Temple of Solusek Ro

So, I tried to zone in here with my cleric but appearantly my computer doesnt have that zone loaded onto it. I tried looking it up on Tech Support but its old and it did no good does anyone know an updated way to download this? If so it would be nice if you could contact me lol

I was browsing and saw the question below from some time ago. I was curious and found that the Plasmatic Priest is a triggered spawn in the cleric epic. And yes, he is KOS to all. If you go, make sure you check the zone when you zone in and make sure no one is doing epic.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I had my darkforge armor pieces in hand and came to the temple ready to claim my reward, when I find that I can't get through the front door because I was TOO BIG. I had to go and buy a stupid ant potion. Bah.

When I went into the Temple today, My faction was indifferent. How many ShadowMen, or how many hours killing them, do I have to spend before I am amiable?

I accidently hailed the effrete not knowing who exactly he was, I just thought he was some cool looking genie guy, and I hailed him. I then saw that my faction got worse and realized he was the effrete. My character is a Wizard that worships Solusek Ro, and when I hailed the effrete, I got worried. I only hailed him once, am I still ok?

Who is KOS there are they like velous faction? Or does every race need to be wary? INC human undead knight? I am a Troll sk do i even have a chance to do some quests here or ?

To the lvl 14 with a minor problem, try running the optional patch before you finish logging in, it will appear after it asks if you are willing to 'Continue playing', just slide your mouse over and click 'Optional Patch'

The Temple of Solusek Ro is one of the files in that patch, plus others, and is vital if you want to finish your quest.

See if that's the answer, otherwise, I'm not sure what's wrong, /shrug

I, being an enchantress, am Princess of quests...illusions, faction spells and what-not make just about any quest doable to me.

Well my dumb **** didn't know the magician focus items were 'no drop', so here I went, paid 25pp for a stein (from an auction) and 105pp for a sapphire, in Neriak, got me mermaid scale and ice giant toes out of storage in the bank, headed off to the Temple of Sol. Ro and gave Vira what she asked for...what I got was the Stein of Ulissa.....which is coincidently, 'no drop'!!!

I was majorly leagued bummed after finding out I wasted 130pp in a day, in hopes of selling, to make a profit...alas, I found out the hard way that ALL magician quest items are no drop, unlike the cleric/necro/enchanter and most other classes out of the Temple...."I was so pissed!" is an understatement folks

When I was buying fire opals I figured that the price was low enough to take a chance on giving something other than gold. Genni wants 550gps for a fire opal. Well I bought 4 fire opals in every coin combo I had the coin for and as long as it added up to 55pp or 550gp or whatever I got the gems.

Ok well, a sneaky Wurm anyhow.
He's tricky to pull and kill. Heres a technique that has worked. It is dangerous. Use a group of 50+'s, tank heavy preferably.

The target is on the balcony on the left side (right if you are looking from the bottem), his name is Lord something of Burning Wood. (no its not "SOMETHING", I just cant remember it right now, geesh),

Have the enchanter use the best of the sooth line of spells on the mobs in the pull path. Have the ranger or sk, (sk preferably) pull with a spell.

I should probably mention where to pull to at this point, yes?

Ok on the way up to the balcony there is a stairs. Fight him at the bottom of the stairs closest to his spawn point. Just be sure to keep the doors closed so you dont pull any elementals. Some groups like to pull to zone and hail him till the puller can zone back in. This brings a ton of elementals and for some reason the two keepers on the other side of the big door often decide to join the fray.

NOTE: This SERIOUSLY trashes your Temple faction. My advice, dont do this unless at least amniable.. then go and kill 150-200 shadow men to get the faction back.

Oh, he drops a scale for wurmslayer. A truely cool 1hs now. (Dont ding me for saying I like the weapon, I know its not the best but its pretty good and not that tough to get. )

BTW his spawn time is like 3 minutes so if someone is there they should be willing to share... its not like its a spot you would want to hunt for xp.

(Although admitedly dark races if you can get the pull down perfectly, this spot would rock. I got noticably xp at 51 and thats saying something. It can be insanely dangerous to do though.)
