well wow wasn't that worth it now ya have the OoW gladiators stuff to complain about but am not hearing much in that line an not seeing any info on the bp for the teir 2 bp's either might that be because no one is uber anuff to have gotten it yet.well don't matter the OoW tier 2 stuff is way better than either the Vadds or Raex's now not only with ac an hp but with all the added mod's
Fer those of you saying Raex's is better le's jus' think about tha' fer a moment, the only thing the Raex's really has over it is the aggro mod, the Qvic gloves for warriors having the effect instead. There problem solved, you have the aggro mod and the better stats. An' as always teh BPs are harder to get the the other slots so if you get the BP you prolly have the gloves.
...an' tha' mentioning of the endurance... I've yet to hear a 65 warrior say "sorry guys, we gotta stop... I'm out endurance", if anyone cared about endurance the 70 endurance augments wouldn't rot.

I would keep my Raex over this till all the plate class gets this BP... Honestly its not much of an improvement. 10 more AC and 50 more HP... the shielding is on both, and the RAEX have better SV's plus they have 8% to riposte. To me thats huge. If I can riposte a few more hits thats huge. Figure a hit can be 500-1000+... so yes I will keep my Raex till everyone in my guild has this BP then I will put in for it... Its not much of an upgrade and for others it might be a bigger upgrade... I am not selfish and im all for whats best for the guild.

Yeah tanks run out all the time... a long battle where you hit area taunt, defensive, then keep hitting your Bellow and then Aura of runes once defensive is down then, etc.... you will run out. but yeah 70 endurance aug isnt going to make or break anyone..

I run out all the time. Depends greatly on what discs you're using. But that is neither here nor there... Raex's or Vadd's would not make the difference in that case.

what i want to know is can a guildless war ever hope of getting his hands on any of this armor ?
There was a time people would have said the same about Velious quest armor, or NTOV drops.
Give it 2 or 3 more expansions, and a group of level 80s in whatever passes for bazaar gear will be able to farm this stuff.

the problem is exactly that there WILL be more expansions .. this is an uber chest plate .... simple as that .... but sony is ruining everquest by the constant expansions .... anyone else notice the incredible deminish in players .... i know im not the only one ... though other games like EQ2(sucks btw) and WoW .. plus other new realeases are killing it .. they dont need to slay the game any worse by these constant new expansions that ruin armor like this that is awesome gear

You do realize that the muramite chest armor for this piece of armor drops off Noqufiel right? No way in hell are you gonna be able to one group that mob with bazaar gear. This mob can wipe Time-geared raids. Guilded or not, there is no way in hell you will be able to one group it. Ever.

Notice he didn't just ask about the BP. Most of the other pieces can drop off of Qvic mobs that are 69-75 in level. Some of these mobs are 2-4 groupable NOW, so if they do raise the level caps again, and continue to improve the single groupable gear, it's certainly possible that someone without a guild COULD obtain some of these armor pieces.
BTW, when PoP first came out, I was on a raid of over 40 people who wiped on a BoT tower. Recently, I went back to the same tower, and one grouped it.

You guys have to understand that the Vadd's gloves, have the Echo of anger ability <same of raex> so this breastplate would still be better

Hate mods on items, like Echo of Anger, do not stack. They take the highest modifier, just like focus effects. This is by design.

my ideals is that Raex is better because of the aggro and other focus effects, and shizzles when your that high end stuff slows you by up to 60% attack speed, AND reduce aggro by up to 99%, so you still need that bad **** aggro, but you also get shielding mod and... the stat that makes it all worth it~ Riposte mod! RARRRR! I R RIPOSTE JOO GUUD!

Well, you have to consider that the person that gets this Breastplate undoubtedly had the option of getting the gauntlets as well, which have the same effect as the Raex's Breastplate from Time. (Echo of Anger, which is +15% to aggro)

Shaman here and i would have to say the more agro the better. I can stack 4 to 5 dots as well as slow in one event. The mob can take from 900 to 1.8k a click depending on Critical Affliction hits. I can draw agro off a tank very fast, so the more agro inducers they have the better.

