You say, 'Hail, Cryssia Stardreamer'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Hail and good day to you. I am Cryssia Stardreamer of the League of Antonican Bards. My colleague Walthin and I are here while we deal in [lambent stones] with the followers of Solusek Ro. If you are interested, my partner and I also deal in [lambent armor]... the perfect armor for a bard of note.'

You say, 'lambent stones'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Lambent stones are gemstones of great power. They are midnight blue in color - if you want more information on them you should ask Genni.'

You say, 'lambent armor'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Lambent armor is custom crafted armor, made especially for bards. It is forged by the MeadowGreen brothers and then enchanted by the followers of Solusek Ro. If you are interested, I can tell you about the [lambent helm], the [lambent breastplate], [lambent vambraces] or [lambent bracers]. My colleague Walthin can tell you about other lambent armor pieces.'

You say, 'lambent breastplate'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Lambent breastplates are not cheap, but I can get you one if you bring me a few items I need for later trades with the followers of Solusek Ro. Bring me a basalt carapace from the caverns of Guk and a gypsy lute from the Castle of Mistmoore. You will also need to see Genni about getting me a lambent ruby. Collect these items for me, and I will give you a lambent breastplate.'

Cryssia Stardreamer will need a Basalt Carapace (from basalt gargoyles in lower guk), Gypsy Lute (from Mistmoore), Lambent Ruby (2 Rubies and 1 Lambent Stone. Give to Vilissia) in order to make the Lambent Breastplate

Upon hand-in:

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Wait, ______, are you not forgetting something?'
Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Wait, ______, are you not forgetting something?'
Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Exceptionally well done, ______, here is your lambent breastplate. Wear it with pride.'

i have yet to find a temple of ro quest that is not MQable. i've done about 15-20 different quest there and have MQ'd at least 4 of them, including the wizzy click items. Like other MQ's just make sure that the char that you want to get the returned reward hands stuff in last and hope that no one else turned in partials if the end result is no drop, which in this case it is not. hope that helps.
Lute
# Jun 17 2002 at 6:56 PM Rating: Default
The lute of the gypsy princess is a bards string instrument. It is or was the second most strong string instrument that you could get in the game. Get the lute and try it with your healing song and you will see how much of a diff it makes compared to a regular string instrument
Lute

The frist time I did this quest I used the princess lute also. I was very upset when she took all my junk and told me "so-and-so didnt you forget something?" I wanted to kick her in the teeth! 150 plat down the $#!++er!! >:-( I went back to MM and got the correct lute and I will hopefully get the nerve to try this quest again.

Getting the Lute

I just got the lute by myself as a 55 sk, and it was no trouble. The only thing to be careful of is to not get adds. I found the easiest way was to go invis through the ballroom and to the little room with 4 gargoyles just past it. Kill the gargs, and then you can pull the ball room to there without worrying about adds too much. (assuming you are of high enough lvl that they don't aggro from pulling).

err well i read a little morwe of the previous post's and am rather comforted to see i am not the only person to have diffuculties with aquireing that lute.

Here's how i did it, be warned it is a very costly method. i got a lvle 50 plus monk to kill the gypsie (lol he almost died jus too many adds) i then dropped invisability long enough to loot the friggin thing andthere after drug my body to zone line. this may be a foolish method but hey i got it.

Temple Faction ...
# Feb 10 2002 at 2:46 AM Rating: Good
Ok, here is the short an skinny on Temple Faction, all quest can be completed WITHOUT doing ANY FACTION WORK !

Im a Dark elf necro and im Twinking a BRD ATM, i got a friend, Iksar War, who is doing the same, we both got all the items needed to comlete a full set of Lambent Armor ( minus Bracer's ) and both of us walked into Temple and did the Lambent Quest without doin any faction work.

I guess i should correct myself B4 someone decides to come along an flame me. I guess i can only speak for doing the Lambent quest, i dunno if other Temple quest might require faction to do them.

multi-quest?

Does anybody know if the lambent armor can be multi-quested. My druid has the lute from Mistmoore and my bard has the carapiece from Lguk and the Lambent Ruby. I would like to hand in the lute with my druid and the rest of the items with my bard.

Has anybody done this?

I decided to risk it and try doing the quest with my 2 chars as described aboved. Walla! It worked!

So the Lambent armor can be multi-quested!

Today me and my three friends, Voldon (52nd druid), Quassin (44th Enchanter), Faydin (53 monk), and me (33rd Paladin :P) got the Gypsy Lute for the Lambent Breastplate and the Black Silk Gloves for the Lambent gauntlets. Took us about half an hour to get both, the monk had about 5 delay and was hitting in 40's because of epic, just killed everything, I looted the Black Silk Gloves so I can do the Gauntlets quest, Voldon looted the Gypsy Lute for the Lambent Breastplate quest. Tomorrow, we are going to LFay to get the Basalt Carcapace and for the Breastplate quest and the Shin Gloves for the Gauntlets quest. All the quests are easy because most of the quest items needed are all in the same zone. Just gonna make money porting with the druid to pay for the rubies. Next thing you know, I will have the Lambent armor for me levl 7 bard.

I know that the ro quests require you to have a fairly high solusek faction to complete, do you also need a high faction to complete the lambent or will they let you complete if you are indiff to them?

RE: lamebent bp

Okay you must be a friggin moron who has nothing better to do than make fun of other classes. Let me tell you Bards do NOT suck. For a couple reasons:
1) They get mana song which when combined with an enchanter equals casters never oom which in turn means no downtime and no tank deaths.
2) Their Resistance buffs are invaluable on a raid against any high level that has spells or elemental attacks. They can easily mean the difference between life and death.
3) They can SOLO, probably the only melee class that can solo at high levels due to their ability to quad kite while twisting selo's and multiple damage spells.

These are just a FEW of the reasons why bards do not suck, and if you think they are gay for singing you are pretty stupid or have some sort of disability. Singing and playing instruments is actually a sign of being highly intelligent which is more than I can say for you. Have a nice day.

# Jun 16 2002 at 6:49 PM Rating: Default
I AGREE! BARDS DO NOT SUCK!! in fact i think they are the most fun to play. they ALWAYS have a group after level 20 not that they need one bacause they can solo easily. berds get really nice armor. (SS gloves are among my personal favorite just because they are cheap [400pp] and you can breather underwater with 16 ac) bards ARE the best class in the game its just that not everyone is capable of being the best. you need all the other classes tho im not saying that bards are the be all and end all because then i would be stupid. but i have seen a 60 bard solo the entire freeport militia with pretty much nothing but his drums of the beast. so kiss my a$$ whoever said bards suck
RE: lamebent bp
# Jun 27 2002 at 3:45 PM Rating: Default
There are a lot of morons who say bards suck and it's because of one reason; they weren't able to hack it as one. They saw bards to be something that they weren't and thought the class sucked because of it. Just because you do not know how to work as a class does not mean you can freely bash that class and find people who will agree with you. Each class is good at something, from the powerful Shadowknights and Warriors to the casting legends of Mages and Wizards, to the folks in the middle, like the druids and bards. I find each class to be helpful in groups and they each can play out a part which helps the entire group out. So, in short, bards rule (IMHO) and you should not go around bashing classes you have not tried yet.

For those of you having a hard time with the rubies - i found them both in felwith. If I remember right it is at a vendor not in a building but between 2 buildings by the water if you were to circle around to the back.
