My level 60 mage w/epic pet and aoe nukes could not keep up with the spawn rate. Got 100 ears in about 15 minutes.

They drop off the diseased rats near the entrance to Rivervale in Misty Thicket. Pretty quick repop time, too.
patched recently for tlp servers but now it doesnt seem to be on live server merchies either. Hopefully this is an oversight and will be fixed.

I'm not seeing rat ears on any merchant as of Aug 11 on standard servers. Looks like the upcoming patch for Aug 18, 2021 officially states their removal.

what recipes is this used in besides rat ear sandwich and gnomish spirits? If you tell me I will tell you where you can farm 60-100 of this in 30 minutes. HEHEHEH

Katha Firespinner sells Rat Ears- she is at the inn right before you zone into the west commonlands. here is a lay out of the buildings-
she is either at 'A' or 'E' I think most likely she is at E.

I believe I saw rat ears for sell at the building on the right (seperate) from in the last Inn in East Commons right before the West Commons zone line.
Ingredient of Gnomish Spirits.

I just attempted to purchase rat ears from each of the vendors listed above (Agar and Dalgrim Underbelly). Neither of them had any for sale. Does anyone know of any vendor that sells them? Thanks.
Players will sell these items to merchants, who keep them until the player logs out, or sometimes for a bit of time after the player logs. The best way to get these is to auction request them or shout you will pay for stacks.

They keep them until sold, or until the server is rebooted; they don't poof when the PC that sold them logs off.

Vendors lose all items they have that were sold to them by PCs if the zone is repopped, (repopulated), too.
They didn't sell them at all either when I looked!
