These are extremely common drops off of the sonic wolves found in the southern isles of Hollowshade moor.
lol, who would pay a plat for this? use the plat to buy food and water, fight with your fists.
pass it off to a lvl 1 rogue (nontwink) its slightly better than their beginner dagger, they will like the look too. thats about all you can do with this POS
(only downside to the spear for a lvl 1 rogue is its slower) (beginner dagger is 3/25 i belive)

really dont know why to turn earring [or bracer] for this, only faction gains are positive about this quest

Faction gains are the reason for doing this quest. This is a quest not to get a spear, but to get faction.

Argh, why can't you fish when you've got a fishing spear equipped?!?!
It's not a fishing pole. You can hunt fish with it, just dive into the water and poke the little fishies.

You can also get this off of a human camp in Oasis by the water, but it gives bad factions to the humans of course.

Or you can kill the barbarians at Lake Rath for it. I don't know if you lose faction. I saw some iksar dude kill one of the barbs and didn't loot. I picked it up. Pretty crappy actually.
