP2, they will stack. But if you have 2 items with MP2 and 1 item with MP3 it will go with the MP3 and ignore the MP2 items.
In order to stack, the effect must be identical and of the same level.
cant wait

Why do you say a level 45 add, it says Allowable targets all. I t would ssem to me that may be a preferd form Group preservation in many situations. I would recomend explaining this spell to your group and have your Healer call for it. &>

You can do it your own way
Long as its done my way

I have a Black Alloy Medallion (MP2) and a Platinum Armband (MP1) and the only item that procs is the BAM and I tested my low level spells on it. So that's cool...new slot to fill ;-)

Do the focus effects stack (such as haste items)? Will a Mana Preservation II stack with any other Mana effects? Anyone who knows, drop me a line. Thanks
# Aug 27 2002 at 1:36 PM Rating: Good
There are really two questions here.

1st) Do focus items in the same family stack? No they do not. In this case a Mana Preservation 2 item will take care of all spells up to 44. The Mana Preservation 1 focus item will not "activate". When you get the MP3 item you will no longer see the MP2 or MP1 items "activate".

2nd) Do focus items stack? Yes, they do. For instance if a lvl 24 cleric had an Improved Healing 2 item, a Mana Preservation 2 item, and a Enhancement Haste 2 item then when casting Greater Healing the items would increase healing up to 20%, lower mana cost up to 10%, and decrease casting time up to 30%.

Hope this helps.

Wrong on one point:

Enhancement Haste works on Buffs. A Heal is not a buff.

Ok, well... I have two items that both have 'Extended Enhancment II' as a focus effect, now I know that if I have an item with EEI and EEII, EEII will over-ride EEI... but what if I have two items with EEII? Do they stack with one another and give me a total of a 30% extension to my buffs, or does only one work while the other does nothing?
RE: Re: Stacking

No, two EEII items will not give you a 30% effect.
# Aug 27 2002 at 8:09 AM Rating: Default
Haste items don't stack....

And as you progress in levels these items work on the higher spells.

I.E. You have all 3 levels of MP items. MP 1 would work on a 9th level spell, where as the MP 2 item doesn't seem to ... "proc". I have the BAM, ODS and Cougar Claw Earrings - my earliers spells seem covered by the CC Earrings, not the ODS or the BAM.
# Aug 27 2002 at 11:52 AM Rating: Decent
I only have a BAM and it seems to proc, if you will, on every spell regardless of the level (up to 44th level that is). As I do not have a mana pres 1 item I cannot say which would proc when.
heh heh heh

There may be a difference in the two, divine vigor adds 100 to you max hp, you tnen need to regen or get healed to max. I have not tried Divine Glory but perhaps it adds 100 and it is there without a heal or regen. Just a thought, I am 53 now and need to buy DG to test my theory.

Thats all?

I really hope this spell does more than just buff your HPs by 100. The level 39 spell Divine Vigor does that, and for almost half the mana, and casts faster too. Guess Ill have to get level 53 and find out, =P
# Feb 23 2002 at 5:36 AM Rating: Decent
hmm i wonder... if a lvl 45 goes LD and thereby becomes a NPC can you use this on him? =) just a thought ill have to try it on LD people =)
# Jul 08 2002 at 11:41 AM Rating: Decent
No, you can't cast any spells on a LD player - harmful or beneficial. You should know that by level 59 =).

i assume that this is a proc spell like CoS. would you say that this is more or less effective compared to jolt or even cinder jolt?
Bad spell
# Feb 14 2002 at 7:17 PM Rating: Decent
This is probally one of the most annoying spells ever given to us by verdant. It totally destroys a mob without leaving loot or exp. It is very expensive to cast and has a long recast. The only use i have ever been able to put to this spell is killing low level yard trash.(those of you who have been to unrest know what that phrase means)
RE: Bad spell
# Jun 29 2002 at 7:18 AM Rating: Decent
Sounds like this would be for a last resort solution to an add that can't be mezzed for crowd control. Better to lose the loot, than to lose the group, yes?
RE: Bad spell
# Jul 07 2002 at 6:05 AM Rating: Decent
yeah, but if you cant handle a lvl 45 add you've got a serious problem. and if it's more than 1, it's not likely this spell is going to help much either. actually just parking a mob somewhere will leave you better off. and if it goes bad, just EVAC... )
