| A lone, mountainous island surrounded by an endless and serene sea is the manifestation of the Plane of Tranquility. A mountain ridge runs through the center of the isle along its length and is impassable, thrusting impossibly high into the clear azure sky of the plane. White clouds gently move about its peaks. A long, narrow waterfall can be seen cascading down the mountains, falling into a large lake that feeds several calm streams and brooks that wind their way through the land.
Stretching along one side of the island is a beautiful tropical beach lined with palms and crystalline waters. In the evening, shimmering auroras play across the deepening indigo sky. The night sky appears almost as a velvety black drape flecked with a multitude of winking stars. The only structures on the island are a few buildings and landmarks very modest in their construction. Peaceful koi ponds and sand gardens are found about the island. A group of scholars resides here, seeking a better understanding of the nature of reality and the role of mortals in it. Quellious, the graceful and innocent goddess, is the embodiment of tranquility and would be the head of the land if she were present. Unfortunately, Quellious cannot be found. It is believed that the plane itself is the embodiment of her consciousness for this particular chapter of history, though none can be certain. Update: Quellious has recently appeared, purpose unknown. |

Tried it on a whim and zoned in to tranq with a lvl 1 toon.

You say, 'I would love to help.'
Amalissa Dawntender is pleased that you are willing to listen to her request, 'I seek assistance in mitigating the influence of Hate and Fear. They have encroached upon the Plane of Tranquility in a way that seems impossible. I call upon any heroes, few or many, large or small, to do battle with the denizens of Hate and Fear. I must warn anyone [considering this] that while most any battle-hardened hero can contribute to this cause, only the mightiest forces should consider taking on the likes of Cazic-Thule, Innoruuk, Maestro of Rancor, dracoliche, Dread, Fright, and Terror.'
You say, 'Nonetheless, I am considering this.'
Amalissa Dawntender can barely contain her excitement, 'I am grateful that you would join the cause! Are you considering an assault upon the [Plane of Hate] or the [Plane of Fear]?'

Amalissa Dawntender exhibits a look of concern, 'As I previously mentioned, while most any battle-hardened hero can contribute to this cause, only the mightiest forces should consider taking on the likes of Innoruuk and Maestro of Rancor.'

New NPC has appeared in Tranquility: Quellious.
This is not the "Avatar of Quellious the Tranquil" that offers previous years anniversary tasks -- that NPC spawns over near the Plane of Earth.
This one is seated in the sickbay area; in the vicinity of all the NPCs involved in PoP flagging for Disease, Nightmare, Torment, etc.

In the little description can we take out the part where it says she is not present? Now that she has resurfaced after like ten years.
She's back, albeit with a new look.
She's been added to the Find menu now, as well.
I know that my rogue and bard used it to max their pick-lock skills but is there another use? like maybe a quest? when they successfully picked the lock i never saw anything that hinted what it was for.

I clicked on the stone by accident and got in. I don't know what's up but this little toon would die real quick.
hehe-- honey this is a peaceful zone and the only people who die here are the ones who do it deliberately- and i still haven't figured that one out unless the jump from something or drown

just saw a level 27 in this zone. Level requirement is much, much lower now.

I just zoned in with my 43 bst. Must have lowered the lvl requirement to get in. Haven't been able to get into any of the connecting planes though.

ok, here is the deal. i am lvl 46, so that isnt the problem. when i click on the PoT stone, nothing happens. then, i will just walk around or do whatever, and after about 5 minutes the screen will turn black and the message "you have been disconnected" will come up. im not sure why it says this, because i dont go LD. at first i thought it was just a coincidence. then after about the 15th time, i knew something was up. and this only happens when i click on the PoT stone, it has never happened before. anyone know what is wrong? i really need to know how i can get into PoT.

I'm guessing you dont have the expansion for it. Cause that used to happen to me for guild hall until I got the DoN exp.

Expansion is not it... PoK is part of same expansion...

Is there another name for the Plane of War? I can't find anything on it. There is a map of the zone @ eq-toolbox though.....

Theres is a zone called "powar" it just never went live. If you look in your everquest directory you will see files called powar.srd, powar_obj.s3d, powar_sounds.eff, and ext. Why they never sent it live im not realy sure lore reason i guess.
Completely different zone, thats potactics you can also find them files under your everquest directory

Plane of War never went live. It is not to be confused with Plane of Tactics. Plane of Tactics is the zone where you find Rallos Zek. Plane of War, if you view it in a zone viewer, is an uncharted zone that is not even complete. Some walls are missing, invisible walls are in place that aren't finished, ect. They just never used it. It has some cool music and graphics though. ;-)

Tactics was designed to be home to only VZ and TZ. PoWar was supposed to be the home of RZ, but the zone wasnt finished in time and there were alot of bugs, so they moved RZ to the pit in PoTactics.

The book on the template near PoK book(in PoT) is spinning now and when I click on it it say's it is locked and you are not hloding a key.WTF is this? Had aROG friend pick lock and still same thing for both of us...any idea what's up with this?
Is PoT similar to PoK where it just has ports to the planes, or do you hunt here?

yeah, i was just wondering what the best plane to lvl in at lvl 55 is? i am not sure wh ich one is the best experience can someone please enlighten me from their experience. thanks

Isn't there an NPC that you can hail to get a list of what all flags you have aquired already? Thought I read that somewhere but can't find it now.

Seer Mal Nae 'Shi, in PoK, will tell you what flags you have. She is located in the building by the PoT stone (in the room to the left as you enter).

you don't need to be flagged for innovation, disease or nightmare. complete the trial of execution in plane of justice to get flagged for valor and storms.
Can you share how to get the flags from PoN, PoD, etc? please.
I got one from the dragon in the dock in PoT. You have to stand directly underneath him to hail which took me awhile to figure out.

anyone have any good info about the flags.. ive manage to get the easiest ones so far poN PoF and PoD flags...cant seem to get others though
