| Long ago, Khati Sha was a famed Vah Shir who enjoyed exploring. This love of exploration, however, was his downfall, as he was captured by the Shissar on one of his trips. Under the orders of Emperor Ssraeshza, he was brought in to the Shissar's temple to be interrogated, tortured, and experimented upon.
One of these experiments went very wrong, and in the accident both Khati Sha and his tormentors perished. All surviving records of the incident were sealed by Imperial order, and it is written that any further investigation into the incident would be considered treasonous. The spirit of Khati Sha now resides in the Acrylia Caverns, located on the edge of the Grimling Forest just south of the Tenebrous Mountains. The Grimlings which control the area fear the retribution that would be unleashed if Khati Sha were to be made aware of the horrors committed upon him in the Shissars' temple. Therefore, much of Grimling legend consists of untruths -- lies to cover up a treacherous history of a once-great, famed Vah Shir. |

Well me and my guild tried to get a new mob to spawn... not only were we succesful, we got our asses handed to us by it. Now i dont know if hes new or not, i just dont see him here so im reporting.
That mob is called a Death Warden. (??!? Humm could be wrong on mob name ) Not a Undead Warden. Its level 65. Hits pretty hard reported 800 from a tank. Also use a nasty AE that prevents anyone from casting. I have found no info yet on this mob so im sharing.
I think the best way to take him is to get the tanks far from the clerics so that the clerics can actually cast cheals. Also he hits for 800 unslowed ( wouldnt know if hes slowable since he used his AE on all the casters ).

Well, The Ward of Life is quite easy as I saw...
The other one, Warder of Death, CH's every time a mob called "A Sacrifice" spawns, and yes you can kill the sacrifices, but be sure to snare them if you can. The more sacrifices that make it to the pot, the longer the fight is gonna be with the Warder of Death

Can anyone give hints as to where the Grimling Sage spawns at?
I know where all the others are but I haven't seen any information on the sage.
Also, what priest and mage do you refer to at the end of your post? the Arch Sage and the High Priest(not the high priest)?

these come from the warlord not the bloodcaster camp. what drops from the bloodmage is Chain linked Gaunts whech are ac16 5 agi/dex/str/sta no lvl req. (sim stats may not have str or sta or may be flip flopped. Also are rng rog sham only.

In thew new inner acrylia, in the room where the Grimling Warlord spawns (This room has a throne at one end, sort of rectangular with 3 'layers' of flooring), the center of the floor acts like a door, I think it can be opened. But when you click on it you get "You noticed somethign amiss with the floor panels at your feet; however you cannot seem to get them to move."
Any one have any idea how to get this to open?

Dropped the most ub4 sword i have yet to obtain called "Blackended Acrylia Blade" 14/22 ac5 7str 7agi 7dex 15hp 15mana 5svcold 5 svdisease 1hand slash, ranger warrior pally sk and rog weighs 1.2) And has one of the best images on any sword in game so far that i have seen, has a baby blue wrist guard an leather looking wrapped hilt with a blade similar to the defenders blade but not as thick. Very nice looking, seen only 2 of these being sold in bazaar so far for 30kish.

Hi I am a level 38 Cleric, and really want to go to here, Can I travel there allready or do I have to waith a couple of levels
Only go there when you bring some tough friends with you, even the weakest mobs would all con red to you.
Not far from the entrance (turn right from entrance and then first chamber on the right) the Shik'nar have decided to dwell now. Common mob there is "A Savage Shik'nar".
They drop "Pristine Acrylia Shard". This item cannot be sold to merchants. Most likely a quest component.

The Shards are for a quest when the Cats have control of the grimling town in GF by TM.
More new mobs ... Haven't explored what they are yet, but all show up on druid track from the Gate.
These mobs are all light and dark blue to level 63.

All those mobs are in Inner Acrylia. Vhalek Shah is a Vah Shir who will attack you if you get close to him. He dropped nothing when we dropped him :)The two spiritualists are for a Warder of Life ring. Need groups to do this.
The mutated chrysalis becomes the burrower. I'm not sure if its through a turn in, quest, or just time that does it.

My guild is gonna try to work our way back to the cauldron and see what that's all about. Acrylia is actually pretty fun, even when most of it is green to you.
after patch mobs are either db or lb in here nothing green, btw spiritslaver is the ph for the arcanist and warlod.

Correct its a quest component, need 8 of them , theres a quest NPC in the town by TM zone in GF, after the Vah Shir take it over, gives you a container to fill with the shards, reward is approx 750 pp

i came to farm acrylia and did not see a single mob that i used to encounter here. everything close to zone was light blue at 61 and easily dispatched by my pet. I did not see a single SK, or any mobs that were horribly resistant to magic based spells. The gate that was previously locked was open the entire time i was there, but i did not venture past it. Hope this info helps.

