Each class gets a specific suit of armor by talking to Bor Wharhammer. This is for classes that wear chain armor.
Bor Wharhammer says 'Greetin's t'ye ______! Isn't the area 'round 'ere so nice an' quiet? Such a departure from me old days; slaving o'er the forge t'create masterpieces! T'be 'onest, at times I do miss the old forge, but after I created me finest breastplate, it seemed as if nothing else I made could ever live up t'it. So I left me home to'wander the land an' see what I could learn o'the world. I 'ave learned quite a bit from the elders 'ere an' the skilled craftspeople in New Tanaan. I 'ave even devised a type o'emblem that will impart the magic o'tranquility into the user t'create planar armors from pieces o'energy found in the planes.' You say, 'What emblem?' Bor Wharhammer says 'Well, the emblems dinnae be easy t'craft but I will gladly give ye one fer the price of 500 platinum pieces. They allow a planes traveler with no craftin' skills t'create many fine pieces o'planar armor in a special, magical kit I also 'ave an' will throw in with the price. The kit acts as a focal point fer the wild magic energy o'the Planes. Ye will only be able t'use each emblem an' kit once when ye create the piece, 'owever I dinnae be goin' anywhere soon! Just venture back when ye need another an' dinnae ferget the coin!' You say, 'What about chain?' Bor Wharhammer says 'Ahhhhh ______! Chain armors, while not as sturdy as plate, provide so much more mobility if constructed properly. T'construct a piece o'chain armor, ye need t'combine a chain pattern, an emblem, various amounts of ethereal metal rings an' use one o'those crafty Tanaan smithin' 'ammers all within a furnace touched by Ro. Ethereal metal ring construction is another matter. Ye will need to combine a brick o'ethereal energy, an ethereal temper an' a file within a Tanaan forge. I would seek a skilled craftsperson t'make the rings fer ye; the emblem will enable ye t'craft the final armor piece no matter what yer skill be.' Handing Bor 500 pp will get you an emblem specific to your class and the Mystical Furnace of Ro, an 8-slot container useful only for combines involving ornate or elemental molds. The elemental molds drop in various zones. Basic recipe is: appropriate elemental chain pattern, class-specific emblem, tanaan smithing hammer, 1-3 ethereal metal rings. Combine in the Mystical Furnace of Ro. The final combine is no-fail. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I wanna see what the berserker elemental looks like. There's already a number of 65's on my server... and I'm sure there's plenty on others as well. And what with them being the closest thing to a tank in chain armor... well... I should think that their elemental gear should be pretty hardcore.

All the 250 triv items are cafted and tradable. The final combine is a no fail. Also all the "ornate" molds and patterns are tradable. EP armor paterns and molds are no drop, on most servers. And they only drop off of named mobs. BP patterns ONLY drop in TIME. Check out this link to the top Rangers in the game.

Has Anyone Seen or Made Askrs Thunderous Hauberk yet, if thats even the name of it? Its hard to believe that after all this time no one across all servers hasnt done it, what are the stats?

The Elemental Chestpieces drop in Time only as far as I have been told, and no one has yet to see too much. Give it a month and AL should post something. It better be really really nice though.

I think he meant that all chest patterns drop in PoT. You need the no-drop pattern to make it, for every class.
After all this time im really confused, there has been NO ranger chest item created yet? The rogue and shaman chest armor was listed with full stats and effects well before the time that AL first made it into time. And even if what you are saying is correct, does that mean that every single chain chest pattern that has droped in time from the month or more that it has been open now, evern single roll has been won by a rogue or a shaman? I find that hard to believe.

If people were rolling for PoTime items something is seriously wrong.... its going to 99.9% chance that every guild in PoTime is using a DKP system, as ours is.

No Combine is NO FAIL just need a G smith to make the rings for u and pray u can get the molds...i wanna know where the hell u find the forge tho

I just want to make sure I have this correct before trying to combine this.
In order to make this 'NO DROP' armor, do I need to have 250 Smithing skill to combine the mold, emblem, rings, and hammer?

maybe because the zones where the patterns drop aren't going to see many chars in them below 60.. only pattern I've seen dropped in Halls of Honor, for a robe.
Anyone know?
why do you want to even try to get it before 60... at 60 you still cant even wear it. note that it is required level 65.
