Well iksar shamans that is. You would think that if this is the expansion that the iksar and this zone was introduced the Iksarians would be included? No BP for u ikky, i can hear them saying.

Not to complain or anything but the description here says that he drops all the Kunark class specific BP's. So where is the Monk bp? Maybe not posted?

Been getting quite a few cross-server/server tells telling me I can't do Trak because of banish. Found em up tonight - would have had a log of the fight sooner but only been able to find UDB up in which case I duo. Found em up tonight though :) Hes gotten alot easier over the months, finished fight 92% hp and 40mana without blowing LC or outside buffs. Anyways here the log.

He most certainly does lifetap. Drained me of 1500 points last night (the undead bard spawned version of Trak anyway). Hits anywhere from 125 to 650 damage during normall melee also.

FYI Trak is not undead - or all I'm saying is undead pally dd spells did not work. Got the message (this spell is only for undead) or whatever. Let me know if someone else knows different as maybe it was bugged that day.

Had fun last night.
We wasted UDB. Trak spawned and killed a handful of us and seriously injured a large percentage of the rest before he died. Then less than 10 seconds later the normal Trak spawned on us. So we just had to kill him again.

2 dragon kills within 5 minutes.
About 3 breastplates dropped, and the final part for a friend's epic.

Trakanon was solo'd be a 65 druid. It wasn't me but its been discussed majorly.
The druid ran down to near trak, killed all the shrooms and see invis mobs, then invis'd up to trak, aggro'd it and ran around until it touched you to the "trak touch" room. From there she just waited for trak to run down to her with a huge train of jugs and other mobs, then egressed/exodus'd out. Then she ran back down to the "trak touch room" and Trak should be standing there all by itself. And then she ONLY self buffed herself, damage shield'd then went in.

Yes I know this doesn't seem believable to be done by a DRUID. But...

Two things i would like to add about this.
#1: The person that said in the third picture she wasn't solo'n it and someone else nuked it...she has plane of time gear, casting Summers Flame (1400 nuke) with her gear it boosts it up to about 1650 or so, so yes, that was her nuke

#2: That Dead Man Floating thing was brought up by people in the original forum it was posted. Here's the story: This is the second time for solo'n trak for her, she said that it was cast on her only the second time and that it didn't really matter, she had a self buffed poison of 500 PR anyway. Also she would have clicked it off but she said she was working at it for about 6 hours and didn't really look/care what buffs she had on.

And also just going to add this, she had 2 KEI like clicky items on and all the rest there was no potions, nothing else, just self buffs...and DMF by the looks of it.

The screenshot is somewhat blurry, but I can tell that the 1610 hp nuke was done by the druid since she has the /who in the other window and she's the only druid in zone. One thing I did notice is her buff box. She is wearing dead man floating. +70 poison resists, only castable by necros... SK's get bobbing corpse, but either way, druids don't, and the only item I know of with clicky DMF is and it's no rent with 1 charge. If you look in the /who, you'll notice there is a necro in zone... either way, it puts doubt in my mind that this was done solo, even though it says "You have gained experience" instead of "You have gained group experience". Could of been set up so that she had outside help.

Not saying it didn't happen, but common way to PL with a monk/ necro (yes monks can PL too =p) is;
Beat said mob down and then FD. Even if the other person only does 1/10th the damage, they will get full xp.
Possible scenario: Druid and Necro duo trak. Once and awhile the necro lets dots drop, druid takes scren shot (it only happened x2 durring the fight). Near the end of the fight, the necro FD's. Any damage he/ she did gets nulled due to FD. Appears as if druid solo's trak. Not saying it happened that way, just pointing out its a possibility given the facts presented.

DMF lasts for over an hour, and with Extended Blessing focus or Extended Enhancement it could almost 2 hours... More than enough time for Aelias get back down to the Banish Spot assuming help outside the Orb upon return.

Pretty sure it was only her clicky items and her own buffs. So for example is she has clicky shrawl with Maelins, she used that.

I'm not being picky about this, I'm just curious: how did she invis down to the trak touch room without aggroing anything in invis? There are many mobs in sebilis (including the entrance mobs) which see invis and tend to aggro along the way even though they're green.

I'd really like to try this myself one day so some insight would be appreciated.

Spawned Traknon went down 2 hours after the new year with the assistance of 8 people, and myself of course. Took all of 27 seconds to crush him. We had taken him down so fast the Cleric never healed and Traknon never got off his DoT. It was quite amazing. Thanks to those in Stratageme that Helped me Epic.

Has the UDB spawned version been nerfed? i was told he was after wiping a 2nd time on him, in less then a min the tank was banished 3-4 times which seems crasy? Was told the spawned one now banishes 50pct more of the hits. Thats nuts guess our epic wasn't hard enough now u got to find a group of sk / wiz to take him down.

