Yes he can be. I have done it. Now granted when your at the level of the game where you can do this, its simply for seeing if you CAN single group him, which is why me and my friends attempted and were successful at doing. Oh and i finished my VT key.

Complete and utter lie. Emp cannot be one grouped, you'd know this, if you had even taken the time to look up the event. There are 8 adds in his room that immediatly respawn on their death, 4 are unmezzable and must be off tanked. Your 1 group killed Emp story is untrue. (unless you "1 Group" is 30 people).

Try this: use a lvl 70 Anguish geared shadowknight with 14k HP unbuffed or so... using AE hate spell on the 8 adds- after getting agro on them he walks them over to Emperor and adds DPS there. The adds don't hit very hard at all. Warrior tank in equivalent gear and AA on Emperor won't need much in the way of healing. 4 slots left, 2 healers 2 DPS and bling you're done.

Just because you are not able to do something does not mean it can't be done.

1 group to get a VT key and kill Aten? I want some of what you're smoking please. Stano's is not the best, but it's the best alot will see. I think for the amount of investment it takes to get, it's a great reward.

Every item in the game can be better guys ie...better ac or better effect...I think your missing the point. This is a good item ac hp stats and the affect is self only buff (for when you dont have a good buffer with you). I dont ever think effects are there to replace the buffs you would get form other classes of equal lvl...the effects are there to help fill in the holes when you dont have certain buffing classes with you. Ths shaman ornate BP has a clicky Swift like the wind (at 62 they already cast that buff, but with BP they now have an extra spell slot available.

Its like that old glass half full or half empty saying, focus on the good and throw out the bad. But I also agree that we should complain if we find somthing that needs to be upgraded so some criticism is good (I just totally contradicted my post. LOL =)

I forgot the name.. again, but it's a self buff, 300 hp, 35 AC and 30 MR..... Sadly doesn't stack with Focus line spells, but who has Focus 24/7 anyways? With Primal/Prismatic Focus isn't anything more than a few stat points and some HP, I'll take the MR, AC... shrug, sure why not.

Yes, most rogues have max stats by the time they get something like this. That's why they look for hp gear instead of str/dex/agi gear. Focus of the Seventh gives you a lot more hp than Shield of the Arcane does.

Yes most rogs have max stats at 55 as in the 255 stat cap anyway, but after 65,70 and 8 lvl's of planer power type aa's the stats on this BP are really crap. and actually there are more players than you might think that don't have max stats because of whatever reasons, ( no money, small guild, part time players........) and when they finally hit 55, have a few flags, or scrounged up enough pp to buy the pattern, they rush to PoT to make there BP all excited and voila they got....... a slightly less crappy BP. When they could scrounge half of that money and got a Bazu BP which is a much better BP.
Myself I'm currently 66, max str, sta, and agi with planer power 3 and still wearing my trusty ol haze panther ,so when some one says the rog ornate gear sucks, well yeah face it it does.

I believe the spell you are looking for is Shield of the Arcane, the level 61 flavor of the int caster shielding line. This site lists the warrior breastplate as having it, and in every other line of quested armor, pure melees have always shard the same effect on chestpieces. This would mean that both monks and rogues also have the same effect on their chestpieces. The higher PoP quested armor, I believe, has Avatar on the pure melee chest pieces.

I am a bit dissapointed that the monk chestpiece of this level has a 60% haste bardsong effect(note: Warsong of Zek which will allow a player to exceed the normal haste cap) and we rogues got jack squat on our chestpiece. I have not checked out the other chestpieces but why can we not get a similar effect on our BP? or ANY effect for that matter. I really think rogues got the shaft in POP. I mean how many monk / ranger / war / knight weapons are there out there? let alone 2handers with ratios better than 1, 13/19 weapons with procs, etc. What have the rogues gotten in comparason. I am not asking for a 17/17 rogue poker, but a little variety would be nice. How bout a few nodrop 15/20-15/23 weapons that drop in PON maze, or from POS giant nameds or lords, or maybe some off of mechanical dragon. I mean really, every rogue I know has one of like 5 or 6 weapons. (some sort of primal, ragebringer, ishinear, acid pocked, reis battle worn dirk maybe a HoH here and there.) Maybe its just my server but we only have like 7 or 8 khalshezars and bloodbaths all together that I can think of, and all these are within 2 guilds. /shrug.

*EDIT* I'm not saying I dont think the stats arent phenomenal, I'm just saying compared to several other melee classes, rogues are getting their rears spread rather widely in this expansion if you cannot kill RZ or MM etc....

The monk piece has the same effect as the rogue and warrior, Shield of the Arcane (see my post above). The bard BP has the effect Warsong of Zek. As for the elemental armor, monks, rogues, and warriors all have Avatar on the chestpiece.

I think the monk piece you are referring to is the elemental armor (much harder to get than the ornate). The monk ornate piece is Chestwraps of Enlightenment (go see, so far noone has posted an effect on that either). Many people are making that mistake, no worries. Also, if the post above is correct, sounds like that Shield of Maelin spell many of the tranquility pieces have on them (hp 350 AC39 MR40 at lvl 65). Nice piece, would like to see what the elemental armor has on it for rogues!

The BP is disappointing, in comparison to the other armor drops in the series. But if you look at the other pieces of the Stanos gear, they have some very nice stats and effects as well.

Have these been updated? Its the only item listed that doesent have an effect.. was wondering if this was posted before the armors were tweaked a bit.. I mean if the legs summon poison, the gloves add spell haste, the arms add regen, the boots and bracers add vengeance.. the bp must have ::something::...

It has 10 more HP and some better resists then a skyshrine BP. The skyshrine BP is from 2 expansions ago and can be multiquested for less than 50k. The molds for this new line of quest armor only drops off of boss mobs in tier 1-3 planes.

Given the stats and rarity vs. comparable equipments, this bp isn't really that fantstic.
