the undead bard ("UDB") spawned version of trak for the bard epic does not drop this every time. killed him last night, no sinew.

This can be dropped (rarely) by Juggs but I believe it's dropped by Trak himself every time (at least every time I have partaken in his killing, he's dropped this).

Confirmed both of these 5 minutes apart today. It's rare off the jugs though, I have killed hundreds and not seen it before. Trak was rotting with 4 minutes left on timer so I looked at the body, teeth and undead sinew was all they had left behind.
Quest out of Chardok, this item plus a Spirit Wracked Urn from Drusella Sathir in HS and a ring(Regal Band of Bathezid, also quested in Chardok) are turned in to one of the royals, yielding Spirit Wracked Cords. Surprised there isn't anything more posted on allakhazam.com about it, check thesafehouse.org (The Safehouse) for quest info (on the message boards, as I recall).
