Kuughrak Bonecrush says, 'What?! What do you want, Goblin? Can't you see that Kuughrak is busy?' Kuughrak pauses and glances around, as if lost or in deep thought for a moment, 'Well, Kuughrak would be busy if Kuughrak had knowledge of what to do, but Nureya finds it funny to keep Kuughrak waiting for so long. Maybe if Kuughrak had [assistant], waiting would not be so long.'
You say, 'perhaps I could be of assistance?' Kuughrak Bonecrush narrows his eyes and snorts as he studies _______, 'Fine, Kuughrak doesn't have the patience to argue with that. If you want to be of any use and not irritate Kuughrak further, you will bring me Elyrian's Journal and the Earthen Steel Hammer. Your first step will be to find Dajrool. Ask him about the journal. And bring him this note along with a Petrified Wooden Handle held by the forest giants. The goblin will know what to do -- and he will do it because he fears Kuughrak!' You receive Note to Dajrool. Head to Burning Woods. Head to Firiona Vie. Dajrool is a goblin wandering in Firiona Vie, he dies often due to attacking Drachnids. He has a quick respawn of a few minutes. You say, 'Hail, Dajrool Waggletongue' Dajrool Waggletongue squints his left eye and chatters his teeth before speaking sharply in a high pitched, scratchy voice, 'What? What do you waaaaant, _______?! Hrm? I clearly see that all you provide is bit of... Hrm... nausea from hiiiideous face and that... rrreeepulive stench wafting about you! Go away before you make me ill... though it may be too late.' Dajrool curls his lip and smacks his tongue as if having a foul taste in his mouth. Dajrool Waggletongue reads the note, chattering his pointed teeth as he scans each line. He then utters an incomprehensible curse in his scratchy, high-pitched tenor before addressing _______, 'Very well! You brought stiff woodstick needed for hammer! Here! Take hammer and go! And tell obtuse, clumsy, stupid Kuughrak to leave Dajrool alone!' You receive Earthen Steel Hammer. You say, 'journal' Dajrool Waggletongue chatters his teeth for a moment and then ***** his head, 'So what of it, ______? You want journal? Well... nothing in this world is given without payment. I tell you what, ______. You do [something for me:What can I do for you as payment?], yes? And I... I will give you journal.' You say, 'What can I do for you as payment?' Dajrool Waggletongue says, 'Aaah! Of course you will, if you want journal, ______. I ask only one thing... and that is that you bring me ornate bracer that sniffling, wretched sarnak... even more wretched and rrreeepulsive than you, _______, stole from me. You will find thieving, dragon-lizard where sarnak gather. I believe that... parents would call him Rusdai. Yes... Rusdai the thieving little whelp that took bracer. Go, Dark Elf. Bring me bracer and I give you journal... good as new.' Head to Chardok. Put this in your chardok_2.txt map file for Rusdai's location. P 112.6636, 289.4477, -289.0581, 127, 0, 0, 2, Rusdai Head back to Firiona Vie. Dajrool Waggletongue gives a hoarse, throaty chuckle and stashes the bracer in his taut loincloth, 'Good! Good, ______. Now, I keep my side of bargain. Here is journal. Oh... yes, there is one more thing I conveniently did not mention and that is journal is incomplete. Imbecile whelps in Nurga thought they could kill me... but they failed! You have journal... but missing pages there in Nurga still. Consider information courtesy for fine job in getting bracer. If you kill Nurga whelps, then good. If not, then fine... but go now! I cannot stand Dark Elf stench anymore.' Darjool gives you Torn Journal. Head to Mines of Nurga. You have fashioned the items together to create something new: Elyrian's Journal. Kuughrak Bonecrush says, 'Good! For such a puny ______ you have done well. Well, puny compared to Kuughrak anyway! Now that I have the hammer and journal, I do not need Nureya as much. But we still need her magics. Here, _______. Elyria's journal says that we need the Spectral Blade of Mist and the Rusty Mithril Sword. Give those blades to Nureya along with this note. She will know what to do next, and she will do it because she, like Dajrool, is afraid of the mighty Kuughrak!' Receive: Commision for Nureya. Head to City of Mist. Head to Kedge Keep. Nureya raises one eyebrow as she reads through the commission, then she examines the two blades carefully. Without a word, the beautiful Teir`Dal enchantress begins to chant in her haunting, otherworldy soprano. The pair of blades in her hands radiate as she draws them together, where they meld into a single elegant weapon that seems almost vulgar in Nureya's delicate hands. Slowly, she extends her arms toward ____, offering the blade, 'It can be improved and Kuughrak can assist you with this. Return the weapon to him, along with the spikes of a fire wurm and the spine of a shambling froglok. My aid to you, ____, and he, ends here.' Your faction standing with Venril Sathir has been adjusted by 10. You gain experience! Receive: Enchanted Mithril Blade. Head to Skyfire Mountains. Head to Old Sebilis. Go back to The Overthere. This quest takes 4 Sarnak War Braid and can improve your VS faction. You really need a tracker in order to find the berserkers.

All dialogue/hand ins are doable with sneak.

I changed the minimum to level 50 since you have to kill level 50 mobs.

Faction to start this quest is not Dubious, it is Indifferent.
Started at apprehensive today and he wouldn't speak to me. Farmed 40 braids cause i was 75 faction shy of indifferent. As soon as I got to indifferent he gave me the note.

He won't talk to my lvl 41 Ogre Warrior of Rallos Zek with a faction standing of apprehensive.
So there must be a requirement more than just level 1 and dubious faction.

Of course it was long forgotten! I spent years in Skyfire and never saw a Fire Wurm's Spikes until tonight. Just goes to show, it pays to know people in charged.

I noticed someone's comment about kos faction and said thank god for sneak. Currently I am apprehensive in illusion Dark elf and khuurghrak won't talk to me. But I did sneak behind him and he gave me the note Are you able to do the whole quest if low faction or kos faction via sneak? I don't want to wait for phinny drop. Thinking of just doing ivyshae since got most the mats. How rare is the phinny drop?

I killed a golem on my way from the PoK book, and noticed that I had bottomed out my faction with Venril Sathir. Good thing for Sneak!

Rusdai spawned from the left Treasury Guard (if facing the door going into the bank) for me. I think Goodurden had him spawn from the one on the right based on his loc. Might want to clear the others in there too just in case.
