anyone know the deal on these in the lake of ill omen i've been here for few hrs have'nt seen any but kittens? also i found it easy to get the ton warrior thing in the brigad camp in the swamp. Theres a pond near there that frogs spawn often and the ton warriors too. ALso there is a skelli that spawns there u can get the heart of ice from it.

this information is comeing almost a year late but the cats you want are more twords the lake if your geting kittens then your to close to the cab ent, you might want to try the windmill camp thats where i got the last 10 drops i needed for the quest(done it lots of times for chanters who should have the spell but are to young to solo it)
Got totem off a Krup Guard in frog city in SoNH
ok i used my pally to camp the frogs in FV and Swamp of now Hope.. I got the other 3 items in 5 minutes so just need the totem.. i killed 100 of the Froglok Ton Warriors and gave up.. a week later i was sitting at tunnel exit in FV near dreadlands exit.. and who should attack me? the same frog and he dropped the totem! so you non trackers may want to try and just hang at the tunnel exit.. it is in the path of 2 of the frogs as i later noticed. Of course I agree with the rest of you about this 20th lvl spell being with those mobs...
I ran into one of the Ton Warriors with my mage as I was at the tunnel crossroad from the PoK book and it dropped the totem, did not know what it was for at the time so i did not loot it, was no-trade and I only had 2 bag spots left. Was and easy kill blue for a 30 mage and earth pet.
Once scribed, the spell is Illusion: Iksar. However, the scroll itself is called "Vision of Sebilite"

Did this on my 57 Bard recently. I thought I had gotten all the pieces, but when I went to turn them in, unfortunatly I had a "piece" of the totem, and the NPC ate almost all the quest pieces.
Went back and got them again. The drops seemed very common, then moved the spell over to my enchanter. Looks pretty cool.

i have looked all over the place and i can never seem to find the stupid ton warrior totem thing i killed atleast 100 of them frogs that it specifies but nothing droped it i spent a full day trying to get it but nothiong can anyone help me i am on Tarew Marr 35 enchanter Nnwahs. PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!

I frequently run into him in the tunnels between Dreadlands and Fiorona Vie. Have a druid or ranger friend track a "Froglok Ton Warrior". Unless someone is killing him as soon as he spawns he will eventually end up inside the tunnels. They should 1st track inside the tunnels, then move to the entrance to the tunnels in FV and try tracking him.

For a Hi-Elf Chanteress, why even get this,,, is it just another spell to add to the over full spellbook?
Yes I have to agree with the fact that this spell is hard for a lvl 20 to solo and get it. I do not think that Verant is necasarilly stupid or has overlooked that fact. The whole thing with verant is emphasis on team work and grping. Agroup of lvl 20s should be able to get this spell pretty easily. Just my 2cp though.

I did this quest to raise my FV faction. Quest is easy once one knows where to find items.
Totem drops off of Krup Guards in Froglok city (in the city there are two, standing alone in a hut). They do not agro in the building. If one doesnt drop the totem, the other does. Otherwise, Allakhazam has it right on target. Total quest time, at least for me, is about an hour to 90 minutes, depending upon drop efficiency.

As an enchanter, being KoS anywhere is not a problem. After collecting all the items needed, I moved to where I could see the Firiona Vie gaurds, but was not aggroed. I conned them in my natural Dark Elf form and they were ready to attack. After casting Illusion: High Elf, they were indifferent.
I then proceeded into Firiona Vie and located Pasinia, who was indiffirent as well. Cast Benevolence on here, and she now cons amiable. Turn in the items, and voila, Visions of Sebilis.

I have a lvl 24 enchantress and I was told this was a researcher spell, was that person incorrect? Can I buy this spell anywhere or do I have to go thru the Quest to get ahold of it?
Yes the person who told you its Research only is a jerk. His brain would rattle in a flea's skull. Do the quest (Hard way) or get the spell by shop (Easy Way)

For being a lvl 20 spell,you can not attain it til you are lvl 31ish,and being that the nok shaman is between lvl 31-34,GOOD LUCK at getting this at lvl 20,Verant needs to rethink the lvl of cast-ability for this spell,because it would not do to drop the lvl's of the mobs for the quest items,because all the other mobs around are the same lvl as they are now

I agree, Verant needs to rethink this one. Why would they make this a level 20 spell, when you can't do the quest until you're at least 25?? Every post I've read says they used a higher level alt to do the quest, so I hope everyone's got one! Guess it's time to go get my level 30 druid! Good luck, guys!

Compare this to the Wizard spell Concussion (Our FV quest spell). Level 39 to cast, but rarely do you see a wizard with it that's under 50. Just the way these quests are designed that you will have a heck of a time getting it at the level required to cast it.
If you check the quest page .. it says lvl 25 .. if u r lvl 25 I would suggest u find a nice Iskar to tank for u and u stay invis except when buffing from a safe distance.
But if u want to do this alone ... wait till u in the 30's cause greens WILL agro u for spite sake. Stay Invised and Root, Dot, Nuke, then Invis that should finish off most mobs u need for the quest. Make sure u know where the zone is and have a sow potion on you :)
Other than that ... this is easy quest in the 30's and good for faction. Once u get the spell.... go to Field of Bones and Kill little Scorps and collect the pinchers .. then turn in for faction ... after about 60 u will be NON kos to the Iskar guards and will be Amiable or better while in Iskar form.
And if u do like me and bind in TD at the Fire Pots u can port directly into Cablis at the LOIO zone line :) it is nice to be self portable to 9 different cities in Norath (sorry no Luclin or Vel cities :( )

Well, if you think about it... A full group of LVL 20's could kill him. So the LVL to obtain is technically correct. =)
The level to obtain may be technically correct, but the adds will kill ya if you're not really careful!
True, but that's what an enchanter is for...crowd control. Ya get to use that 16th level mez spell...if you can ever find all the correct left and right pages to research it.
