Torden, the Bastion of Thunder

Some helpful info:

Any of the 4 nameds drops the Ring of Torden. Collect the 4 gems, combine in the Ring and you get Enchanted Ring of Torden, which is a key to the Towers. The "door" to enter the Towers are next to the gargoyles in the bees area reached by clicking one of the 4 pads at the top level of each wing.

The four Towers are similarly classified, Earth, Fire, Air and Ice. The trash can drop the four Spheres, same adjectives as the Gems. The level 67 nameds up there, drop an Unadorned Symbol of Torden. Use that container to combine the 4 spheres and you acquire Symbol of Torden, which allows you to click into Agnarr's area.

These keys will port up a full group to each level.

Note that Spheres can drop rarely from trash in the lower levels but lot more common from Tower trash.

This character picked the jord side.
Once you start to see A jord skygge, A jord kriger and A jord far you are much closer to getting Etheral Parchment drops 1 out of 10 same for SP's.
A jord skygge have mean AE Stun, be warned!

Got the level message to check this place out, but the directions it gives "Take POK to PoTranquility once there head north until you reach a stone archway..." Looked all over for this archway (heading north as I zoned) and could not find it. Did find a faucet spewing yuk that took me to PoD, and a cave that took me to Runes of Lxanvom, but still could not find this place. Could some one post where this stone is I need to click on?

Ok,after searching all over the place, and adding labels to my map, I found the entrance to BOT, it is located in the southern NOT NORTHERN part of PoT, and is located on a wooden boardwalk. The loc is Neg 720 X Pos 1750. The clicky looks like a large Reddish Pink rock.

Here is a little info for anyone new to the zone, wanting to farm the minis. There is a lot of misinformation and it is spread all over the place so I will put it here.

4 minis in lower part of BoT. One for each wing (fire,water,air,earth). They are all on a 5 or 6 hour respawn, can't remember how long exactly at the moment. They all mitigate slow (except laef who is immune to slow) - a mob that mitigates slow will mitigate ANY slow. It does not matter if a Shaman, or Enchanter (or beastlord) casts it. (Despite a post saying fully slowable by shamans). However it is hard to land as they are very magic resistant. From my vast experience killing them I would say they are easiest to hardest to slow in this order: Oreen (easiest), Hreider, Gaukr, Laef(immune).

Procs: Gaukr-1500dd proc, Oreen-none, Laef-none, Hreider-500dd proc.

Heals: Each one will chain cast CHEAL as soon as it drops below 50% health until it is out of mana. Cheal only heals 7500 hp or whatever so it gives them about 10% health a shot or so. (If it gets above 50% it will continue to attack until reaching 49% again where it will cheal itself). Gaukr is the exception to this. Often he will just keep whacking away. Once they are done healing themselves they seem to hit alot harder and faster (just an observation but it seems to happen every time).

Loot: Most often you will get a ring of torden and prob a spec parchment too. (crap). Rarely, approx 1/10 times they will drop their respective ornate pant pattern/mold. A glyphed rune word will drop maybe 4/10 times, and one of the general items from their loot table will drop about 4/10 of the time. If you are very lucky you will get one of each, but expect to kill these guys many times and only get a ring and a spec (or just a ring).

Using an elemental pet via enchanter or mage is great for dps and makes them much easier. You can no longer charm earth mobs so if you want to use a pet on Gaukr, you will need to drag one over from one of the other wings.

Oh also, they will often attempt to gate if you pull them too far away from their spawn point, so either kill surrounding mobs, or have enough dps that you can drop it fast.

One of my guildmates ran into an interesting problem in BoT. They went to the upper east (I think it was) part of the zone when they pulled two ordinary looking mobs but all of a sudden nobody could heal!! Cleric couldn't heal; Ranger couldn't heal. Could cast the spell but it had no effect. After half the group had died, the ranger made a run for it but one of the giants liked him and kept summoning hiim back. Finally his shield disc ran out and he died. Anybody know what that “no heal” was about? Never ran into that before.

i need ornate molds trying to buy them but good i gto 2 pices and come to find out their rare and i'm getting raped on these peirces.. who drops the ornate molds and how rare is the drop.? and is it worth it for a sk to have full ornate armor? thx all :)