So... what do you want sony to do then... just quit and delete everything you have done.. cause you seem to be very fed up with the game and would more than likely be willing to give up your character... or do you want Sony to make items with 1,000,000ac and make u gods and be able to destroy the world? And if your playing a game and your still bored, maybe you should start do other things with your life than come to websites and complain about some things that other ppl might find cool.
Well if you add a 70 hp aug to this it will actually be 120 hps greater than raex.
there is a 100 hp aug now, and is type 8, 400hp on a BP, verry nice

The gloves on this set, have the agro modifier.
So unless they stack (we can hope), if you have the gloves, can give up the modifier on elemental BP.

I'm not a WAR, and have neither, but looking at the stats, Raex IS better. This just basically has 10 more AC and 50hp... whereas Raex has better stats overall and an aggro increaser.
Not like it's really that big of a difference, but if i was a WAR, i certainly would prefer the Raex over this.

ok yes the effect is nice on raex but you have to admit the hp ac an ENDURANCE does make up for the loss of 15% agro...sides with all the new skill stuff for wars comeing out they can hold agro better now

Wow thats friggin insane. I knew GoD would be harder then PoP, but didn't think it'd be that tough to give out things like that. Heh the way we're going, probably expect to see items with around 200 AC and 40+ to a stat

When there are mobs that can hit you with an AE -255 all stats spell... Stats still matter. Not many people have high enough stats that (their points)-255 is still higher than cap.

how on earth can you view Raex's as superior? this has more ac, stats don't matter (maxed at this point) and more hp, along with better effects. with a dbotw and a sos + an anger 3 aug or a bow +anger3 mod, you have more aggro than you need anyway

How's this for comparison dumbass... You say use Vadd's + Anger Aug on yer DBoW. How bout use the Raex and put a HP aug on your DBoW... omgz... your agro and HP balance out to just about the same... Yes, HP matters, but Agro matters more than 50hp in MOST cases. I can say that I'm not a Time Warrior or even a Time anything, but if I had the ability to pull more agro allowing my raid to do more DPS then most fights are going to benefit more from Raex. There is one situation where I can see Vadd's being better, and that's the impossible ****... the stuff like Cragbeast Queen, where your tank has to be able to simply live through 1 round of hits. For that, and that alone, would i say Vadd's is better, with it's extra HP AC and Shielding Modifier (assuming you're trying to single tank her). So in the end, Raex is better, but your MT needs BOTH, not just 1. Btw, if you don't know anything, dont respond to this, only speak up if you have something intelligent to say.

Are you a time warrior? My roommate is and still he ******* with his BoW and raex's that he still does not have enough aggro. With incite now not as bad but still warriors have a hard time with fast aggro.

Also before looking into my post a little to shallow like, why not see that DBtW and SoS are going the way of the dodo. Check out the rocking 70/35 2hs weapon..nuff said..
Anyways when it comes to a high dkp guild an etc, were loot is spread out all over b/c of Potime clearing an all is wonderful in time candyland..many warriors are stressing over getting the SoS's and all the DBtW's yet they seem to of missed that , yes although new, and super rare...it is indead out there...

Yevun, the idea of you calling anyone else's posts trash makes me laugh. and you'll note that no halberds have actually dropped yet. Without raw hate, thats no bow killer anyhow.
raex's is superior? did you somehow miss the 10ac, 50hp, 205 endurance, and extra spellshield/shielding/resists? if you have that much of a problem with aggro, get http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=3410&source=Live cast on you. click off a time clicky buff for it -- say the lifetap one (soul claw IIRC.) Snap aggro will always be a problem, and the 15% mod on raex's bp doesn't fix it.

It's called macroquest.
umm, no. everything is serverside, MQ2 cannot fake packets to get the server to send you lore information. People blame everything thats wrong on MQ, but in reality, very little of it is done by MQ
