I'm telling you I'm 100% that this dropped for me in WoS off one of the bazu named. Why else would I come and post it here if it wasn't true? I'm above rumour mongering.
I have hunted the named extensively in WoS south field and I have only had it drop once - its my belief its was some sort of loot table bug or perhaps it is just a REALLY rare drop but there you go.
If you don't believe I dont care too much, I had a forgotten greatstaff in my possession having never raided Qvic on this character which I then sold in the bazaar (FV server before you say anything) as I had a rime-encrusted pike staff already.
So maybe hunt WoS enough and you can get one too.

I am 100% that this dropped for me off a named in WoS - I cant remember which one but it was from one of the roaming named in the south field.

1)A staff drops in wos off a bazu and its likely a confusion there.
2) neither one is droppable, the one from bazu is attuneable but if you used it you didnt sell it so umm how did you sell it in bazaar?....

He's on FV. Most things that are no-drop on other servers, are droppable on FV. He's not lying, just mistaken, maybe :)