Anyone here ever taken on Witchdoctor Gnorgtarg for Grimling Medicine Pouch? His name is not on the beastiary listing, but he drops <https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=16221> so he's worth fighting. How hard is he, how do you get him to spawn, and where is his location?

Two people in AC asked me for a CoH and I didn't know where they were so I sent my eyeball out and targeted them. Went to CoH and POP! A Grimling Hero pops on me HT's me and since I was right by the zone... I zoned. I had Virtue and Kei on me... he took me down to 20m. He was dark blue to me also.

Well we took Gimiling Hero down tonight for fun just to see what he was like. Conned red to 54 and blue to 58 so 57 seems right. Lotsa HPS on that guy and no loot or plat or anything. exp was good off him.
No one has killed Tashakhi ? If so what did he drop?

Was hunting Acrylia for the first time last night with 65 dwarf pally. He goes off scouting and is summoned into a lava pit.
Me, smart mage that I am, tries to CoH him and "A voice whispers in your mind, 'There are no heroes here....., Well, maybe just one! You need help? I'll help you!' SMACK! 135, 911 HT, SMACK! 135. I was naked and unbuffed at the time so next thing I see is: LOADING. PLEASE WAIT.
Obviously can’t CoH in Acrylia. I summoned the Grimling Hero instead. The pally drowns himself in the lava, and we are both sitting at the Nexus rubbing our heads in disbelief. In comes the necro! So now me, 59 mage, unbuffed but now uber equipped in my old flowing black robe, 55 necro, and 65 pally descend on Acrylia. Corpses recovered pronto thanks to the necro.
This girl wants revenge so I CoH and in comes the Grimling Hero. Blue to 59 mage. Pally pulls aggro so fast the Hero never got off his HT! Pets roll, necro throws 4 Splurts, POW!, and I nail him at least 8 times with Seeking Flame of Seukor. 35k hps gone in a matter of seconds! All the bugger drops is mages so if you take him, the only reward is sweet revenge.

If you ever fall in the lava.../quit out. No really..when you come back in you'll be at the entrance. You can do that in ToV as well. Little tip for ya ;)

When i used CoH, I got this message:

He harm touched me for 911 then proceeded to hit me for 150's right after I CoH'd my friend.
Yellow at 56th so logic says it has to be level 57 (con'd blue to a 60th level chanter).
Going to get revenge on the bastage tomorrow.

EDIT: There were four of us in AC again last night. Milandrah (60 chanter), Merryglow (49 cleric), Solsun (55 Beastlord) and myself (now 57 magician) were bored at the zoneline (the front end of AC had been cleared). We decided to buff up and give the Grimling Hero a bit of payback. Once again I'd like to confirm this guy is 57th level (con'd even to me).
He will spawn the instant you start casting CoH, not at the end like I remembered. Although I've resisted some of the deathbringers HT's when my MR is around 200, this guy's 911 HT landed for full with my MR at 214.
I had to zone out for a minute to loose aggro and to regain a few hitpoints. When I came back in he was still on the loose. I made an air pet, hit him with BO4 and sent him in.
Air pet was hitting this guy for mid to high 40's. Solsun's warder was hitting him for high 30's to low 40's. Pretty decent armor class if you ask me (my pet usually hits for mid to high 50's on most mobs).
Even with tash I had to cast malosi twice (first one was resisted). Tried shock of swords (magic based DD), first cast partially resisted (landed for just under 200) and second cast was fully resisted. Not sure if this was just bad luck on two casts or not. However using Char (fire based DD) every cast landed for full. My air pet landed a few stuns but I didn't see enough sucessful stuns to change my mind about this guy having high MR (maybe one in ten stun spells landed).
Based on rough numbers I'd estimate this guy's hitpoints around 30-35k (700 point nuke doing 2% per cast). Dropped no loot, not even coin or vendor trash. Very good xp though. We'll be messing with him more and more when boredom sets in.

umm...no it's not. At lvl 54(ish) SK's get the Unholy Aura disc which allows their HT to become disease based ( for less resistances ) and do 150% more dmg.

Theres a lot more to this zone than most think. theres a key quest to get into the castle section of acrylia. The quest is very difficult and time consuming. the 25/25 bard/pal/sk wep drops during this quest. There are 5 ring events inside the castle. Supposedly the Boss of this zone Tashakhi "The Master" Is supposed to be on par with emp of ssra.
If iI where to travel in here with invis would I live ? Can any of the monsters see through invis, or can they all ? I also heard you need a key to get to the place where the 25/25 wepon is, is that true ? If I can go in there with invis would anyone let me loot that sword ?

it is for the quest that some cat gives out in Grimling forest, for a medal of the vah shir hero or whatnot. Quest is called necins challenge, or generals challenge, something of that sort
