You can get bound in city near wall. You good races will have to jump off the boat and swim to shore. The dragoons and wanders rarely come to this area.

Yes, had a lvl 11 Iksar shaman, run up to the gate and was dead before I could say Boo..:(

I came over at 16th (Troll SK), and had no problems. There are no bones in this zone, so bring a few stacks.

Hey solo, you should go to oasis of mar, on the shore there are caimen and crocs that u can fight in a group(crocs are Great exp at 12) aslo with your undead spells u would do good in beffalen since they have a xp bonus in that zone.

Would really like to know if Erudite Agnostic Mages are KOS. Are perminantly adventuring with
a dark elf so this seems to be our inroads to Kunark but if I am KOS then things might get tricky.

Like mentioned in the description of the zone MoBs here have the same name yet vary in lvl getting progressively higher as you cross the zone towards the FM zone.
Pulling to the valley leading to the FM is accually good exp from about 30 to low 40s where you can move to the outside and sometimes (if you are brave) inside of Karnor's Castle. Most loot is trash or cash but good exp IMO. Always good to have a zone close =).
Watch your pulling at night though as the Dragoons, guardians of the zone, begin making there rounds following the paths around the zone only stopping to kill everything they can reach. Nasty SKs you dont wanna mess with in your Mid 30s.

Yes, you are KoS and you almost definitely be KoS for the entire life of your character. The only mobs that raise Venril Sathir faction, which is the faction that everything at the outpost is on, are some high level Kunark dragons.
The only reliable way to raise outpost faction is handing in Sarnak Warbraids to the Captain in the outpost and you need non-KoS faction to do that.

I must give this account of my death in ot. I being a Erudite Necro did the quest to raise my faction to indifferent. Whilst I was in the bank in skele form ( gaining mana ) I was attacked by a npc called Senria. It I have no idea weather male or female for I never got a chance to see it, cast 4 spells. 3 fizzled and the 4th killed me. Then steped into shadows and disappeared. I have never heard of this npc. Prehaps you have if so please write something. It is not on the beastiary list. Again the name of this npc is SENRIA. BEWARE

Are you on a PvP server? NPCs never fizzle when casting, so if you saw "it" fizzle, then it had to have been another player. Also, if you were dead, how did you see it step into the shadows?

There's a new Ogre in the building with Admiral Tylix. Anyone know what he is for? He doesn't respond to my hails (DESK) and I gave him a rusty scyth and he just thanked me "Thank you Kaminaa for the rusty scyth" but didn't equip it. He's either a warrior or SK since he's decked out in plate armor but no weapon.

There are NPCs now in most of the cities who talk about the realm of heroes. The usually have ******* (IE: Gogu the Smasher, Something the Valient, Soandso the Brave, etc.) I have seen them in Freeport, Qeynos, and Felwithe so far and ive heard about them in most of the other cities as well. Im not sure what the realm of heroes is, but I have a feeling it has something to do with the Alter Planes since they say their god came and told them to come hang out with them in the realm of heroes. Most of them seem to talk about their childhood as well. Not sure if this has any important meaning but it probably does. Maybe these NPCs are for some Uber high level quest? Seems the most likely explanation to me.

GO TO TREANTS: best loot/exp that you will find anywhere until 30. They are in SK... if you are an sk, you most likely don't care about your druid factions, and I hope not, since they won't like you after you beat on em for a while... Have fun and level fast!
After diving off the boat to the Evil Outpost, I swam ashore and walked a little ways down the beach. As I walked forward, I came face to face with a gnome by the name of Nekexin Virulence, who was just standing along the seaside on the beach. He conned indifferent and red to me, and gave no reply when I hailed him. He can be found at loc 3667, -800, -148 in the Overthere. From what little I know, this gnome is who will combine the 4 essences for the Cleansed Spirit of Kunark portion of the Druid Epic Quest.

I love this zone. When I get my druid high enough I might take her here but my question is where ARE the low level creatures? Right now my level 37 wizard is hunting at the ledge and that is the only place that I have been in the entire zone. So where and how do you get to the place where the low level creatures are?

Low level mobs can be found east of the evil outpost in the plains and hills near the northern coast (monsters with level 14-17 or so). I went from 17th to 20th very quickly here soloing with my necro.

I found out that the only way to raise faction with the docks is to do the sarnak war braids quest. Give Captain Rottgrime (outside bank) 4 sarnak war braids from berserkers. This will raise faction. Also, I am a Erudite Wizard with Agnostic deity. The goons do not aggro to me (whew!). Just my 2cp

This sarnak you are referring to is a named sarnak called Zorash. Zorash will spawn at any of the sarnak-infested ruins located in the Overthere. He is of particular interest to Iksar Shadow Knights as he will sometimes drop a pair of rare boots needed for the Dreadscale Greaves quest (the boots are a rare drop). Zorash is not very tough himself, definitely was weaker than a Sarnak Knight I thought. The trouble is getting to him as he is usually surrounded by at least 2 or more other sarnaks.

If you want to fight him without worrying about his buddies, go find a druid and have him harmony the surrounding mobs. As long as they aren't standing shoulder to shoulder you should be able to pull him out wih out trouble, oh make sure you harmony yourself a path out hehe.

I dropped a Sarnak Courier the other night. I'm an 18th lvl Iksar Necro so I would assume he's around this lvl. He dropped an "Iksar Hand =/=" Not sure about the symbols at the end but it has something like that. Anyway don't see him listed.

Its for a monk shackle quest and the Courier is just an uncommon sarank spawn, seen him in LOIO a few times.

Are the higher mobs just like the lower ones near the outpost, in the fact that nothing will aggro on you except the Sarnaks, even though all but the Succulants con ready to attack?
I remember when I hunted there from 19 to 27, I could med in the fields while rhinos and tigers walked right over me. Just wondering if the 30+ rhinos and tigers did that as well.

I have seen (and felt) the Kunark Rhino, Sabertooth Tigers/Tigress, and Stonegazer Cockatrice attack w/o being provoked. This occured at the SE corner "3 camp" and the zone to Frontier Mountains "the shelf". The entire west side of this zone is very dangerous to the unprepared for this reason. The Succulants are still their passive Indifferent selves no matter what their level. Along the Northern shoreline from about -2000 to the wall east and south beyond the "mudhole" to the Warslicks Wood zone is great hunting for level 16-23 players. IMHO, far superior to the Oasis. Few bad situations occur with an alert group as nothing but the occationaly Sarnak will attack unprovoked (which is much easier to deal with then SG or Spectres). Non-Evil races may be bound just inside the Outpost wall near the ocean w/o any danger.
*One thing to note is that a Rhino runs faster then SoW but slower then a Bard and his drums.

sounds like a drink...) anyways along the beach on your way to warsilk woods (if ya follow beach to edge of zone) there is a gnome standing along the beach. any clue what the deal with him is?
Nebulon is his first name, don't remember his last. I believe he's part of an epic quest. Not sure which one though...
