Best Spot To Farm

Best spot to farm these is in the Halls of Honor.

>>Go straight from entrance, come to the 4 way crosswalk, take a left and that temple at the end has a bunch of these semi-named mobs, all lvl 66-67. Rabid Wurlons, Undead inhabitants and Recuso Degenerates.<<

All drop Glyphed Rune Words.

These are merc-soloable. I soloed them with my 66 cleric and a warrior merc. Cast Resist Magic on both. Pulled with Mark of Kings. I let the tank do all the work, chain CH healing her and meleeing myself as well. Summoned the cleric hammer to help. Worked just fine, just takes a while.

Undead Inhabitants: Have a nasty DOT, can be removed by casting 3x Remove Curse. But that takes too long, I just kept healing the cleric and the tank.

Recuso Degenerates: Has a debuff, reduces ATK and AC. Can be removed by casting 3x Remove Curse. Did that for the tank after each CH if she was cursed to let her HPs not go down too fast.

Rabid Wrulon: Has a very nasty spell, eats mana real quick, so I stopped bothering them. You might be more lucky with better magic resist mine was at 355.

I think they may have increased the drop rate, I got three drops in one evening with about 8 kills.

The Rabid Wrulon and the Undead Inhabitants each spawn two more mobs when they die (Rabid Wrulon Puppy and Undead Miniature). Careful, they are indifferent - until you aggro any of the above. Then they will attack you. They are easy to kill, but if you are soloing the above and control the mob just so, you don't want any adds.

Also can get in Halls of Honor, which, like BoT is just level 62 restricted to enter, if you are unflagged.

I thought it notable to state that while these are No-drop, they can be MQ'd to your class specific vendor in the PoK Library, resulting in a random droppable Level 65 spell for your class. The vendor is the same person you would turn your Ethereal or Spectral parchments into.
shadowy parchment replacement?
# Mar 11 2003 at 10:29 PM Rating: Decent
Did these replace shadowy parchments? The PoP spell quest page indicates shadowy parchments gets you lvl 65 spells.

Yes the Shadowy Parchments evidently were misremembered by person which first reported getting some level 65 spells. Though how it got misremembered so badly remains to be seen. The problemm with reporting cutting edge information is sometimes it's not 100% accurate. However we did get the spell divisions set up properly, the first level of items return level 61/62 spells, the second level returns level 63/64 spells and the third level item returns level 65 spells.

This gets you the 65th Lvl spells from the class specific merchant in Myrist (Library in Plane of Knowledge).
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 10 2002 at 3:05 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Gonna take a hell of alot more than hanging out in the library in PoK to get 65 spells. Lucky, you Ench, Shamans and Clerics are gonna be first in line to get dibs on all SP drops. I might be last even behind apps getting mine, being a Bst.
