23rd Anniversary: Whispers in the Dark - Group Mission  

The overseer adds can be a problem cause a wipe easily but it is very easy to manage proactively.

The overseer will spawn in the second large room, just past the 2 guards at the doorway. There are 3 more standing around the rock out to the left. There are 5 standing to the right. Most importantly, a significant number of mobs path through the tunnel and along the left wall.

Pulling the overseer into the tunnel sets you up for the pathing adds. Pulling the overseer away and to the right causes him to path to the rock, so you get the 2 mobs at the tunnel and the 3 mobs at the rock.

You can not pull the overseer with hate's attraction and he sees invis.

So...

Have someone run for update 7, then come back into the room. As soon as they enter they can walk off the edge and levi down to camp. From step 6, this is enter the room and go to the right between the right rock and the larger center piller. Kill those 5 mobs. Then the 3 by the rock. Then the 2 in the tunnel entrance. You can avoid all the mobs that path. If you got step 7 update 1st, these mobs should count for step 8.

Once you loot the chest (being sure the player who needs the clicky loots this chest item and the item on the overseer after), go back to the overseer, and just like how you got the update and levied down to camp, just walk into the 2nd room and immediately step off the ledge and levi down. Pull the overseer to that spot away from the roamers.

If you have an issue with adds, they can be AE mezed, mostly, but I had so many my first go that I was actually hitting the target limit. Burned and exodus, thank goodness for ADV loot window.

I 3 boxed this with old gear and wiped repeatedly pulling the boss due to crazy pathing. The boss pops at -220 -431 so you should kill the two static mobs near there and mobs in that room during the Defeat several Shak Dratha 0/8 Shadeweaver's Thicket step.

The boss had a lot of HP and summons a guard to assist twice.

Reward was a 9797hp/9592mana range item.

Can you complete the mission if you do this bonus item hand in? Does Khrix and Owl Totem drop multiple times per run?
yes, the combined turn in updates the quest and spawns the chest

After zoning in:
Mission takes place inside the tunnel you are next to
Basically head north through the next 3 rooms and kill mobs or invis though
suggestion = to clear mobs around where the named will be before the named spawns


Bonus Loot:
Loot Both "Khrix" & "Owl Totem" on the same toon
Talk with Spiritist Nathra back at the zone in ( succor spot )
say "What suitable Spirit Anchor" and receive a "Empty Medicine Bag" = 2 slot bag
Combine both "Khrix" & "Owl Totem" in the "Empty Medicine Bag" = Makes a "Spirit-filled Medicine Bag" Item
Hand in the "Spirit-filled Medicine Bag" to Spiritist Nathra inside the instance
the person that does the hand in Receives the "Spirit of the Lost" Item


Final Loot Chest:
Located at the succor spot / zone in / next to "Spiritist Nathra"
You can task add until you open the chest at the very end
Mission Locks when you open the last loot chest
Then mission gives you a 6 hour lockout minus the time already spent in mission when you open the last chest
Chest had 1 item (ranged slot)

Mobs:
pathing sucks
levitate works in the zone
Trash mobs have ~50 million HP
Human mobs "A Loda Kai ..." = Snare-able, Root-able, Mez-able, Head-shot-able, harmony-able
Alien mobs "A Shak Dratha ..." = Immune to snare, Root-able, Mez-able, Head-shot-able, Harmony-able
only the named see invis
final named "Shak Sratha Overseer" = has ~230 million HP