I don't know if UDB Trak has been nerfed or not but I haven't noticed any difference in raids. Trak has and always will banish. A whole lot can and does happen in Trak fight if it lasts over 30 seconds or so. We usually drop him in a few seconds. The only times I have seen it go over that amount of time is if we happen to get Trak aggro trying to pull the surrounding jugs and then things tend to get a bit ugly, lol.

Three wiz, one with manaburn. MB'd on inc took him to about 80, bard had resist song playing, didn't seem to take any damage before his immediate death.

We took him down for bard epic(UDB depopped just before we engaged and this sucka popped). We killed him in under 2 minutes and everyone got hit with the DoT too(we didn't expect him to pop) next night we went back and rocked him again this time prepared no DoT's, and we killed in like 1 minute. Fastest time is 5.8 seconds for our guild(Stein on Drinal) he got nuked like nobody's bidnazz 5.8 seconds has to be a record of some kind

We did him with 2 groups, you dont need a healer. You just need all DPS, get all wizzies, mages, SKs with HT AA you can. I HTed him for 7.2+khp first and almost 20% of his HP is gone. He translocated me (banished me) I was still targeting him, and saw his HP drop fast. He didnt have a chance to banish another one before he died. 3 Wizzies should nuked for ~6k each(thats 2-3 nukes without critical) thats 18k damage, 2 mages did like 7k damage + my 7k thats 32k.. I know peolpe who triod him though.

Did him with 15 today and it was not hard at all, with level 60+ resources. If you want to do him easy have at least one person in each group with group heals and Radiant Cure. Cast rune on everyone before the fight, and spellshield if you have a wizard. Then during the fight chain rune on the MT that will annul his lifetap. His melee is pretty weak, he will chew up non tanks of course but if you keep him on a defensive warrior its hardly a threat.

I am sure that there are a lot of people that can answer this question, so I do not mind asking. Also I think this could be of nice use to anyone needing some info on Trakanon.

I am leader of a guild in the Karana Server, and have recently been asked to lead a raid on Trakanon, for loot ofcourse, but mostly for the VP key. (so yes we need teeth of that ******* :))

Can anyone give some info about Trakanon? Not only for me but for many to follow who would like to raid Trakanon. My guild is not to big yet, it has a few 60's, few 50's and mostly high 40's (48+).

Some info I would like to know:
How many do I need exactly? healers, tanks. Best way to deal with him? just give me a complete raid history. I am sure not only I, but also more people will like the hearing of this result.

Took em down earlier today with about 20 people level averaging 59, did AE at 60%hp then i caught aggro clawed me for 450 and I died, once i was finished zoning he was already whooped old school, not hard we had 3 monks 1 druid 6 Clerics (2 with click sticks) 2 warriors 3 rangers 1 wizard 1 shaman 2 enchanters 1 paladin. If a pick up raid can take em down anything can.

My guild, Legends of the Phoenix, on Zebuxoruk took down the spawned Trak in about 10 seconds last night! 2 of our warriors got banished. The Elder Spiritist BP dropped and the guts. It was over before I even had a chance to twist a full lineup of songs. LOL. Was overkill, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Had 21 people with an average raid level of 61, with 3 wizzies, 5 warriors, 2 clerics, 2 bards, 1 shaman, 1 necro, 1 druid, monks, beastlord, etc. We have another happy epiced bard in the guild now. :)

What's the respawn time on Trak? Does it varify? And how long does he spawn after server down?

group 1:
65 warrior 7k hp's+
65 warrior 7k hp's+
65 mage some coh the banished warriors and dps
65 cleric with aa's - need mgb and radient cure
65 bard for resists + regen
group 2:
65 wizzie with sos + crits 9
65 wizzie with sos + crits 9
65 mage coh banished peeps
65 druid spirit of the wood lvl 3 + mgb
65 shammy for slow resists and buffage

could use a enc but not neccissary.. mana wont be an issue, prolly only when clearing so maybe snag a kei before you head in. I am pretty sure that if your bard was able to pull the mobs around trak(could maybe even coh pull)so hes alone and position track properly this could be done easily.

have 2 MT's run in first and take first ae followed closely by everyone else. slow trak if he slows(dont matter... dont hit to hard anyway)
once his next ae goes off cleric and druid mgb spirit of the wood and EE respectively. mages coh anyone whos banished.. cleric druid keep people up while the wizzies nuke for 10percent of his hp's with SoS(so 5 non crit nukes each wizzie - mage dps) make sure druid uses hand of ro on him that way sos lands full. Only problem with this is, i find people that could do this wouldnt because the would much rather bekilling bigger stuff with more people and bigger loots but i bet it would work

Some things about Trak'anon. First, his AoE if landing full does 1,500 damage. Slowable, does not fear or dispel to my knowledge from the fight I was in.

ALSO, he does have mana and attempts to GATE! Make sure you attempt to stop him by all means necessary when he attempts to gate. If he gates he heals himself back up to 30% as well instantly.
